Shelby is a mesmerizing performer. She was more subdued tonight but no less exceptional. There's no categorizing Shelby! If see her, you won't be disappointed.

Shelby related great with the audience.
by 1326mickey on 1/19/1220th Century Theater - CincinnatiRating: 4 out of 5Shelby put on a great performance. You could see that she felt comfortable with the audience - she was relaxed and her voice was fantastic. She is very talented. It was hard to believe how quickly the time went by. We totally enjoyed the evening and liked the setting. I would go again.

This was a fantastic performance. I loved the chance to see Shelby perform by herself. I could actually hear the singer over the music. I so hope to see her again back in Cincinnati.
Shelvis, Droppin' Dreams on Us
by Philbert61 on 1/19/1220th Century Theater - CincinnatiRating: 4 out of 5This was my third time seeing Shelby Lynne, the second time on the current tour. Each performances has been first rate. She's a captivating performer. Her songwriting is mature, and her vocal phrasing and dynamics are impressive. At this show, she seemed more serene and relaxed than on the previous occasions, which only added to my enjoyment. She signed autographs and posed for pictures after the show, which was a special treat.
Pure Shelby
by kkoefler on 1/19/1220th Century Theater - CincinnatiRating: 5 out of 5An incredible 1 1/2 hour performance by Shelby Lynne. The 20th Century Theater was the perfect venue for her acoustic guitar playing and hugely talented singer/song writer skills. think she was as much captivated by the enthusiastic audience as we were enthralled by her performance.
Shelby's booming voice never ceases to amaze !!!
by galup on 1/19/1220th Century Theater - CincinnatiRating: 5 out of 5General admission seating? No problem for a real fan! Not the first one through the door, but had first pick of the seating since I had purchased my ticket in advance !!! Planted myself front and center for an amazing evening! Singer, songwriter, instrumentalist, etc....Not too many performers with the array of talent Shelby continues to display after 20+ years on the scene. Still have my autographed picture from her Country debut in Oklahoma City in the late 80's. Oh, and it was all acoustic !!! YUM !!! Glad I finally found a venue to catch back up with her. I'll be keeping my eyes and ears open for another showing.

