The show was interesting and my friends and I are glad we went, but it didn't quite feel like a concert. That's partly because the vocals are from studio recordings, so in spite of the live band and backup singers, the songs seemed a little too polished and non-spontaneous. I'm also not entirely convinced that Holly's hologram featured his real face and hair - or if the hologram was merely a lookalike. Supposedly, body doubles are used to create the holograms and then facial features are added via CGI, but this Buddy Holly looked like no photo or film footage I've ever seen. Nevertheless, it was an intriguing evening.
