Catching Shin Lim in the act is unlike watching any other magician perform. Instead of making people disappear or sawing them in half, he simply concentrates on card tricks. But he raises the level of his sleight of hand with a deck of cards to a fine art.
There's drama, music, and a kind of a ballet to Lim's magic. Shin Lim Background
Born in Vancouver to Singaporean parents and raised in Massachusetts, Shin Lim had two passions in his youth: music and magic. He was studying music in college when he learned that he was suffering from carpal tunnel syndrome. This discovery caused him to abandon playing the piano in favor of becoming a professional magician.
He got one of his first big breaks when he was given the chance to tour in China. Since he didn't speak the language, he kept silent during his tricks, and that practice became a signature of his shows. Bringing a bold, unprecedented artistry to the realm of card tricks, Lim really began to hit it big when he worked his magic on TV's Penn & Teller: Fool Us in 2015. The performance became a social media sensation that elevated his profile dramatically. Since then, he's frequently appeared on TV, twice becoming a winner on America's Got Talent. And he tours widely, taking his illusions everywhere from Las Vegas to Broadway.
This show limitless was great especially along with Colin Cloud it was a very entertaining and fast paced show. It seemed like it was over way too quickly but left you amazed and wanting to see more. Great show would go see it again, loved the audience participation in the show.
Great show for all ages featuring playing cards. Also featured Colin Cloud mentalist. They've worked together for 14 years and alternated on stage time. A lot of audience participation and thoroughly entertaining! We definitely would go see them again!!!
He and his sidekick are both amazing. So glad we picked this while in Vegas
We had a great time and loved the show. Having two magicians makes the show more interesting; we really liked the variety. Definitely a few jaw-dropping moments. I spent way too much time reading reviews of all the other options for entertainment and have no regrets that we decided to see Shin Lim.
My wife and I really enjoyed the Shin.Lim Limitless show. Shin Lin’s sleight of hand and close-up card tricks are excellent and we liked the fact that he does the act with Colin Cloud who help balance the show. Colin is a mentalist and also very funny so they play well off of each other.
Shin Lim is so fascinating to watch because his cards disappear literally before your eyes. Never get tired of his expertise. But have to give Colin Cloud his due…also mesmerizing and good rapport with the audience.
The card acts got boring after awhile. Shin Lim was not a very good entertainer in between his acts. The second magician (Cloud) was much more entertaining.
The show is incredible. If you like close-up magic I strongly recommend it.
This show is nothing short of miraculous. Will keep you on the edge of your seat and interested the whole time.

The show was awesome & entertaining. I would suggest not buying the outside end seats definitely get in the middle. I felt like I missed a lot of stage presence because could not see the back 3rd of stage.
This is by far the best magic show in Las Vegas! Second to none, everyone was leaving the theater in amazement and enjoyment.

after seeing him on americas got talent and seeing reviews was really looking forward to show. I was extremely disappointed! thought it was very dull and not exciting at all.
