Sound of Music was excellent fun!!

by AD16562 on 7/19/11Fox Theatre Atlanta - Atlanta

Singing a long to the Sound of Music was the best fun. Knowing most of the words by heart (having seen the movie many times over years it was fun to get to inter-act with the moive. I was amazed at how many people were in costume and how creative many were. Having this at the Fox was a perfect venue too. I would highly recommend this to all.

    So Much Fun!

Had a great time. What a super idea! Wish some people would behave better in public, but that's certainly not the Fox's fault.

    The Sound of Interactive Fun!

by JimandT on 7/19/11Fox Theatre Atlanta - Atlanta

Since the Sound of Music is one of my wife's favorite movies I figured this event would be lots of fun. It was! The costume contest was a riot; the impromptu moments were priceless. Having a bag of interactive props made the sing-a-long even more enjoyable. Well done! We would go again for sure.

    SoM Sing-a-Long was the BEST!

by lovetosingATL on 7/19/11Fox Theatre Atlanta - Atlanta

This was one of the most fun things I've ever done in Atlanta! In a room full of Sound of Music enthusiasts, it was a pure delight to lift our voices together in song. The included props were wonderful. All around, it was a fabulous, family-friendly event. I would do it again tomorrow if I could.

    Sound Of Music

by Maria100 on 7/19/11Fox Theatre Atlanta - Atlanta

Loved the sing-a-long component -- so much fun to have the subtitles and a rowdy audience. The MC spent too long giving the "rules" of the event and the costume contest was cute but should be limited to first 25/50 participants to arrive. A 3-hour movie is exceptionally long and the pre-show events dragged too much. I would definitely attend again but would love for the pre-show actiites to be modified.

FUN, FUN, FUN.....I had a great time dancing and singing through the Alps. Great time for the entire family. The costume contest was an added bonus. The way you want to watch the movie but your family and friends won't let you. Go for it!!! Loved seeing the move on such a large screen.

    Wonderful Event!

by Kmoody on 7/19/11Fox Theatre Atlanta - Atlanta

The Sound of Music Sing-a-Long was awesome! My family, friends and I had a great time! We truly enjoyed singing along with the movie and participating/observing the crowd participation. There were great costumes and we enjoyed our 'prop'bag immensely. My only criticisim would be the length of parade/instructions. We were expecting to be home by 4:30-5p and didn't leave until well after 6p. Perhaps I didn't look at all the details, but I had no idea we would be there so long. Maybe the parade could be before the movie start time and those who want to watch/participate can choose to do so themselves.
