  • Very confusing and probably last

by One and done on 2/26/25Frost Bank Center - San AntonioRating: 2 out of 5

It was unique experience. First, when you buy 20oz drink (soda) you can’t keep the lid. Rodeo rule apparently. Seats/stairs go at a very steep angle. Rodeo itself was just different, not going to say good or bad, just different. Format and pace was very mundane. Concert was only 5 songs from artist. Oh and get ready for drunks constantly getting up and down. Have to admit, one and done for me.

  • Well Worth the Cost

Dwight Yoakum came out and delivered an excellent show. He had the crowd up on their feet singing and dancing. What was best about the whole evening was when he and the band left the stage causing everyone to think the show was over, but they came back out to do an encore of Suspicious Minds. In all my time at a rodeo show, that's the first time anyone has done an encore.

Really loved the Rodeo!! I enjoyed all the competition and competitors. They did a great job!! The concert was amazing! Love the way Nate Smith played and sang. His truly an incredible artist. Wish him lots of success in his future endeavors.

The San Antonio Rodeo was more fun than I ever imagined! It was all the western, cowboy/girl experience there could be. Time flew by and I was sorry when it ended. I'll do it again, for sure.

The San Antonio Rodeo is a great experience! It was my 2nd time going. I took my 10-year old granddaughter, for the first time. She thoroughly enjoyed it. She came from Austin and upon leaving said "It was a really good trip!"If a 10 year-old says something is good, it's really good. Love all of the events, the clowns, and the continuity of the event. It's very well organized.

  • Confused by Parking

by StevenA on 2/24/25Frost Bank Center - San AntonioRating: 4 out of 5

The rodeo was fun, and we loved the Sammy Hagar concert. The only disappointment was the parking. Somehow, the ticket buying process confused me and I bought tickets for the silver lot (next to the Frost Bank Center) and the blue lot (a shuttle ride away). Our silver lot tickets said "red aisle,"so I entered the red lot and found a parking spot there. While walking to the building, we passed through the silver lot and passed by an aisle with red signs. That's where we should have parked. My mobile ticket didn't say "silver lot."It had a background picture of a gray door hanger. In retrospect, I realize that was a hint that I could park in the gray (or silver) area. I'll know better next year.

This was our first rodeo ever and we loved it! It was all amazing but our favorite had to be mutton bustin’.

  • Star Experience

When down in the tunnel waiting to enter the dirt, there needs to be better options for drinks. Having only beer and water is a miss. Even just adding a seltzer option would be better.
