    Spider-Man was forgettable

by Cofton21 on 1/4/14Foxwoods Theatre - New York

We came to New York from the UK for a Xmas break. We love musicals and have seen many at the West End in London. We decided to see a show that was synonymous with Broadway and one that is not currently running in the West End.. Spider-Man is famed for its special effects and in this regard we were not disappointed. However, we were not expecting the very poor acting coupled with the complete reliance on microphones to project voices (shame on you!). The singing was just about OK but felt half-hearted. The music itself varied from sweet to just plain awful. I'm afraid that I couldn't in all conscience recommend it to anyone.

Why is this show ending on Broadway? It's awesome!

by AntonioBanderas on 1/3/14Foxwoods Theatre - New York

I didn't know what to really expect from this show but I was very happily surprised. The sets were very innovative for a Broadway show. The talent level of the singers was excellent. They really made me feel the songs. There was a lot of good humor in the show. There was a very cartoonish feel about the show but nothing that made it feel cheesy. There was a pause in the second half because of technical difficulty, I'm sure for some people this would be annoying but for me it wasn't at all considering everything they are attempting to do in a theater with the characters flying in the air. For the actors and backstage hands to make such a great effort at doing something visually new and stunning in a musical is pretty amazing to me. I don't mind the delay in the show considering the quality of the content was so very, very high. A+++ for Spiderman. I wish that it wasn't closing down cause I'd take all of my family next time.

    Spiderman was the worst play!

by justvalm on 1/3/14Foxwoods Theatre - New York

Spiderman was a really disappointing play. Its story line, music, vocals and effects were below average. The best character who was the only redeeming part of the play was the Green Goblin. At least he was funny. I wouldn't recommend wasting the money on seeing Spiderman.

    I love the flying scene

by Juben1971 on 1/3/14Foxwoods Theatre - New York

I enjoyed the show. It was amazing. I like the flying scene. Although it was dragging at the beginning but it did picked up towards the middle. I like the villains acting

    Amazing!

by faithwillpower on 1/2/14Foxwoods Theatre - New York

The show was worth every dime; the cast is incredible and did a marvelous job. I took my children and they were blown away. The highlight of the show was when Spiderman stood right next to my ten year old and waved at him, he said that it was the best birthday present ever!

    Spider-Man was

by PEDL on 1/2/14Foxwoods Theatre - New York

The scenery was great, the acting was fantastic, the costumes were cool the acro was outstanding but the music was disappointing! We like the band U2 a lot but the music for this musical was horrible. Also during the very first scene one of the ushers came up to us and asked to see our tickets because he said we were in the wrong seats. He caused a scene, he was loud and rude, we missed the entire first scene and part of the second.....we were in our right seats and he never apologized!!!

    Spider-man turn off the dark

by floridapoo on 1/2/14Foxwoods Theatre - New York

The show was entertaining. The flying maneuvers were exciting and stage set was innovative. At times the show felt "cheesy" and I felt it came up short on the music (which was way too loud...made the lyrics hard to understand).my entire group felt luke warm about the show.

Spider-Man-I'm sorry to see it leaving NYC

by Alisuew21 on 1/2/14Foxwoods Theatre - New York

Amazing show overall. Great storyline, music actors, dancing, set and outstanding acrobats and flying stunts. Well worth the high ticket price. I've soon over 30 broadway shows and this one was by far one of my top 3 favorite of all time. My 9 year old son loved it. We had front row seats which were, overall, amazing , with the exception of 1 scene we couldn't see but it was still worth sitting so close. I may have to make a special trip to Vegas in 2015 or 2016 to see it again!!!!

    Spidey was forgettable!

by bfulldog on 1/2/14Foxwoods Theatre - New York

Technical problems delayed the performance half way through first act of the play. You would think they would have figured it out by now! No surprise it is gone now. A few special effects could not save this pig!

Spder-Man Turn Off The Dark was great

by wurtmiester on 1/2/14Foxwoods Theatre - New York

This show had great actors/actresses, many action scenes, and high flying moments. I really enjoyed seeing Spider-Man and the Green Goblin swing over the audience. But, I love shows that have a lot of great dance numbers and songs and while the songs were good they were not the best I've seen. Also, certain parts of the show made me question why they did it that way. I could think of better ways they could've done some parts. Overall I would recommend it but not see it again.

    Spiderman was really good!

Actually loved it. My 9 year old was engaged the entire show ( we sat in balcony). Sorry to see it leave NYC.

Very poor - technical glitches; a weak and confused story; poor performances and forgettable songs. Only worth seeing for the gimmicks and stunts, which are mildly entertaining. Not a real show.

    TERRIBLE REVISED SCENES

by METRO32168 on 1/2/14Foxwoods Theatre - New York

it was another spectacular show especially for their year end performance. i would like to be advised in advance of who is casting for the day. they should have not revised any of the scenes, there were alot less flying scenes of the masked crusader. the lyrics to most of the songs were no up to par.
