There wasn't a moment where I wasn't dancing, loved the atmosphere and most of the people there were great! Every one of the sets that I went to go see we're amazing and some even left me speechless. The staff in the bathrooms were very friendly and nice. I'll definitely be there next year!!
Security wasn't very good and the lighting and sound system wasn't very good either. But still had a good time besides the fact that I lost my phone and someone stole it.
Third year in a row and I still had a blast!!! Everyone should go just for the experience :)
Everything was a blast. The two main stages were easy to get to and well constructed with tons of lights, confetti, fire etc... There was a very friendly atmosphere and everyone was just trying to have fun. I would highly recommend bringing your own camelback as food and drinks were expensive. All in all this was the best festival I've ever been too and my friends and I are making it a tradition. Line up was also incredible. Do yourself a favor and go!
Concert was sick. Food was good, music was awesome, bass was insane. Great techno festival.
SAMF was amazing this year. It was well run even if the security was more tight than last year. Good vibes from everyone and the sets were awesome.

CHUCKIE was mixin' up a bad ass set! Tiesto finished the first night with a bang!

Great event as always! The best lineup of world class DJs! Awesome event to have a good time and forget about the worries of life.
Security lines moved fairly fast. Great performers and music. Love the atmosphere. Fun stuff. Only suggestion is it should be an 18+ event
Pros: Good location, lots of artists, impressive sound systems. Still only good EDM festival in the greater Chicago area. Cons: Price gouging for food and drink because they can. Ridiculous rules and what can and cannot be brought it (beyond food and drink). Every change and 'improvement' that has been made since the first year has been entirely driven by money at the cost of the environment and experience of the festival attendees. First year was great, second and third have been poor in comparison.
First time I've been to this festival. I will definitely be going back every year from now on. What an incredible weekend!
I am not sure if I felt comfortable with no age limit. I think it should be at least 18+

Full Disclosure - we are OLD, over 55, but love our EDM. Had an awesome time, only regret was having to choose between artists, for example Diplo or Pretty Lights, go see Big Gigantic and then get trampled trying to get in for Kaskade. VIP NOT worth the $. It took half an hour at Will Call to get our wristbands. Really? Anyone hear of snailmail? What did we get for the extra $ - Nothing really. No one, and I mean no one knew where the "don't wait in line - go to the VIP entrance" was - strike one. The private bathrooms? Porta Potties in the VIP area - no thanks, there are real restrooms in the stadium - strike two. Special VIP area? Um, a slightly elevated standing platform, no chairs outside and anyone could sit anywhere in the stadium. At the 2nd stage it was more comfortable to sit on the grass with our backs to the VIP fences - strike three. Full bar? Ok, yeah you could get mixed drinks, but the extra $110 I paid for a 3 day VIP can buy a lot of beer.
One of the best festivals I have ever been to. The sound system could use some tweaking but it was still wonderful. Can't wait for next year!
Every year it gets better and better. Nothing like a great edm festival in the Midwest. Going back for the four time next year for sure.
