Rodney Carrington on Tour
One of America's most popular comedians and an actor and author to boot, Rodney Carrington shows just what kind of good times can happen when country meets comedy.
Since the breakthrough success of his first major-label release Hangin' with Rodney in 1998, Carrington has been a favorite of audiences all over the world thanks to his enjoyably raucous take on the best things in life, starting with whatever's in the bottle in front of him. With signature songs like "Just One Beer," "Wish She Would Have Left Quicker" and "Put Your Clothes Back On," he proves that some jokes just go better when combined with the twang and swagger of a country tune.
In addition to being one of America's Top 10 highest-grossing comedians, Carrington headlined his own ABC sitcom with Rodney and co-starred with Toby Keith in the feature film Beer For My Horses. In 2017, his special Here Comes The Truth brought his blue-collar brand of stand-up and musical comedy to Netflix. His 2020 tour of venues across the U.S. and Canada follows the release of his latest album, Get Em Out, which hit No. 1 on the iTunes comedy chart.
Rodney Carrington Background
Rodney Carrington has been providing proudly blue-collar audiences something to laugh about ever since his earliest days as a performer at local venues and on radio shows in his native Texas in the ‘90s.
After years of touring nationally, Carrington's breakthrough came with the 1998 release of Hangin' With Rodney, a CD that introduced listeners to the combination of comedy and country music that fast became his trademark. In 2000, he scored his first Top 20 album on Billboard's country chart with Morning Wood, an equally raucous collection that included such fan favorites as "A Dozen Roses" and "Older Women."
Along with earning platinum sales as a recording artist, Carrington's achievements include starring in the ABC sitcom Rodney (2004-2006) and co-writing and co-starring with superstar Toby Keith in the feature film Beer For My Horses (2008). In 2007, he made the jump to the publishing world with his first book, Coming Clean. His Netflix special Here Comes the Truth debuted in 2017. Get Em Out, his eighth comedy album, was released in 2019.

Laughs from beginning till the end! Great night of comedy at the Beau Rivage!
Great seats, had blast. Rodney is always hilarious.
Never stopped laughing the entire show! One of the funniest comedians! I seen him for the first time over 20 years ago. He is still my favorite!!!
I am 31 and this was right up my alley. Hilarious. And totally relatable to real life! Will be booking another Rodney show when he’s nearby again!
Vulgariously honest. Masterful tribute to human nature. Hilarious
Matt & Rodney were great! The three Hookers arguing on 2nd & 3rd rows were talking over Rodney. Beau Rivage did nothing but tell them to calm down! Rodney stopped the show! Not good!
He was very funny at first then he got extremely raunchy and just kept going deeper. By that point there wasn’t much laughter from the audience. He has a nice voice, but again very dirty! Sorry I wasted my time and money!
what a funny evening. The person that I was with and myself laughed the entire time. The opening act??? what was his name? His opening line about Yellowstone was off the chart. Tell that youngster Matt it was great and I will see you in Bakersfield.
Oh my gosh we LOVE him!!!! Rodney Carrington is fantastic as always!!! He’s hysterical every time!!!!
Rodney was great! We rolled laughing the ENTIRE show. The ONLY complaint I have was the registration email said to download your tickets to AppleWallet and I did this prior to the show. Well on arrival, the line was very long because the door entry staff wanted the barcode for TicketMaster. The internet WIFI connection was very weak so it took me about 12 minutes to get the tickets up by TicketMaster. Maybe the email system needs to be updated.
He put on a great show and had a mixture of standup comedy and humorous songs.
He had me in tears! Absolutely loved Rodney. Will definitely go to another show. He has a wonderful voice.
Rodney was all that he advertised! Hilarious to say the least. Very good show!
The show was great, but it was a little disappointing that it seemed to end so quickly. I don't recall the others that we've attended being so short. The event was very disorganized. The show was supposed to start at 8 according to our tickets but apparently it didn't. When we got inside no one could find their seats and the seats we purchased someone else was sitting in and one of our seats was missing. But he was hilarious and will definitely see him again. This was our third time attending one of his shows.
This show was none stop laughter. He is a great performer. I would definitely attend his show again. The venue was nice but the seating was to tight.
I have been to many of Rodney's shows. Each one has been hilarious. This time I did a meet and greet with him. He is a sweet man! From the moment he comes out on stage he had us rolling in laughter. We were nonstop laughing right up until the end. If you like more of a southern, raunchy humor, I highly recommend checking him out if you've never seen him before!! He is an amazing entertainer, comedian, and musician!
I’ve listened to Rodney Carington for years but somehow I forgot how funny he is. Having been to a lot of comedy shows, this was by far the best performance I’ve been too. I literally laughed the ENTIRE time. Wish he was doing a second show locally because I would absolutely see him again! Do yourself a favor and see this show!! Your abs will thank you!
Show was funny. Seating was very uncomfortable & crowded. We had people next to us on both sides that were way to big for your seating arrangement. Also very hard to see. Need theater seating
Didn't take long to get in to the event center. The employees we very nice
