Catching Shin Lim in the act is unlike watching any other magician perform. Instead of making people disappear or sawing them in half, he simply concentrates on card tricks. But he raises the level of his sleight of hand with a deck of cards to a fine art.

Shin Lim Background
Born in Vancouver to Singaporean parents and raised in Massachusetts, Shin Lim had two passions in his youth: music and magic. He was studying music in college when he learned that he was suffering from carpal tunnel syndrome. This discovery caused him to abandon playing the piano in favor of becoming a professional magician.
He got one of his first big breaks when he was given the chance to tour in China. Since he didn't speak the language, he kept silent during his tricks, and that practice became a signature of his shows. Bringing a bold, unprecedented artistry to the realm of card tricks, Lim really began to hit it big when he worked his magic on TV's Penn & Teller: Fool Us in 2015. The performance became a social media sensation that elevated his profile dramatically. Since then, he's frequently appeared on TV, twice becoming a winner on America's Got Talent. And he tours widely, taking his illusions everywhere from Las Vegas to Broadway.
I had no expectation for the show as I had not seen a performance on AGT. I found the mind reading MC unsettling and inappropriate and ShinLim a bit odd, almost depressed. The slight of hands were incredible, the tricks fascinating, it just felt weird being there.
Shin Lim and the rest of the members in his show were spot on. They amazed us with their magic, kept us amused with their humor and stories, and stunned us with their talents. Truly a night we will talk about for days and months to come.

Shim Lin Limitless should not be missed if you go to Las Vegas. He is the best slight-of-hand magician ever! We totally enjoyed the format of the show and he "wowed"us many times.
Shin Lim is a MASTER of sleight of hand. His life story of getting into magic is told through a series of mostly card tricks and some of them are simply jaw droppingly baffling as to how they’re pulled off. His co-host/narrator is also very funny and adds an extra special touch to the show. My only complaint is that most of the tricks are simply card tricks in one form or another so it’s slightly one-note even if they are VERY impressive feats. The acrobatic display from his wife is the one real change of pace which was welcome. Overall the show was entertaining and I recommend this act to anyone that enjoys the wonder of having your eyes deceived many times over the course of 90 minutes.
This is the second time we have seen Shin Lim and had the meet and greet experience. Our grown daughter was unable to come with us in 2024 so we HAD to take her this year. We saw him when he was on AGT, voted for him and just knew he would win before he did. This time I was asked to come up on stage and it was so different.....I was not nervous at all. I have a memory that no one will ever be able to take away from me or my husband and grown daughter seeing me up there. Being so close to him on the stage I tried so hard to watch his hands and see how he did "His Magic,"but was very unsuccessful. Everyone needs to go to his show; he is so entertaining, kind, and we never want the show to end. This time we got another wonderful treat; he wife was on the show with him. That made the show perfect! So happy we were able to see him again and had front row - center seats! Just amazing!
I have been wanting to see Shin Lim for a long time and he did not disappoint! The show was mesmerizing and I am still asking myself "How did he do that!"The best magician and a MUST SEE if you are in Vegas.
So brilliant! And much more personable and funny than I even expected. And Stuart Macleod was an amazing contrast to Shin Lim’s style. Worth every penny. Big PLUS—the entire staff—ushers, bartenders, ticketing—at the venue is top-tier! Bravi tutti!
Shin Lim didn't disappoint! Magic kept building with a grande finale. Full of over the top story telling and amazing slight of hand! Would definitly recommend.

Really a great show where Shin Lin engaged the audience for over 90 minutes. Seemed like you where there for 10 minutes.

If you loved his act on AGT, you will love this production. I enjoyed being towards the front of the theater to watch the card tricks directly or on the monitor. The audience participation between Shin and his supporting cast was very entertaining. Highly recommend if you are in Vegas.
