Hi-energy Show!! We were waiting for the drummer to do a backflip off the amp stack. Mark was great as ever.

I actually ended up at this show by accident! I was checking the Choctaw website for tickets to Kid Rock and noticed they were already sold out. So, I decided to check out who else was playing and found the Slaughter and Great White event. I have seen both band in the past but I thought it would be fun to see them again. I have really been looking forward to going to see the Choctaw Casino anyways. Well, needless to say, I have noticed a trend with the bands from the 80's and 90's, they work so hard to please their long time fans. The sound and lights were amazing, the energy between the fans and the band were on fire. Slaughter did a great job of playing the favorites and thanked the audience several times for coming and thanked the military for everything they do. I even got lucky and found Mark Slaughter at the merch table signing autographs after his show. It was a fun night and Choctaw treated us great as well.

Was one of the better concerts Ive been to in awhile. Both bands put a lot of heart into the performance. The only thing that would have made the show better was if Jack Russel was the front man for Great White. Terry Ilous can sing well, and sounds similar, but its hard to replace a front man. Slaughter out performed them in my opinion. Their drummer was rocking! The casino sound system was better than many casinos Ive been to including the Hard Rock in Tulsa OK.

  • Slaughter met Mark

After the show Mark signed autographs, took pics, & shared a story with me! Great band to hear live!

  • Still got it!

After all these years Slaughter and Great White still got it. Mark Slaughter can still hit those high notes that he did back in the 80s and 90s. But the winner of the night was Great White. The best part was when they performed save all your love. Location was just right.

  • Spectacular Show for Slaughter!

by Inutsu on 3/3/18Choctaw Grand Theater - DurantRating: 4 out of 5

I'm a huge fan of 80's music and I think Slaughter has a ton of great songs. That said I was honestly worried going into the show because I've seen a lot of people say that Mark Slaughter's voice isn't what it used to be. I'd have to disagree entirely, he's still got it in spades! He and the band (particularly the drummer, his high energy performance was possibly the best part of the whole show) were absolutely spectacular and I'd highly recommend them!

  • Great place to see a show

by Mofombo on 11/23/16Penn's Peak - Jim ThorpeRating: 3 out of 5

The hall was great. Sound quality for LynchMob was poor. Slaughter had no lead guitar for the first 4 song. That sucked. After that it rocked.

  • Lynch Mob/Slaughter

by Jammerman on 11/22/16Penn's Peak - Jim ThorpeRating: 2 out of 5

I must say I was disappointed with the whole night. That is something I rarely say. Let's start with Lynch Mob. Very disappointed in the sound. George Lynch's was so buried in the mix you could barely here him. They did nothing to feature George and he is the man. It could have been any guitar player up there and no would have known the difference. It's a shame. Slaughter, love their songs and I saw them a year ago and they stole the show from Great White. Tonight they played Penns Peak. A nice smaller venue. Unfortunately someone forgot to tell the sound guys it wasn't a large stadium. Everything was way too loud and muddled for this venue. Very dissapointed.

  • Disappointed

by oldslaughterfan on 11/22/16Penn's Peak - Jim ThorpeRating: 2 out of 5

I was disappointed in the show. Although they performed all the major hits, Mark basically screamed all the songs. I know 99% of the words to Slaughter's songs but it was difficult to "sing along". The music was way to loud and he rarely sang the songs as they are on the album. If you weren't sure what the song was, you could not really follow along. Therefore it was just a loud band with a screaming artist and not enjoyable to listen too.

  • Excellent!

The show was great! Mark looked and sounded amazing! He hit all the high notes and sounded just like he did 30 years ago.

  • Sadly Disappointed!

I will start this by saying that I still love Slaughter and their music. I was so looking forward to seeing this band as Stick It To Ya is one of my favorite albums, so when I got tickets to see them I was over the moon. However, this show was so loud that it literally hurt my ears. I have been to many, many concerts in my life and I have never experienced such a painful decibel level of "music". They were so painfully loud that you couldn't even make out the songs... which leads me to my next pain point. I was in in love with their songs and I just wanted to sing along to my favorites. I could not even do that as Mark did not sing them like he recorded them. I was holding out for my favorite, "Mad About You"... but when I couldn't sing along and I had so much pain in my ears from the volume that I was forced to leave the show. This is the first time I have EVER left a concert. Ever. I will continue to enjoy Slaughter's music via CD and never again live.

  • Please come back to Cali Soon!!!

by Soozkatt on 12/22/15Morongo Casino Resort and Spa - CabazonRating: 5 out of 5

Slaughter's Powerful Presence, Musicianship, Energy, Entertainment and Incredible Interaction with their adoring fans draws you back in like it's still the early 90's! Mark still has pipes but most of all, you see & FEEL him singing straight from the heart to all his Fans!! After all these years (25+) you can still see Mark's female fans going crazy over him just like we're still in our 20's! He's still HOT! My biggest respect for Jeff because he allowed his fans come up to the stage (small area) despite Security. This is what live music is all about; you want to be up close & personal with Slaughter! The incredibly TALENTED & AMAZING Dana called my daughter Natalie & another little boy (unrelated) up on stage and she got to Rock-Out with Dana and played a little drums with Zoltan!! Zoltan is non-stop entertainment and raw energy! An amazing & priceless experience. My daughter Natalie is a huge fan of Slaughter and loves many of their unpopular songs and after Friday night, she's determined more than ever to see more shows and the chance to sing one of her favorite songs with Mark, "Breakdown N' Cry." Yes, she can hit those high notes on this song! The only complaint I have is that 11 songs wasn't enough and there was no encore. Unfortunately, security made sure to disperse the crowd shortly after their last long, so I don't think an encore was an option. My solution, go to more Slaughter concerts!! Slaughter’s music makes me feel Happy with a surge of Energy & Passion like no other band. Slaughter's music continues to provoke me like I'm listening to them for the first time and it's been 25 years! Never stop Touring because this is OUR music that lives in our hearts & memories forever!! Thanks for coming to Cali and PLEASE COME BACK SOON!!!
