  • Incredible energy!

    by NightProwler33 on 5/23/10Deerfoot Inn & Casino - CalgaryRating: 5 out of 5

Right from the first song, the entire band were into it and were having fun. They played what appeared to be an encore, but was really a second set of music that included a couple of Motley Crue songs (Live Wire and Looks that kill), a tribute to Ronnie James Dio (Heaven and Hell) and then a medley of songs that included Led Zepplin, Black Sabbath to name a few). They also, of course, played all their best songs including "Fly with Angels" and "Up all night, sleep all day".

  • Slaughter in one word, AMAZING!

I took my 18 year old son and we were right up against the stage. Because of this show, Slaughter has a new fan for life! He absolutely loved it and they totally rocked the place!

  • Not bad for the price

3 bands for undr $20 not too bad. Sounds wasn't very good at the Grizzly Rose, but a good time.

  • Slaughter was forgettable!

This was the worst show I have ever seen...and I've been to alot of shows. Most of the songs were unrecognizable...and where has his voice gone. This was like the openers opening band...not long time ROCKERS! We left early, and had no idea what that show was about. OUCH!!!!

  • Slaughter was horrible

by Stephenie on 8/29/09Grizzly Rose - DenverRating: 1 out of 5

The band was goo, but Mark's voice was terrible, and I think he was wasted, too. We suffered through 2 openeing acts, both of whom were not even in the same musical genre as Slaughter, only to be disappointed once Slaughter started to play. Our anticipation and patience was for nothing. The performance wasn't worth the $20 bucks, and it was only $20 bucks!

  • Slaughter Band good, Mark Slaughter, bad vocals

by kslavik on 8/29/09Grizzly Rose - DenverRating: 1 out of 5

My husband and I have been HUGE fans of Slaughter's since the 80's. While the band itself sounded good, Mark Slaughter came on stage already slightly drunk. He continued to drink onstage and then proceeded to slur his words. Half the time you didn't know what song they were playing and his voice sounded like it was shot. Not sure if it was shot over all, or just shot from touring. Friends said they had seen them at Rocklhoma last year and sounded great. I was certainly glad I didn't pay the full ticket price (typically around $80) WE have seen several concerts this season including Judas Priest (sounded great) Queensryche (Always sounds great) Def Lep (sounded good) Nickelback (great) Hopefully Marks comes around, but Probably wouldn't go see them again.

  • Like back in the day!

To say this show was amazing would be an understatement! Have seen Slaughter too many times to count since the 80'S and they still rock!!! They are always receptive to the crowd and their fans! That has not changed either!! I could not get any of my friends to go with me,(work and such) so I went alone, and am so glad I did!!! Thanks Ticketmaster and Slaughter, can't wait til you come back, I will be right up front again!!!!
