Catching Shin Lim in the act is unlike watching any other magician perform. Instead of making people disappear or sawing them in half, he simply concentrates on card tricks. But he raises the level of his sleight of hand with a deck of cards to a fine art.
There's drama, music, and a kind of a ballet to Lim's magic. And he's known for performing his illusions without uttering a word, letting his hands and his cards do all the talking while his carefully curated music — Lim started out as a musician — tickles the audience's ears. Shin Lim Background
Born in Vancouver to Singaporean parents and raised in Massachusetts, Shin Lim had two passions in his youth: music and magic. He was studying music in college when he learned that he was suffering from carpal tunnel syndrome. This discovery caused him to abandon playing the piano in favor of becoming a professional magician.
He got one of his first big breaks when he was given the chance to tour in China. Since he didn't speak the language, he kept silent during his tricks, and that practice became a signature of his shows. Bringing a bold, unprecedented artistry to the realm of card tricks, Lim really began to hit it big when he worked his magic on TV's Penn & Teller: Fool Us in 2015. The performance became a social media sensation that elevated his profile dramatically. Since then, he's frequently appeared on TV, twice becoming a winner on America's Got Talent. And he tours widely, taking his illusions everywhere from Las Vegas to Broadway.
Shin Lim is remarkable. Besides being a great sleight of hand magician he is also a mesmerizing entertainer. The venue was great. The mentalist and Shin’s wife all worked together to make our night memorable. I wished the show would never end. Great job!
We were blown away by the magic tricks in Shin Lim’s Limitless show. We saw cards change in front of our eyes, items disappear into a tabletop, cards turn into confetti. Lots of audience participation including a trick in which everyone participates. The tricks are live-streamed onto a screen so we saw everything despite being seated in the last row. It’s nice that there is a story to the whole performance, not just a series of tricks. There are also performances by Spidey the mentalist that left the audience flabbergasted and Lim’s wife Casey who does beautiful aerial card tricks so lots of variety during the show. 10/10 would recommend!

There's no way you can make things disappear and reappear out of thin air the way Shin Lim does without possessing actual magical powers. This guy is incredibly talented. The show was entertaining from beginning to end.
You can only appreciate so many card tricks. Got tiresome after a bit. The mentalist was amazing!
We loved the show. Everything was almost perfect. Shin is a great magician with very fast and skillful hands. We wish we could get closer to see his actions instead of watching on screen.

This was the best Eagles ever I have been to a lot of Eagles concert and for none this was the bestest one. This is I second Eagles concert in the Sphere with a new different experience which is awesome. I would like to see them again maybe in October at the SPHERE! awesome awesome concert!!!!
My adult son and I absolutely blown away by this show. Every “trick” was amazing and the audience participation was incredible. Highly recommend to everyone. Every seat has an awesome view. You won’t be disappointed!! Thanks Shin Lim and everyone involved!

I've been a huge fan of Shin Lim since AGT. So of course, my recent trip to Las Vegas had to include seeing him. Now at The Venetian, Shin Lim is the ultimate performer with his peaceful demeanor and inclusion of the audience during his magical portrayal of his life story. The last part of the show had a beautiful surprise that made my heart happy. It's truly some amazing entertainment!

Shin Lim show was not what I expected. I thought he would be performing for the whole show. There was another magician (mind reader) and an aerialist/card trick ( his wife) that performed in between Shin Lim. I feel his performance was only 30 minutes of the 90 minute show.
