About

Canadian punk rockers Simple Plan are a Vans Warped Tour staple, having played there every summer from 1999 to 2005. In 2011, Simple Plan joined the Warped Tour once again treating ticket buyers to high-energy live concerts anchored by hits like "I'm Just a Kid," "I'll Do Anything," and "Shut Up!" The band's show has been recorded on two separate live albums: "Live in Japan 2002," during their sold out run there, and "MTV Hard Rock Live." Simple Plan returned with their fifth studio album "Get Your Head On!" in 2013, and it includes guest appearances from Mark Hoppus  of Blink 182 and Joel Madden of Good Charlotte.

Simple Plan is composed of childhood friends who got together in the early '90s under the moniker Reset before changing names and releasing their debut, "No Pads, No Helmets...Just Balls," in 2002. The Canadian rockers have won numerous awards at the MuchMusic Awards, Juno Awards, Teen Choice Awards and NRJ Music Awards. The band is also active in charitable efforts, such as MTV Asia Aid, MADD, RAAADD and Make-A-Wish Foundation, and launched their own non-profit in 2005 that focuses on teen problems like suicide and drug addiction. Simple Plan is a band that has survived nearly fifteen years of recording and touring in an industry not known for longevity. The group continues to do it with fantastic live sets and philanthropy.

    Worth The Wait!!

    by A. A. on 8/27/22

Simple Plan literally saved my life as a teenager and I have tried to see them 4 different times in 20 years and something always came up and I couldn’t go. But last night I got to see them live for the first time and hear them play the first song that ever saved my life and the first song I ever connected to on a deeper level on a rooftop in Manhattan and it was perfect!! I felt the nostalgia and angst all over again at 33!! Sum 41 was also a nice bonus I’ve been obsessed with Fat Lip and Still Waiting since the TRL days

by Bret K on 8/17/22Knitting Factory Concert House - Spokane - Spokane

First concert I have been to since before Covid and THAT WAS AMAZING!!! The energy was amazing through it all! I might have gone two octaves lower due to screaming so much, but it was worth it!

    Absolutely Amazing!

by Netty on 8/16/22Ace of Spades - Sacramento

This was the first time that I visited the Ace of Spades venue but I was overall very pleased. They had an abundance of bars so the wait for a drink was basically non existent, even though the show was sold out. The show was INCREDIBLE from the opening band (who I've never heard of before) to Sum 41 all the way through to Simple Plan's performance. I would 10/10 go to another one of their shows in a heartbeat! The nostalgia was so real and brought back so many memories from when I went to my very first concert (when Simple Plan was still just an opener). I hope they come back to Sacramento soon!

    Such a great show

by Chelsea on 8/9/22House of Blues Anaheim - Anaheim

This was an amazing line up and I had so much fun reliving my best memories from some of my favorite early 2000s bands. My only complaint was that there were way too many people there. They said the show was sold out but it felt like it was over the allowed max capacity.

Simple Plan was really good, but Sum 41 was better.

by Undertrader on 8/9/22House of Blues Anaheim - Anaheim

All in all, a really great and fun show. It appears Simple Plan and Sum 41 trade off headlining, which is fair enough. I'm more a metal guy, so I preferred Sum 41, but Simple Plan is really, really fun and good pop punk and they sounded great.

Simple Plan is my favorite band and they did not disappoint on their current tour with Sum 41 and Magnolia Park. So many great songs and awesome energy from the band! Sum 41 was awesome, too!

    Great concert and great venue

by Lisa on 8/3/22House of Blues Houston - Houston

Simple Plan, Sum 41 and Magnolia Park put on a fantastic show! Magnolia Park was an excellent choice for an opening act. The co-headliners had great sets and kept the crowd’s energy up. I was most impressed by the venue: how seamless it was to enter the venue, how safe it felt, the ample signage for food, bathrooms, seating, etc., the ease of ordering food and drinks, the respect shown by the staff…the venue was a well-run machine, and it made the concert that much more enjoyable. The only thing I think can be improved is more than one stand for food (perhaps one in the balcony would be great). Otherwise, awesome venue, staff and show!

First time ever seeing them live and I'm very happy to have gone and just enjoy the evening. The concert was great and the people who went to see the concert were nice, at least the ones i met! I would love to see them live again in the future.

From beginning to end the concert was amazing. Very organized, very clean, the bands of course were beyond expectation ❤️ I would definitely go to the same even at the place again

    It was a great experience.

by Christian on 5/30/22Orpheum Theater - New Orleans

I enjoyed watching two bands I grew up listening to. The only thing I think could have been a little better is the low end in the venue but idk if they can really do anything about that in the seated area.

    Not fair

by Angel on 5/28/22Seminole Hard Rock Tampa Event Center - Tampa

I am a big fan of sum 41 since I was 12 years old and a big fan of simple plan since I was 13 years old, I was really excited when they announced a tour together, I purchased a ticket to be in the first row(the pit). It was a week before the concert when I found out you have to be more than 21 years old to be allowed at the concert, I was really disappointed, I tried to se my ticket but I wasn’t able to. Knowing that the there was a big amount of fan that weren’t able to attend the concert because of this.
