Loved it Great talent beautifully displayed very entertaining

I have been wanting to see this show for several years. Finally went. Beautiful costumes Medium level dance technique- but advanced for most Atlanta standards. Nice choreography but dancers had no feeling in movement I didn’t like the people talking in between every act Very good opera singing Very good instrument players- piano and a Chinese instrument. The Chinese instrument was the best performance. Unfortunately that was only one act. Overall. Not worth the cost. Don’t think I would go again.

Everyone young and old should make an effort to go see it!

I have been trying to see this show for 5 years so my expectations were quite high. finally I got to go and was so very excited I could hardly wait for the show to start. When I sat down and was ready to be amaze I was truly disappointed. I gave up going to another function and wish I had not. The show was ok but not what I had expected.

This show was absolutely fantastic! The vibrant costumes the beautiful dancing, everything was just lovely.

From the start of the show, we were amazed by the vibrant colors of the set and costumes. The skill of the performers was amazing and the integration of the background was a technical masterpiece. The story telling enhanced the performance by telling what the next scene was depicting.

Fantastic show! The performers are incredibly talented. The music and orchestra world-class. The sets and special visual effects excellently done. The cultural message educational, touching and inspiring. One of the best shows we have ever attended.

I would have liked the cultural experience without the extreme religiosity

My family and I enjoyed the dances, soprano and baritone. Wonderful show from the beginning to the end. Hope the band comes back next year in our city.

The show was ok. We had a bad experience with our seating. We had a group of 8 people ( 4 four couples) we had bought 8 tickets all together. When we got to the event they would not allow us to sit together. They informed us that that area for the tickets we purchased was not available. We were separated as a group. All the ladies went together and all the men had to sit in a different section.

Fantastic, inspiring show. I highly recommend it to everyone.

The performers are top in their profession. They work hard. The presentation was fantastic. A delightful stage concept that filled the stage but allowed the performers all the room they needed to dance and act. If you can sit lower than the balcony, but even from there the view was wonderful.

Beautifully brilliant costumes. Amazingly talented performers. And the story behind Shen Yun's mission! I was educated and entertained. And humbled by the dedication, training, and commitment required to make such a performance happen.

My husband and I loved the show in Savannah and I will buy tickets for my daughter for her birthday to view in Charleston.

I really enjoyed this show. It was one of the best ones I have ever seen. The dancing is very very good. Well worth the price of the tickets!

I was disappointed to know that we spent 150.00 a ticket but we could have see the stage nicely from any seat in the small room. Way too expensive for just dancing with lots of colors. A “ok” show. Expected way more singing, musical aspects for the price. I would have paid 40.00 but would never pay 150.00 again to see the show. It was a nice evening out with family but left before it was over.

We loved the concept of telling Chinese stories through traditional music and dance. The use of the big screen as a backdrop was interesting and added to each story with color, movement and character development. It logistically made sense as well, avoiding multiple sets that would have required time to tear down and reset for each number. But the best aspect was the dancers - they were perfection, never missing a step and totally in sync! Costumes were beautiful and added to the illusion that the dancers were floating across the stage. The orchestra and solo performers were also fabulous and added nice variation to the show. The only disappointment (one star downgrade) was that there weren't enough programs. We arrived early and were seated 15 minutes prior to start of show, and already there were no more programs available. Printing enough seems like a no brainer. Please in the future, make sure everyone in the audience who requests a program can get one; we love to read the summary of each act and learn about everyone involved in the show. And the printed program gives all participants the recognition they deserve (as well as the advertisers who support the show). All in all, we loved Shen Yun and will recommend it to others.
