Sleater-Kinney on Tour

Sleater-Kinney's The Center Won't Hold is the first new album from the celebrated band since their 2015 album, No Cities To Love, available August 16 on Mom + Pop. After years of legendary collaboration, rock'n'roll giants Carrie Brownstein (guitar/vocals) and Corin Tucker (guitar/vocals) sound bigger and bolder than ever. The new album was produced by Annie Clark (St. Vincent), and hailed by The FADER as "one of the most furious, dynamic records of their career." The New York Times called them "one of rock's most enduring and respected acts" and Rolling Stone gave the record 4 stars and raved, "one of America's greatest bands does battle with modern apathy on thrilling LP."

Sleater-Kinney in Concert

Sleater-Kinney set a new bar for punk's political insight and emotional impact. Now, at the height of their formidable powers, the feminist icons continue to challenge themselves, break all the rules and push boundaries. This new creative chapter in the acclaimed band's musical journey is poised to win over both longtime admirers and new fans alike.

  • Amazing show and experience

by Hitherfrom on 10/27/19Tabernacle presented by Cricket Wireless - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

The show was fantastic. Sleater-kinney were absolutely incredible and brought great energy to the show and the staff at the Tabernacle, as always, was friendly and helpful. The merchandise was great and reasonably priced as were the drinks and the overall experience was fantastic.

  • The Biggest Emotional Unhinging of My Life

by S. O. on 10/26/19Tabernacle presented by Cricket Wireless - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

Litrally could not explain in words properly how gratifying and emotionally releasing it was to jump and scream at the top of my lungs to Jumpers, What's Mine Is Yours, and Dig Me Out. I'm quite literally never going to forget this night, I'm probably a changed person after it. Like I think this show had awakened something deep inside of me. I truly feel like a protagonist at the end of an Ari Aster horror film. In a good way. Unhinged women rights.

  • The Best NYE Ever

by Gallina on 1/3/17The Masonic - San FranciscoRating: 5 out of 5

We had the best time! This venue is very classy and spacious. The crowd was diverse and respectful. Sleater Kinney really rocks live. If you have a chance to see them, do it!

  • Sleater-Kinney not to be missed

    by Hockeyjam on 12/16/15Terminal 5 - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

Corin Tucker, Carrie Brownstein and Janet Weiss played some kick a$$ rock. Corbin's voice is awesome and Carrie is a rockstar on stage with her rock moves. Janet F'n Weiss on the drum kit ties it all together.

  • Awesomesauce!!!!

Band was high energy as expected. Venue was very cool.

  • Perfect experience!

by lopefry on 12/15/15Kings Theatre - BrooklynRating: 5 out of 5

Sleater Kinney rocked as hard as ever, but performed more like rock stars (in a good way) than ever. They are crazy cool. But the venue was also incredible. King's Theater is a beautifully renovated, palatial space. It's super well-staffed, and the staff were all so friendly. My husband is in a wheelchair, and they were very gracious about escorting us directly to our seats. When Sleater Kinney started playing everyone stood up and my husband couldn't see, but almost immediately a staff member came and led us (along with a friend who had joined us) up front so we could all get a good view. Overall really pleasant experience.

  • Sleater-Kinney is unbelievably great

by DarthRocker on 12/15/15Kings Theatre - BrooklynRating: 5 out of 5

Sleater-Kinney played a large number of their best songs. They have been called the best band performing today, and I believe it.

  • Total rock stars

by Edear on 12/15/15Kings Theatre - BrooklynRating: 5 out of 5

Amazing band with great sound and lyrics, the show was rock solid and they blasted through nearly 20 songs without skipping a beat- no pun intended

  • KICK. ASS.

    by Sasquatch1978 on 12/15/15Kings Theatre - BrooklynRating: 5 out of 5

Show was kick ass. 'nuff said. There's nothing else to say but they're making me type more so blah blah blah

  • AWESOME SHOW

    by EmJb09 on 12/15/15Kings Theatre - BrooklynRating: 5 out of 5

I have loved Sleater Kinney since I was a kid and they were everything I hoped they would be! Great sound system, the venue, Kings Theatre is so beautiful. I had a fantastic experience. The stage art was also really beautiful, overall, superb evening seeing Sleater Kinney at the Kings Theatre!

  • S-K is amazing

    by OMGWTF753 on 12/15/15Kings Theatre - BrooklynRating: 5 out of 5

Beware, Kings Theatre has assigned seating, which is awful if you are expecting to actually enjoy a rock band. Sleater-Kinney played an amazing set as usual, but the space itself lacked in energy.

  • SO. MUCH. AWESOME.

by JMRBoston on 12/15/15Kings Theatre - BrooklynRating: 5 out of 5

From the very second they took the stage, they brought it. So much energy and bravado. The chemistry between Carrie and Corin on stage was so compelling. Janet is a MACHINE. Corin's voice showed no signs of strain after several nights of performing -- nor did Carrie's. The set was beautiful, the colors, the lights, the movement. The venue was amazing. These women are just otherworldly beings. Every song delivered. Could not have expected a better show.

  • Sleater-Kinney knows how to put on a show!!

    by JKane702 on 12/15/15Kings Theatre - BrooklynRating: 5 out of 5

First I will say that the venue for this show was a beautifully renovated historic theater. I was completely awestruck when walking in to the theater by how ornate and beautifully restored this space was. Definitely several steps above what I am used to when attending a rock show. Once the show started I was nothing short of amazed by Sleater-Kinney. I purchased these tickets a while ago & traveled a good distance to be at this show. It was all worth it as soon as these 3 stepped on stage and started playing. These women are consummate performers and amazing musicians. Every song they played was executed with great precision and enthusiasm. Sleater-Kinney exceeded my lofty expectations and gave one of the best concerts I have ever seen.

  • These girls rocked it, as always!!

by HugeSKFan on 12/8/15Newport Music Hall - ColumbusRating: 5 out of 5

This was my 2nd time seeing Sleater Kinney on their reunion run, and they did not disappoint! Every song made me jump for joy and sing along. Unfortunately, that's more than I can say for a lot of the crowd around me. I didn't get there early enough to be with the people in the pit, presumably knowing the Lion's share of the songs as I did. I happened to be in an entire half of the lower level merely content with standing, staring, and maybe bobbing their heads. Either way, the show was sold out and I had a blast. Sleater Kinney is just fantastic!

I saw Sleater-Kinney two nights in a row and i feel spiritually healed. The energy and emotion they put into their sets was recieved. I am forever thankful for their music and power.

I waited nine years to see SK and they did not disappoint.

  • Sleater-Kinney entertains

by Anonymous on 12/7/15Egyptian Room at Old National Centre - IndianapolisRating: 5 out of 5

Great show! So glad I was able to see this band. Corin's voice is unique, Janet kills it on the drums, and Carrie's guitar and moving skills made this a very entertaining way to spend the evening. If you can catch them in your town you will not regret it!!

  • Finally SLEATER-KINNEY
