For the first half of the show, she played her new album "I Can't Imagine" in order. During the first song or two, it did very little for me, however, it really picked up from there, with great Allmanesque guitar solos, rockers, ballads, whatever, and was actually more interesting to me than the second half. She is one of the few artists who can hold the crowd in her hand as she winds down a slower number to a whisper the way Van Morrison can, with her patented arms extending out in a Christ-like fashion. She ended the first half with a rousing version of "Your Lies" from the iconic album "I Am Shelby Lynne." For the second half, she played the balance of that album in order, with "Thought It Would Be Easier" among many highlights and she threw in some goodies at the end, where she received an extended, and well deserved, standing ovation.