Unbelievable voice and that woman can play guitar. Enjoyable time.
Loved, Shelby!
by rosesandlavender on 1/19/1220th Century Theater - CincinnatiRating: 4 out of 5Shelby Lynne played the 20th Century in Oakley Tuesday night. She played by herself, with no other accompaniment except her guitars, 2 beers, a mike and her marvelous voice.
sweet and sexy Shelby
by firefightertim on 1/16/12Folly Theater - Kansas CityRating: 4 out of 5Time stopped for a few hours as Shelby Lynne shared her passion and her talent for a near sold-out crowd Sat at the Folly Theater. From her newest songs off of Redemption Road to her familiar tunes from her classic I am Shelby Lynne, she mesmerized and radiated as a lone light on the stage.
Shelby Lynne
by HappyRocker68 on 1/15/12Folly Theater - Kansas CityRating: 4 out of 5Great show! Shelby was onstage by herself for almost two hours. Love her voice and that girl can pick guitar. The Folly was a wonderful venue. We were up in the balcony but the acoustics were so good it was like we were sitting right up front. Enjoyed Bill Shapiro before the show too. In fact, probably would not have been there if not for his show, Cyprus Avenue on KCUR.
Shelby always comes through
by JoeMiddleFinger on 1/15/12Folly Theater - Kansas CityRating: 5 out of 5This was the 10th time that I have seen Shelby Lynne, and it was the most reserved audience I have ever seen at her shows. Granted, the show was put on by NPR, and the audience reflected that. The Foley Theater was architectually an amazing venue. The acoustical qualities of the theater carried her voice very well, although the guitar amps did seem a bit low. Shelby pulled off a great show none-the-less. It goes to show the talent that comes from years of hard work. How such a powerful voice can come from from someone so little astonishes me every time. All said, it was a great show, though very reserved. If you get a chance to see her in a music bar, especially down south, i.e. Nashville, Birmingham, Atlanta, go to the show. You will not be disappointed. The southern venues attract some very active audiences that Shelby plays off of very well.
Stunning voice
by Russ2 on 1/15/12Lyric Theater - Kansas CityRating: 5 out of 5No introduction, nobody else on the stage, no fancy lighting, she just walks out and starts signing in the most controlled voice I have ever heard. Each note, each lyric seems to have been worked on, massaged, crafted until it is perfect to her. The most precise guitar strumming, chords, and volume that fits perfectly to her voice and the lyrics. No "throw away" notes or lyrics here---everything she did was necessary. Lyric Theater sound was great as usual.
Amazing once again
by SAinVA on 11/18/11Birchmere - AlexandriaRating: 5 out of 5This was my third time seeing Shelby at the Birchmere. This time it was only Shelby and her guitar, and it was just as good as the previous two shows (with additional musicians). I think she's sounding better, her writing is just as good, and the way her voice can fill a room is amazing. She also did a meet-and-greet and it was an honor to finally meet her.
She killed it!!!!!
by Truth77 on 11/13/11Birchmere - AlexandriaRating: 5 out of 5I've seen Shelby Lynne a number of times before, but always with a band -- amazing that at the Birchmere this time it was just Shelby, that incredible voice, accompanying herself on acoustic guitars... She totally nailed that show -- awesome display of both vocal and guitar skills, it was a gift to her fans...
Shelby Lynne~ as always, incredible!!!
by LGM16 on 11/11/11Birchmere - AlexandriaRating: 5 out of 5Shelby is an incredible songwriter who has the most beautiful voice and guitar skills. Why we do not hear more of her on the radio, I don't know. Tuesday's concert, at the Birchmere was, was amazing. Love getting to meet her after the concert, as well!
Fantastic show by two fantastic musicians!
by DeanaDC on 12/9/10Birchmere - AlexandriaRating: 5 out of 5Allison Moorer and Shelby Lynne were in fabulous form at The Birchmere! If you're a fan of either (or both), this was the show to catch. Just amazing!
side by side tour
by bamabreeze74 on 12/7/10Saenger Theatre Mobile - MobileRating: 5 out of 5Two sisters with just acoustic guitars,a piano and two fabulous voices.Best concert I've seen in years!!
Shelby & Allison together at last
by seeker5 on 12/6/10Birchmere - AlexandriaRating: 5 out of 5We have attended many Shelby and Allison's solo concerts at the Birchmere but seeing them together was amazing. The concert felt like sitting in their living room listening to them share stories and songs with us. We can't wait for another joint concert! Our only regret is that we didn't come both nights.
AWESOME! FULL OF SISTERLY LOVE AND TALENT
by KarenAD on 12/6/10Saenger Theatre Mobile - MobileRating: 5 out of 5We 250% enjoyed every minute of this fab show. The harmonies between the two was the best I've ever heard. Both had their own amazing sounds and styles. I was so impressed with the talent since only 2 guitars, one piano and harmonica was on the stage. The girls didn't even need instruments!!!!!!!!! PLEASE bring them back coz I'll be there again & again. I have told all I've seen since Sat. nite about their wonderful show. The love and comical stories of them as kids was just as entertaining as the music and we left feeling energized, happy, and bought every CD they had for sale that I do not already own. A memorable event for years to come, and I bought our tix the day they went on sale and NEVER THOUGHT 12/04 would ever arrive! SO Thanks sisters and thank God it was in the Saenger, the best and classiest place for such true talent. The heck with the CIvic Center, too big, too impersonal and the accoustics do not even compare. I LOVE SHELBY AND ALLISON! Always will, and even tho I'd never seen them together, would love to have them make more albums together. How blessed AL is to have such true talent. Finally a reason to be proud of being an AL. native, never much cared for it before but with these 2 greats I am now!
Side by Side AMAZING
by SeaRay12 on 12/6/10Saenger Theatre Mobile - MobileRating: 5 out of 5What a performance by the south Alabama natives and sisters. I felt in in my soul. Their voices blended so beautifully together. I spent 90 minutes being mesmerized by thier voices!
