Cinderella was a totally magical experience for me and my two daughters who are 7 & 10 to enjoy!!
I was unaware that there were 2 versions of Cinderella, and I was quite disappointed with this one. There was not 1 recognizable song and Cinderella didn't even have blonde hair. I wasn't a fan of the play using so much humor either.
Seemed like the opening few scenes were a bit amateurish. Show improved afterwards.
Thoroughly enjoyed the show, from the costumes, to the set designs, to the music, and the cast- excellent
Cinderella was amazing! The music and acting was beautiful!
The characters were believable and likeable. The story was full of life and humor. The set design was breathtaking and the character tfasformations amazed me as a child with only wonder on my face! I would see this again, except next time my seats would be closer to stage for better view and leg room.
Cinderella had the passion of the true story, comedy and a spin to the story that was incredible...Recommend it to many and keep your eyes on wardrobe changes!!!!!!!!! there is no rewind
I absolutely loved this performance. I actually went back and saw it a second time. I highly recommend it.
I enjoyed the show but not as much as I enjoyed past shows like wicked, beauty and the beast phantom of the opera, and lion king. I expected more out of this show with the costumes the set and props. It definitely was a beautiful show and the acting and singing were great I did enjoy the fairy godmother.
Cinderella was absolutely Fantastic!!! The singing, dancing, humor in the show were wonderful! I would definitely recommend this show! It was very colorful and uplifting!
One of the best shows I've seen. Great cast and magnificent costumes. Recommended for people of any ages. Very kid friendly.
The rewrite was very relevant and amusing. You will love the magic in the costume changes and the character switches.
There were a few really good songs (that, a few days out, I barely remember). I found that the story seemed to move quickly enough. The plot development was sufficient but the character development was not. There is little to these characters: Not convinced Cinderella is treated badly (Would she sing a happy song with the evil stepmother if she was?). Overall, I want to pat this show on the head, say "nice little show," and move it along.
This production was a joy. All cast members performed beautifully. I didn't find anyone to be a weak link. The costuming was gorgeous. Go see this show!
This production was pure magic!! I highly recommend taking your little girl to see this!! It was so beautiful!! The entire cast was amazing!!
I went with my husband, cousin and brother to see the show. We were in the balcony, but we still had a wonderful experience. The show was funny, romantic, enchanting, and also clean and good for all ages. The singing and acting was fabulous, as was the set. The dress changes blew my mind. Everything about the show was amazing.
Cinderella has been a show I've wanted to see since I saw their performance on the 2013 Tony Awards, and this performance certainly did not disappoint. It was frankly the best touring production I have ever seen, and this cast has the most wonderful chemistry. I would come back to see this show many times if I could! This show is a must see. It was also my first time at the DPAC, as I am from Atlanta, and it provided an excellent venue for this truly magical show.
When I heard that Cinderella was coming to DPAC, I knew that I had to see it. As an adult who had grown up with the Brandy version, I was excited to see the stage version of the only musical the legendary team of Rodgers and Hammerstein had written for TV. Now, I knew it was not going to be exactly like the Brandy version because I had watched behind-the-scenes videos about the show and had listened to the cast recording. So you can imagine how excited I was. Well, I was not disappointed! Everything was excellent! The performers were phenomenal, the costumes were gorgeous (every little girls dream), and the sets were amazing! The storytelling is so immersive that for a few hours, you can forget about your troubles! Now, while I enjoyed seeing it by myself, it's definitely a family show and unless you like fairytales as much as I do, you may not enjoy it as much. But, both children and adults will definitely enjoy seeing it together! So, if you believe that anything is possible, you will definitely enjoy this show!
Cinderella was a good show but it did not live up to its publicity hype and was certainly not worth the $167 I paid for one ticket!.
Cinderella was a light hearted rendition of the fairy tale. I felt it was aimed more at children than adults, and was a bit disappointed at the stage effects. My 16-year-old daughter really liked it though.
