  • Good show from some 80s stalwarts

An entertaining show to be sure, and the crowd of forty- and fifty-somethings reflected it. Cannery's layout, an indoor/outdoor arrangement is good and intimate. The sound was a little off in the opening songs of Slaughter's set, but it seemed to correct itself by midway through the show. Both lead singers from Kix and Slaughter had difficulty with some of the high notes they used to hit with regularity in the old days, but time takes its toll. They did pretty well, and both bands sounded solid all things considered. At least they aren't using Autotune! I wish there'd been a little more than drumsticks and Slaughter t-shirts at the merch stand, and in fact the sticks were already sold out by time I got there. That was a bummer. I would also like to see a return to concert programs, but I have been advised at several concerts that touring acts rarely, if ever, carry them anymore inasmuch as the overhead for production is too high to make them cost effective.

  • Slaughter all time favorite

by Lana on 3/15/22Cannery Hotel and Casino - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

Absolutely loved the show, I like the fact that they played in a smaller venue where there really weren't any bad seats. The volume was pretty loud but who doesn't want to listen to Rock that way? LOL The guys have aged but the music was still on point and sounded just like it does on the radio. Thanks for an awesome performance

  • Great show, gyrations venue

Absolutely great show. Slaughter sounded great and played all the hits. Loved the venue. Can’t wait to see them again

  • Slaughter • Kix @ The Cannery

Music was great. Kix lead singer talked too much. Sound quality could have been better (venue rentals perhaps?).

  • Sound guy should be fired

Kix opened and was really good but we were really excited to see slaughter. It was over half an hour for the break down/ set up with music blaring the whole time. Slaughter came on with super loud sirens to the point that all of the people around us were covering their ears. They started playing their first song and the expressions on everyone’s face said it all. Pure discomfort. It hurt to not be coving your ears. We were sitting 4th row right under the monitors so it was probably the loudest section of the venue. It was almost as if the sound guys had it tuned in for an arena in a small 1000 person amphitheater. I don’t even know if the band sounded good because all I could hear was bass and drums. We and many people around us left before they even started their third song. The people that worked at the casino were handing out free drink tickets to people leaving cause even they knew it was bad. I know this makes me sound older but I’m in my 20s! It’s been three days and my ears are still ringing talk about permanent hearing damage!

  • Great venue, great show!

Slaughter was awesome! Can't wait to see them again!

  • Show was good

by Hazel on 11/26/19Ace of Spades - SacramentoRating: 3 out of 5

The show was good but the venue, Ace of Spades, needs more employees or someone needs to be scheduled to check on the restrooms. The women’s bathroom had several stalls already flooded by the 2nd band. Gross.

  • Slaughter might have been good...

If I had been notified of the date change! Had a lengthy live chat with TM and was supposed to receive a credit, but so far nothing.

  • Slaughter was unforgettable

    by Rockout1958 on 7/5/18San Manuel Casino - HighlandRating: 5 out of 5

We got to the venue early for the 10 O'clock show. They let us in early and we got to stand front and center stage. caught 3 guitar picks and Mark Slaughter surprised us with an autograph session after the show. This meant the world to me. We liked the venue also because it is small enough to get up close and personal with the entertainment. We will definitely be back.

  • Awesome show

When I bought my tickets I did not know there was two showtimes. Boy am I glad I went to the 8pm show. Slaughter played for an hour and a half. First time at this venue. Was in Rock & Brews. As close as you wanted to the stage. Was a great no drama evening and the bar was close by. Venue gives you wrist bands to go in and out. Band sounded great and is a favorite of mine.Added bonus was we were told we could stay for the 10pm show. They only played for an hour. Had a great time and really enjoyed the show. Always have to catch the band as they dont come to West Coast that often.

  • More Slaughter, Less Great White

by JimHawg on 3/5/18Choctaw Grand Theater - DurantRating: 2 out of 5

As far as rock shows go, i was less than impressed with Great White. The antics of their front man was more of a distraction than showmanship. He should take showmansip lessons from Slaughters drummer, he was the best part of the show.
