My girls and I saw this together and loved every minute of it. So much energy and the music was awesome. The all women cast brought the house down!! Would definitely see it again.. and again…

  • Great show!

by Sarah on 8/10/22The National Theatre - WashingtonRating: 5 out of 5

Overall, this was SUCH an awesome show. Ton of energy, awesome talents, fun, poignant, catchy. All of the performers were fantastic, but a personal standout to me was the woman who played Catherine of Aragon. It was hard to take my eyes off of her. Only tiny complaint (not in regards to the performer, more so the sound system), is that there were times where I had trouble understanding the lyrics, but again, I think it was the quality of the sound system not the actual actors. I plan on seeing this show again and bringing friends!

  • Fabulous fun evening

by lcg on 8/10/22The National Theatre - WashingtonRating: 4 out of 5

The performances were outstanding. The cast and band were on stage the entire 80 '-90 minutes. Very clever ides cudos to the Writers I gave it 4 stars because sometimes Accoustics at the National at times was a little high pitched An added bonus is go on Sunday parking is free on the street Enjoy!

Funny, upbeat, joyful entertainment. You will leave the theatre singing and smiling!

  • Great Energy and Girl Power!

by Alice K on 8/10/22The National Theatre - WashingtonRating: 5 out of 5

This show was totally amazing! Our cast was all female to include the band members as well. It was filled with amazing energy and female empowerment (even if history doesn't write it that way). Keep in mind this is a short musical. It was a little over an hour and no intermission. Still worth every penny!

  • Outstanding!

by Pgh in VA on 8/10/22The National Theatre - WashingtonRating: 5 out of 5

I can't rave about this production enough! I didn't really know what to expect but it certainly wasn't a history lesson provided by 6 amazingly talented women! I thought it was going to be a musical drama, but it was far from it. Be prepared for laughter and smiling!

  • Great Experience for Adults & Teens

by kylie on 8/10/22The National Theatre - WashingtonRating: 5 out of 5

My daughters and I bought tickets to this show on the same-day. My 14-year-old had listened to the soundtrack & said "it wasn't my favorite." By the end of the show she was exclaiming, "That was the most incredible thing I've ever seen in my life!" It was a short show, but perfect. Felt more like a concert & very interactive. Audience was dancing toward the end. Highly recommend!

  • TOO GOODD

by Reilly on 8/10/22The National Theatre - WashingtonRating: 5 out of 5

I went to watch with my mom, sister and a friend. They thought it was amazing. The singing and dancing was so top tier. I personally thought it was better than I thought it was. The sound and lights was added so much to the experience.

  • Wow!

by April on 8/10/22The National Theatre - WashingtonRating: 5 out of 5

Fantastic! Best show I've seen in a long time. The ladies were fabulous. Great musicality, fast paced, highly entertaining. A must see!

  • Henry VII should've known better

    by C. R. on 8/10/22The National Theatre - WashingtonRating: 5 out of 5

The performers were unbelievably talented and the book and lyrics were the most creative blend of true history storytelling and current vernacular

  • Phenomenal and Fun!

by Paula on 8/10/22The National Theatre - WashingtonRating: 5 out of 5

I really didn't know what to expect form this musical since my understanding was that it's more like a concert than a typical musical. So I had very slight reservations. But wow! It was SO SO GOOD. I loved the messages, the women power, the costumes, the music, the dancing, the humor... EVERYTHING! It was so good and I felt personally understood by watching and participating in it. I even cried a little at the end. Ladies, you should see this and take your daughters (just be aware that there's a lot of adult content). My husband loved it too. I will see this one again for sure.

  • True Queens

by John B on 8/10/22The National Theatre - WashingtonRating: 5 out of 5

We had heard the songs from Six before going. We liked them, although we are not pop music fans generally. This cast, though, brought the music roaring to life. We were spellbound. Now we are busily trying to figure out whether we can sell our stuff, outfit a microbus with Tudor accessories, and see the production in other towns as if we were following Jerry Garcia. Are “SixHeads” a thing?

  • Six is a 10!

by Mrs. R on 8/10/22The National Theatre - WashingtonRating: 5 out of 5

Another win for musical history, excuse me "herstory"! Nothing but positive energy and amazing performances. Definitely deserved a Tony and the touring cast was amazing!

  • Six was AWESOME

by SM on 8/10/22The National Theatre - WashingtonRating: 5 out of 5

We saw Six on Broadway in Oct 2022 after covid closures had just eased up and it was excellent. Seeing it at The National Theater was as good or better than on Broadway. The talent was phenomenal and I swear Aragon blew my mind. They were all amazing. Very happy we saw it again.

  • Incredible

by Mimi on 8/10/22The National Theatre - WashingtonRating: 5 out of 5

Absolute perfection. My daughter and I were dancing in our seat the whole time! A must see!

  • Fantastically Fun

by Ann on 8/9/22The National Theatre - WashingtonRating: 5 out of 5

Six is wonderful! It’s like going to a concert, seeing all your favorite ladies, remembering the facts/stories of Henry’s wives, and seeing it from a different perspective. It is fabulously fun, and I’d see it again if I had the chance!

  • Royally Resplendant

by Colonist on 8/9/22The National Theatre - WashingtonRating: 5 out of 5

Absolutely everything was on stage in Six The Musical about the 6 wives of Henry VIII. Not a single fact, thought, or interpretation was left out. Not to mention the Ladies portraing the Queens accompanied by their entirely female stage band were positively, magnificently, entirely, the most talented individuals ever to grace a stage be it individually or as a group. Add to that the experience of a fine theatre with convenient elevator access to my seat, restrooms and parking. The whole day was practically perfect in all apects. My highest accolades, it was an afternoon well spent.

I took my daughter, and we both loved the musical. She may take her friends.

  • Fantastic

by HCO on 8/9/22The National Theatre - WashingtonRating: 5 out of 5

Six is super fun uplifting and fabulous show! I have seen it two times already and would see it a third time!

  • Very Disappointing

by David on 8/9/22The National Theatre - WashingtonRating: 1 out of 5

Very talented singers/performers, however this was NOT a Play nor a Broadway Show. It was a meaningless 'concert' for teeny boppers.
