    Unprepared comics

by BeansyHam on 1/26/16Cobb's Comedy Club - San Francisco

I was looking forward to seeing all the comics who performed at this event since they are talented and have spent years in the business. Unfortunately, only 2 of them prepared actual material. Look, I love a good improvised set, but when Jeff Garlin comes onstage and talks about water and then jokes about how he prepared NOTHING. Kind of a slap in the face for the $40 ticket you bought. Zach Galifianakis was an awesome surprise and he was prepared. Other than that, seemed like a waste of my money. ALSO, no one notified me that Chelsea Peretti was no longer performing. She was top billed, and the main reason I bought my ticket. What gives?

Jackie Kashian one of the best comics in the biz

by ComicFangirl on 1/26/16Punch Line Comedy Club - San Francisco - San Francisco

Always guaranteed laughing out loud whenever Jackie Kashian is on stage. She is always in some of her best form when hosting a live version of her Dork Forest podcast. Interacting with another comic, actor, author, or other person of interest as they dork out about whatever things interest them the most is always fun and interesting. She asks great questions and the riffing that often results from their answers is hysterical. So glad she was a part of Sketchfest and I'd love to see her get booked to headline at the Punchline sometime

How Good Was The Event? Was It Good?Let's Find Out!

by zoeorzelda on 1/14/16Cobb's Comedy Club - San Francisco

It was really interesting and fun to hear about the background of the show BoJack Horseman. The panelists (actor Paul F Tompkins, creator Raphael Bob-Waksberg, supervising director Mike Hollingsworth, and designer Lisa Hanawalt) were hilarious and articulate (besides all the puns). It was also a nice surprise to have writer & actor Mara Wilson as the moderator. As always the staff at Cobb's were very nice and the (mandatory) drinks were good.

    Cheek and Ab workout

by Omarbrittle on 1/14/16Cobb's Comedy Club - San Francisco

My cheeks were hurting when I left I was smiling so much and laughing so hard. One of those shows you remember lines from long after and it makes you laugh out loud in the middle of the grocery store.

    ultimate crowd work rules

by butterball1111 on 1/12/16Cobb's Comedy Club - San Francisco

It was a cool surprise having Kevin McDonald & Dave Foley(Kids in the Hall)do a little 10 min. warm-up skit.I loved the show but if it was going to be the Ultimate Crowd Work show there should've been a mic for the crowd like in the last crowd work tour & I think Todd Barry should've gone on last instead of Big Jay Oakerson.I left after the first 10 min. of Big Jay's skit so I hope I didn't miss out on some killer finale where Todd came back out on stage or somethin'.But overall Barry's comedy is something not to be missed.I hope he's going to make this tour into a dvd but I didn't see anyone really filming anything. Since his style is to talk in a soft tone if people are talking loud around your area ,you'll miss out on one of his classic insights on the audience.

Everyone needs UYD in their lives!!

by Talaria on 1/12/16Cobb's Comedy Club - San Francisco

This was my fourth UYD show...three of those have been at Cobb's, and they just are never disappointing. I love the seating, the non-alcoholic drinks are great, and the show...I wish Seth and Jonathan were here at least once a month!!! Love them so much!!
