Jamaican-American rapper and singer Shaggy exploded on the music scene in 2001 with the smash single "It Wasn't Me" off the multi-platinum selling album Hot Shot. The album also featured the single, "Angel," and helped launch Shaggy into international stardom where tickets for his live act were a hot draw, including memorable concerts with Natalie, Cyndi Lauper, Rupee and Fay-Ann Lyons. In addition to touring the world, Shaggy has also performed at several high-profile events, including the opening ceremony of the inaugural Champions League Twenty20 and the closing ceremony of the 2009 IPL tournament in South Africa. Following the release of a new album in 2013, it's expected that Shaggy will tour again with fellow musicians. Blessed with a unique, stylistic voice and featuring dancing and Jamaican influences in his act, Shaggy has sold hundreds of thousands of tickets. Shaggy collaborated with producing duo Sly and Robbie for the release of his latest album, "Out of Many, One Music." The album features several guest appearances, including Ne-Yo, Damian Marley, Beres Hammond, Konshens and Jimmy Cozier. "Out of Many, One Music" features the lead single, "Fight This Feeling," in addition to "Make Up" and "She Gives Me Love." Collectively, Shaggy has produced 12 studio albums over his 20-year career.
Shaggy was born in Kingston, Jamaica, and lived there until his family relocated to Brooklyn. He enlisted in the US Marines, but music was his true passion. While serving in the military, he gained inspiration for his first hit, "Boombastic." It wasn't until 2000, though, when Shaggy became an international sensation with the multi-platinum selling "Hot Shot." The singer/rapper has captivated audiences over a long and productive career and will continue to entertain select stages across the globe in 2014.

Shaggy talked more than he was signing. It was a real disappointment.
Shaggy was fun. Venue was very unorganized. Didn’t seem to know where VIP should be. Told to move 3 times but security told us that’s where to be. Non VIP in with VIP so why pay extra money. Too hot for outdoor concert. Should have been misters and water around.
The pool at the Palms is a bad venue to see a concert unless you are willing to spend thousands of dollars to get a cabana or bottle service tables. If you don't there is no place to sit at all. Very limited view of the stage.
Shaggy did not disappoint. From start to finish the show was excellent. Great music. Great energy. Shaggy was his at his sultry best. I only have one question - when is he coming back to Toronto?!
We had a blast at the concert. The music was fire. The crowd was fun. The venue and sound quality were really good ($7 for tiny candies tho?!)
Outstanding concert. Shaggy is the consument performer. Excellent selection of songs including his new hit "Move:". So much fun! The venue (Sobeys Stadium) however rates only 1 star.. We purchased 2nd row seats and were really disappointed when they allowed 2 rows of people to stand inside of the barricade. Will definitely go to see Shaggy perform again but will not go to Sobey Stadium again!
Shaggy and 112 both did an amazing show! I was on my feet all night! Great performances all around, really entertaining.
Amazing show!!! I do wish Shaggy played more bits from his Hot Shot album, but either way this was an Incredible experience, so good that the time passed by way too fast! Would love to see him again if he ever does another show.
What an amazing show and nice time. Absolutely loved it ❤️ 😀
What a great show!! Shaggy puts on a great performance! Paired with his hypeman, he could get the crowd to do anything! I would see him again! The only complaint I have is the size of purse security was allowing through...too small. Majority of the crowd carried actual purses, not clutches.
Shaggy and 112 blew away all my expectations! I had a brilliant night with a lovely atmosphere!! Great start to my birthday thank you
It was an amazing night!! I loved having access to the VIP lounge! It was very clean and cool! (Since it was a humid night!)The staff were very friendly and helpful! 112 and Shaggy put on an amazing show!!! The energy was awesome! I loved how both acts made us involved in their show! 112 really took me back to my younger days!Shaggy was very entertaining and funny! Luckily, my friend and I were ble to take a picture with a member from 112 and that made my whole year!!!
Just simply amazing. 112 and Shaggy delivered. No disappointment whatsoever, I love everything about it. Thank you guys.
I enjoyed the concert. Nice veniew Sobeys stadium. 0ne 12 also good. Love it! Shaggy never change!
Haven't had any yet but when I do. I will keep you posted
I've been to 4 of his concerts. He's one of the best performers ever! The bass player rocks it as well.
Shaggy is a talented artist. The show was good but not excellent. I love his music, he has a lot of good jokes but the show was only for 1 hour and 20 minutes long (he was also 20 minutes late). This show was the shortest concert I have ever been to. I wish he had some backup dancers to show/educate the crowd how his cultural people dance to reggae/dancehall. Great music but the show needs to be longer.
It was amazing good we had such a good time .I would see it over and over a 100 times .I live shaggy badly.he goooooddd.
I had a blast at the show , the venue was intimate and spacious
