Rumours: The Ultimate Fleetwood Mac Tribute on Tour

Hop into a time machine and experience the energy, ecstasy, and pure rock ‘n' roll power of Fleetwood Mac in their heyday — or at least enjoy a carbon copy of them in the present. This is Rumours, the groovy quintet who've re-created the music and misadventures of Mick, John, Christine, Lindsey, and Stevie for the Ultimate Fleetwood Mac Tribute Show.

The group — named after Fleetwood Mac's iconic 1977 album, of course — was formed in Los Angeles in 2012. They had a residency at L.A.'s famed Roxy Theatre on the Sunset Strip before appearing on the first season of AXS TV's The World's Greatest Tribute Bands in 2013. They've since taken their act on the road, thrilling fans of one of the most successful bands of all time with dead-on performances of classic tracks like "Landslide," "Rhiannon," "Don't Stop," and "Go Your Own Way."

Rumours take it back to the Mac's most potent years, between 1975 and 1987, committing to the band's looks, styles, mannerisms, and even instruments and equipment. Ned Brower plays the band's irrepressible co-founder and drummer Mick Fleetwood, while Nic Johns slings the bass as John McVie, and Rebecca Fishman takes on the powerful singing and keyboard pounding of Christine McVie. Then there's Jesika Miller, who embodies the inimitable witchy vibes of Stevie Nicks, and Taylor Locke, who effortlessly steps into the shoes of Lindsey Buckingham, one of the greatest guitarists of all time.

The group has toured around much of the U.S. and Canada. They've also put together the show Don't Stop! The Musical Misadventures of Fleetwood Mac, which they perform occasionally in Los Angeles. The hilarious musical pays tribute to the band through song as well as reenactments of its members working through their well-documented relationship woes. Whether you catch the musical or a tribute show, Rumours is the next best thing to seeing the Mac in person — maybe even better, as it captures the rock icons in their most prolific years.

Amazing Show! Like a live period piece!

by Drea on 4/3/23Capital One Hall - Tysons

It was like being taken back into a place and time we can never go to again! What a show, it was actually much better than I anticipated, little did I know they would literally emulate the original band! They sounded great, they were extremely entertaining, lead singer played and sang Stevie so well! It was great! An elderly couple danced together as they probably did way back when Fleetwood Mac was young and touring, it was touching! Fantastic show, can’t wait see them perform again!

Rumors LA gave a great performance of all of Fleetwood Mac's greatest hits. Sounded as good as the original group in the 70s. Venue was very good for this type of performance.

Entertaining but instruments were to high for vocal, singing was great a little out of tune

    Great tribute band

by Music lover on 3/28/23Chandler Center for the Arts - Chandler

We really enjoyed the talent of the band. Would have been a more complete concert experience if the stage had more production such as videos and a light show.

Rumours - The Ultimate Fleetwood Mac Tribute

by Douglas on 3/28/23Chandler Center for the Arts - Chandler

I have never heard of this cover band when I saw they were coming to my area. There was another Fleetwood Mac cover band based in England that had some popularity because of YouTube. I figured for the $40 investment, it would be a fun experience! I had fantastic seats, about 12 rows up near center stage. I noticed the stage was very simple, it kind of dwarfed the bands instruments. Little did I know this was all part of the experience. They try to replicate how the set looked back in the mid-70's. When the band first walked out on stage, the first thing you notice is the costumes are very realistic to the original band. But when they went into their first song, you couldn't help but be taken back to the days of the original band! The sound was incredible. These are some talented performers!! The ladies that play Stevie Nicks and Christine McVie (Jesika Miller and Tuzy Ellis) really are the focal points. Their stage presence, their beauty, as well as their voices are almost spot on! The rest of the band is very good as well. They all act the part of their individual performers so well. They even have a dialogue on stage with each other as though they're still back in the day talking about why they wrote the songs. The band covered just about all the favorites from the day. I would say the solo versions of "Landslide" and "Songbird" were so powerful, they gave me goosebumps! "Silver Springs" and "Gold Dust Woman" were also spectacular. I will definitely be on the lookout for this band to come back to my area. It might be worth my while to drive to the Los Angeles area to see them as well. You can't go wrong with seeing this show!
