Rumours: The Ultimate Fleetwood Mac Tribute on Tour

Hop into a time machine and experience the energy, ecstasy, and pure rock ‘n' roll power of Fleetwood Mac in their heyday — or at least enjoy a carbon copy of them in the present. This is Rumours, the groovy quintet who've re-created the music and misadventures of Mick, John, Christine, Lindsey, and Stevie for the Ultimate Fleetwood Mac Tribute Show.

The group — named after Fleetwood Mac's iconic 1977 album, of course — was formed in Los Angeles in 2012. They had a residency at L.A.'s famed Roxy Theatre on the Sunset Strip before appearing on the first season of AXS TV's The World's Greatest Tribute Bands in 2013. They've since taken their act on the road, thrilling fans of one of the most successful bands of all time with dead-on performances of classic tracks like "Landslide," "Rhiannon," "Don't Stop," and "Go Your Own Way."

Rumours take it back to the Mac's most potent years, between 1975 and 1987, committing to the band's looks, styles, mannerisms, and even instruments and equipment. Ned Brower plays the band's irrepressible co-founder and drummer Mick Fleetwood, while Nic Johns slings the bass as John McVie, and Rebecca Fishman takes on the powerful singing and keyboard pounding of Christine McVie. Then there's Jesika Miller, who embodies the inimitable witchy vibes of Stevie Nicks, and Taylor Locke, who effortlessly steps into the shoes of Lindsey Buckingham, one of the greatest guitarists of all time.

The group has toured around much of the U.S. and Canada. They've also put together the show Don't Stop! The Musical Misadventures of Fleetwood Mac, which they perform occasionally in Los Angeles. The hilarious musical pays tribute to the band through song as well as reenactments of its members working through their well-documented relationship woes. Whether you catch the musical or a tribute show, Rumours is the next best thing to seeing the Mac in person — maybe even better, as it captures the rock icons in their most prolific years.

    A fun night

    by Lolar on 8/20/23

The band was very talented and really took on their roles well as the actual members of Fleetwood Mac. Very good entertainers. The sound wasn’t the best due to the bass being so loud it drowned out the singing and other instruments. It would have been amazing if the bass level would have been turned down to a level equal or less than the rest. I find this to be true at many of the concerts at the casino for some reason. The singers are generally harder to hear. The other thing that makes these concerts less fun is that it’s hard to see due to taller and shorter lawn chairs and people getting up and moving around without regard to people trying to see and hear the band. Seems like many people aren’t there for the music but for visiting (yelling) with their friends and getting more food or drink. It’s distracting and it seems like there’s no concert etiquette anymore. It’s a lovely venue and there are many talented groups but it seems like many people are just acting like they are at a restaurant/bar and the band is just background music they need to talk (shout) above not the main event.

Overall very good concert but sound system was mediocre.

    by Chris on 7/25/23

Stevie Nicks singer was outstanding as was Lindsay Buckingham guitar and singing. Christine McVie vocals were very muted and hard to distinguish the lyrics. Drumming was completely too loud and distracted with the vocals and other instruments.

    Not good

This band was bad at best. Lindsey Buckingham made us laugh whenever he sang. They are no tribute to Fleetwood Mac

    Great tribute

by Gold on 4/3/23Capital One Hall - Tysons

Wonderful , fun tribute to Fleetwood Mac. The women singers were fantastic , very talented and very reminiscent of Christine McVey and Stevie Nicks. Not so much the case though with the singer / guitar player representing Lindsey Buckingham . Greatly enjoyed the performance and the venue.

Great sound. The show was like Fleetwooid Mac on steroids, good guitar, bass and drum with a good Stevie nicks lead and faithful harmonies. We loved the evening.

    Good show

by Four Star Fred on 4/3/23Capital One Hall - Tysons

Instrumentally 9/10 Group vocal 9/10 Christine McVie 10/10 Stevie 7/10 little too much flair and held notes too long, felt operatic and oversung at times.
