About

Canadian punk rockers Simple Plan are a Vans Warped Tour staple, having played there every summer from 1999 to 2005. In 2011, Simple Plan joined the Warped Tour once again treating ticket buyers to high-energy live concerts anchored by hits like "I'm Just a Kid," "I'll Do Anything," and "Shut Up!" The band's show has been recorded on two separate live albums: "Live in Japan 2002," during their sold out run there, and "MTV Hard Rock Live." Simple Plan returned with their fifth studio album "Get Your Head On!" in 2013, and it includes guest appearances from Mark Hoppus  of Blink 182 and Joel Madden of Good Charlotte.

Simple Plan is composed of childhood friends who got together in the early '90s under the moniker Reset before changing names and releasing their debut, "No Pads, No Helmets...Just Balls," in 2002. The Canadian rockers have won numerous awards at the MuchMusic Awards, Juno Awards, Teen Choice Awards and NRJ Music Awards. The band is also active in charitable efforts, such as MTV Asia Aid, MADD, RAAADD and Make-A-Wish Foundation, and launched their own non-profit in 2005 that focuses on teen problems like suicide and drug addiction. Simple Plan is a band that has survived nearly fifteen years of recording and touring in an industry not known for longevity. The group continues to do it with fantastic live sets and philanthropy.

This show was easily one of the best concerts of our summer right up there with our princess Avril Lavigne! Simple Plan, Bowling for Soup, 3OH!3, and LØLØ absolutely crushed it. The energy, the nostalgia, and the pure fun of the night were unmatched. Every band brought their own vibe, and together it made for a nonstop party from start to finish. The crowd was singing, dancing, and having the best time, and we were right there with them. This lineup is now officially on our “if they’re touring close, we will always go see them” list. 10/10 recommend if you want an unforgettable night of music and memories!

They were amazing in every single way from the rocking awesome songs, sad feeling songs, and a very wholesome demeanor. Wonderful people.

A great show! He played the keyboard for my favorite song, Untitled, raised above the crowd. It was right in front of us and we LOVED it!

  • Worth the drive

by Ashmcg on 9/10/25The Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory - IrvingRating: 5 out of 5

Drove over 5 hours to see the show to a venue I’ve never been. Facilities were clean and food was decent. Grass was a bit muddy but was expected. However. The show was awesome! Very entertaining, lots of effects used (lights, piro, smoke, confetti, props, and video backgrounds) Band engaged with the audience, keep energy going and sounded great! Crowd had fun, security was present and the nostalgia from seeing a band that’s been on the list for decades is unbeatable. Good times! Got to sing along, rock out a bit, and went home with some hecka tight merch. I’d def do it again. Sweet concert!

  • Great concert!

All the performers did a great job, and Simple Plan put on as awesome of a show as expected. Their set looked amazing, they were funny, and they sound exactly as they did on the record 25 years ago (if not even a little better!). The venue did a nice job taking care of everyone as well since there were some rowdy/drunk people.

The show was so much fun, looked and sounded great! The breaks between band also wasn't super long which is always nice.
