The rodeo was great. The concert was beyond horrible. Practically everyone walked out. Entertainment choices are definitely going downhill at the San Antonio rodeo
Had a great time, large Saturday crowd was handled well both outside and inside the arena.
The people behind us were constantly yelling and sweating amongst one another. Having young kids with us we decided to leave before the show even started. These were extremely obnoxious and entitled college kids who shared their sense of decorum between all 6 of them. The situation was very uncomfortable and will likely keep us from ever attending another rodeo event here at home in San Antonio. Have a little more respect San Antonio, you're better than this.
My family and I had such a great time! The kids loved the fairgrounds and the animals. We loved watching the rodeo and Tyler Hubbard was amazing to close out the night.
I spent the day walking the grounds at San Antonio rodeo but was not very Excited about the daytime experience. The rodeo performance in the evening was really great however I think the grounds need improvement.
Beautiful weather, parking was good, rodeo and concert great ... only issue was with the lunch provided as part of the 'Rodeo Star Experience'. Looked wonderful, however it was impossible to cut the steak with the plastic knife provided, so none of us were able to eat it ... and sadly had to toss it!
I was given tickets to the ranch rodeo a few years ago. I had no idea of how entertaining I would be. I have not missed it since. We truly enjoy it.
Enter another day at the rodeo despite cold temperatures and a rainy day. Grounds were clean, staff friendly and entertainment great.
Its Rodeo time and Jon Pardi delivered. Ticketmaster made it super easy to get checked in. Awesone night, Great memory!
Rodeo and grounds are always a lot of fun. Just beware, cost to buy food, drinks will burn a whole in your wallet. Example, Corn Dog $21.
San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo is a great experience. The Rodeo is consistently voted in the "Best"categories all around and rightfully so. Great participants, respect for the animals, and plenty of ooh and aah moments. Tack on a concert at the end, and the experience is over the top. Sadly, many people leave mid-way through, simply to bet the traffic out of the venue. And the venue, Frost Bank Center is making the previous endorser look like a kid's lemonade stand. The quality of the food in the arena has increased substantially, the beverage service is exceptional. The grounds are a fascinating experience showcasing youthful participants in all aspects of farm life. The past few years have seen some great improvements in the selection of experiences. Don't miss are the youth art expedition and that week when the welding and equipment rebuilds are in town. Still weak is the food selection on the grounds (no variety) and the non-farm vendors. If you want something besides a Cowboy hat, shop elsewhere.
Love the rodeo every year. Always a great family experience.
Enjoyed her candor and ability to create an intimate experience in such a big venue. She can still belt out those high notes and maintains her impressive range.
I always have a good experience at the SA Rodeo. Bull riding, roping etc. are all fun to watch. Concert afterwards with LeeAn Rimes was also enjoyable. I wish she would have sang a few more songs, but otherwise a good time. I do like the self serve stations. Faster checkout.
We had a great time. The rodeo and concert were awesome. My only complaint would be the snacks at the Frost Bank Center. We grabbed nachos, popcorn and a hot dog and none of them were very good. They had been sitting under the lamps too long. You couldn’t even bite through the bread on the hot dog and the popcorn was stale
I love the SA rodeo! I’m from Houston and make the trip yearly. This rodeo has everything but with less crowds, so you can actually enjoy yourself.
Rodeo was great and the concert was great, but it could’ve been better if it was longer Keith Urban only sang for 40 minutes or so, concert was too short! Very disappointing that we didn’t hear all his songs.
Going down to the ground was great but the sound quality was very poor. Not sure if it was the band's system or the venue but hope they figure it out.
First time at the San Antonio Rodeo. Rodeo and Concert (Keith Urban) were great.
