Ron Funches is a triple threat. He is an excellent stand-up comedian, actor and writer. You may know Ron from his many memorable television roles on The Goldbergs, Black•ish, New Girl, Transparent, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Powerless, Undateable or from films like Get Hard along side Will Farrell, Lexi, Noelle and 6 Underground. Ron loves animated television and film and has leant his voice to many projects like Dreamworks Trolls, Disney's Ivan The Great, Bob's Burgers, Adventure Time, Final Space and so many more. Some of his personal appearances include Conan, The Tonight Show, Match Game, To Tell The Truth, Chopped, Cupcake Wars and Nailed It. Ron is a great writer too. His writing credits include The Eric Andre Show, Kroll Show and several television pilots. Ron is also a pretty solid dad, husband and friend. He lives in Southern California with his wife and son.

    You know the Black guy every non Black person has? He writes jokes for them - that Black friend and the non Black people. The comic before him was not funny at all.

    Ron was incredible, in every way. His comedy was on point - as it always is! He was courteous, polite, friendly and respectful. He came out after the show to speak with and take pictures with everyone. He's ALWAYS SO GRACIOUS WITH HIS TIME AND ENERGY! For example, I attended the show with a friend, who had a little too much to drink. She was super drunk and was really handsy with Ron, hugging on him and grabbing him for a million pictures. She was super annoying and aggressive but Ron was a gentleman, the whole time. He was patient with her and didn't get annoyed, at all (even though everyone else standing around was). He took as many pictures with her as she demanded and was so kind to her, even though she was really aggressive with him, for his attention. I can't praise Ron enough for his patience, understanding and generosity in dealing with my friend. On top of that, he still spoke with everyone who wanted his attention and took pictures with everyone. Ron Funches is an absolute saint! Beyond that, he's a hilarious saint!

    One of the best comedy shows I’ve attended. Funches was funny. He made me laugh over and over again. Therapeutic laughter. I really appreciated the quality of the opening acts. The love and warmth displayed by Ron and his two fellow comedians for each other was palpable. Thanks for a memorable show.

    Mr Funches had two great openers. His set was everything we expected. Funny, honest and thoughtful; he is easily relatable to everyone.

    venue was ok. Show was amazing! Food was pretty basic stuff. Chicken wings were not good. French fries were. Drinks were over-priced and not good. Ron was hilarious and even the two comedians before him were good.

    Non-stop laughs is what you can expect when you go to see Mr. Funches. I first saw him in the underrated show Undateable a few years ago and just recently on the internet show Controlled Chaos but no matter what he appears in, he never fails to bring a smile to my face. I can't wait until the next time he's in the area so I can bring more people out to see him. 5/5
