Canadian punk rockers Simple Plan are a Vans Warped Tour staple, having played there every summer from 1999 to 2005. In 2011, Simple Plan joined the Warped Tour once again treating ticket buyers to high-energy live concerts anchored by hits like "I'm Just a Kid," "I'll Do Anything," and "Shut Up!" The band's show has been recorded on two separate live albums: "Live in Japan 2002," during their sold out run there, and "MTV Hard Rock Live." Simple Plan returned with their fifth studio album "Get Your Head On!" in 2013, and it includes guest appearances from Mark Hoppus of Blink 182 and Joel Madden of Good Charlotte.
Simple Plan is composed of childhood friends who got together in the early '90s under the moniker Reset before changing names and releasing their debut, "No Pads, No Helmets...Just Balls," in 2002. The Canadian rockers have won numerous awards at the MuchMusic Awards, Juno Awards, Teen Choice Awards and NRJ Music Awards. The band is also active in charitable efforts, such as MTV Asia Aid, MADD, RAAADD and Make-A-Wish Foundation, and launched their own non-profit in 2005 that focuses on teen problems like suicide and drug addiction. Simple Plan is a band that has survived nearly fifteen years of recording and touring in an industry not known for longevity. The group continues to do it with fantastic live sets and philanthropy.
It was an amazing concert. I love everything. I would love to watch them again. They are truly talented.
As a long-time fan of Simple Plan, I have been waiting for over a decade for an opportunity to see Simple Plan perform live in Chicago. It was definitely worth the wait! Simple Plan has grown so much as a band. They sound the same if not better than they do on their albums, and they know how to interact with the audience and keep the energy going. Their set list had plenty of old and new music for all fans to enjoy. I especially liked that they performed a medley of songs from their older albums! I'm also a long-time fan of Scooby Doo, so I was super excited to see them perform the "What's New Scooby Doo"theme song and welcome all the cosplayers on stage. As added bonuses: the light show really added to their performance, the beach balls during "Summer Paradise"were a lot of fun, and I appreciated them welcoming Lolo and Bowling for Soup back onstage to perform certain songs together. All in all, I had a great time watching Simple Plan perform. Thank you, Simple Plan, for keeping me a kid at heart and making my life less of a nightmare!
Amazing show. Me and the wife brought our 11 yr old daughter and she had an absolute blast.
Better audio than other venues I have been to. Only bad thing is people smoking in seats and in lawn. They should have a designated smoking area.
The atmosphere was great. All the bands had the crowd going. Will be watching out for another tour
Simple plan has literally saved my husband's life. This was his first concert. The show was amazing and loved how they interacted with us the audience! We truly enjoyed it! Thank you for coming to atl.
Simple Plan is just an amazing band and amazing human beings. They are so kind to the audience. The nicest guys ever. And their music is just the best!!
Wow. My first rock/ pop rock show and I was in love. The sets: the opening acts. Everything was perfect. A show was put on and I felt the nostalgia and good vibes in the air! Thank you simple plan!
Loved the venue. The acts were fantastic. Would have preferred less “pumping up the crowd.” Just play the music. We aren’t really together at a party. ;) Favorite was Bowling For Soup! Enjoyed very much. Let’s keep America punk rock!
So fun at this concert! Thank you so much on a show put it on a great show!
Amazing all around. Bowling For Soup was so good and hilarious. 3OH3 reminded me of jamming out in middle school. LOLO was new to me, but she's been added to the Playlist rotation. Simple Plan was great. I laughed, I danced, I cried, I saw a proposal. I left speechless. Wish they wouldn't have started so late so they could have done the whole set. I missed hearing This Song Saved My Life live and that would have been a memory I would have kept forever. Hopefully this is not the first and last time I see any of these bands.
Simple Plan was great to see live. I've been a fan since the beginning and seeing them in a rather intimate setting like BMO Pavilion was great!
This concert was spectacular. LØLØ, 3Oh!3, and Bowling for Soup were amazing as well. Im so glad I could be part of this experience and I hope I get to see them again in the future.
The venue was great, the vibes were great, and the show was great. It ran smoothly, all the bands sounded great, and the atmosphere was happy. Sometimes concerts can have people on edge but couldnt complain.
We had literally so much fun! All the bands were fantastic. It felt like jamming out in 2005. The venue was a little (by a little I mean a lot) pricey on drinks and food. But it was a great experience and great time.
Simple Plan always puts on a great show. It is fun meeting them before the show. Really nice guys.
All the bands were awesome and everyone seemed to have a great time. The place that the event was at was amazing and treated everyone amazing, free water and free reusable cups and it was awesome, loved every bit of it.☺️💕
Everything about this show was amazing. Simple Plan, LoLo, BFS & 3Oh!3 were nothing short of spectacular. I have never been to the venue Skyline at the Mann, and it was wonderful. Easy to enter, easy and flawless to leave. 10/10 would recommend
The venue was great with easy entry, good parking that was super easy to get out of at the end of the night, and great, friendly employees everywhere! The show was great! Smooth transitions, great bands, overall a wonderful evening.
We did the vip experience and got to meet the guys. They're so nice, and awesome!! My 10 year old son said it was the best day of his life!!! Concert was absolutely insane!!! Loved it!!!!
