Sound of Music Sing-A-Long Tickets

A group of us went to the Sound of Music Sing-a-long. We enjoyed the movie and the chance to sing along. It was a fun evening with the girls. However, the pre-show was terrible. We could not find any information on what the preview was, so we thought it was the sing along. Wrong. The comedienne was terrible!! None of us or anyone around us liked her at all and she was not on theme with her costume or bad jokes. The costume parade was way too long. She continued her chatter with the kids past the time the movie was scheduled to start. She should not be brought back. Advertisements for the event should state clearly what the pre-show is - is has nothing to do with the sing-a-long.

Our family goes to Hollywood Bowl every year but the Sound of Music Sing Along was our first. We had such a great time and loved the costumes competition. We sang our hearts out and like no one was watching, so owesome. We are thinking of going again next year.

SOOO much fun! Beautiful summer night to watch a beautiful movie on the big screen under the stars! Great, nice, family friendly crowd. The audience and the kids are really into it and add a lot to the movie experience.

Great event! My friends and I had a picnic just outside of the entrance and went inside around 7ish. We made it to our sits right when the movie started, which means we missed the pre-show, but that's ok because we got our wine-on instead. I love how everyone was so into the singing and the plot. I will be back next year!

I payed 40 $ for watching the movie ..... Too expensive. I thought it will be an orchestra or a group of singers playing a performance but it was only the projection of the movie. It was a trick or a fake

Attended like 12 years ago and always wanted to go again, finally did with my sisters and we LOVE TSOM! We had a great night! The audience is super engaged in the movie and it was SO fun!! Bring dinner, snacks, and bottle of wine, etc! Great for couples, adult friends yet TOTALLY Family friendly too! LOVE LOVE LOVE!!

Thought that this show would include live music at least. Did not know that it was only a movie playing. No live singer or live orchestra. A bit disappointed

I've now been to the Sing Along for 4 years. Each year is a little different but so much fun. A lot of families and a lot of people get dressed accordingly! Since it's the Bowl parking is difficult but the show was well worth it. Bring a picnic including some wine and have a blast!

I took my niece for her birthday and we had a great time from beginning to end. The audience was great and only added to the love we share for this timeless classic! The host was so awesome, I hope they ask Melissa Peterman back again. I would definately recommend this to all me friends and family. We plan to do this again next year!

This was my first Sound of Music Sing-Along. I absolutely loved every moment of it. Can't wait till next year. It was a joyous event; lots of happy folks, good food, fun chatter with everyone and of course-that wonderful music with Julie's crystal clear voice.

If you love The Sound of Music and love to sing tgis is the event for you. This is the 4th year I've attended and everytime I am so glad I did! The bowl is a great venue anyway and with everyone singing out in the open its a real treat. Edelweiss is my personal favorite, when everyone holds up their cell phone illuminating the open air theater. If you have never seen the movie, you would want to watch it first, as most of us have seen it many times, and you may not catch all the dialogue as many audience members speak along, or make funny comments. The costume contest during the preshow is also entertaining!

It was a really amazing evening and experience. I highly recommend it!

A memorable and pleasant experience, feel prevalaged to see this classic on big screen in such quality at that venue, with 18 thousand fans. That was a treat.

Unfortunately, my son and I were surrounded by inebriated assholes. I had a hard time hearing the dialogue. I realize the event was a sing a long, but the dialogue was important also. The people behind us kept dropping their wine bottle and the wine dripped down and made a mess where I was sitting. The people in front kept yelling at the screen. In hindsight, I wish I would have found an usher and asked to be moved. Next time, I will do that. We love going to the Hollywood Bowl. We always have a good time.

Love all the interaction with the sing a long. The only thing we didn't like was someone kept using laser pointers on the screen throughout the movie and it was very annoying. Those should be banned! Otherwise my niece and I had loads of fun!

My parents took us to see the Sound of Music when it first came out in 1965. I was 12 and have loved it ever since. Once I found out about the sing along I always wanted to go. We made it this year. My wife and I dressed up (she as Maria & I was Uncle Max). This event is a must for any serious Sound of Music fan!!!

The Sound of Music Sing-a-long was a long overdue event for me. I should have come years ago! It was an awesome evening and I will come back next year!

Best night of my life! Recommend to everyone ! Amazing!

Venue: First time at the Hollywood Bowl, and section P1 and P2 had great views of the stage. Everyone brings their picnic baskets and either finds a table around the perimeter of the stadium, or eats at their seats. Very laid-back atmosphere. Show: This was such a fun event if you're a fan of the movie and know all the songs! You are given a bag of accoutrements to aid in community participation, so it's not just all about singing. Crowd: All ages were present, and everyone was patient with entering and exiting with such a large crowd. We took the bus from Westchester which is highly recommended, however, the instructions to get back to the bus after the show was not very clear. Since there are so many buses that go to different locations, many bus patrons were lost, trying to find the correct one.

Any respecting Sound of Music fan MUST attend this event at least once in their lifetimes! Great atmosphere, fun and lively. :) Can't wait to do it again next year! A perfect Summer evening with friends and Captain Von Trapp!
