ROCK OF AGES on Tour
Tenth Anniversary Tour
Book by Chris D’Arienzo
Arrangements and Orchestrations by Ethan Popp
Broadway’s Best Party is turning up the volume to ten! The ROCK OF AGES Tenth Anniversary Tour is blazing across North America!
Nominated for five Tony Awards®, including Best Musical, ROCK OF AGES captures the iconic era that was the big bad 1980s Hollywood. Know What Love Is, Feel the Noise, and Take Your Best Shot at one of the Sunset Strip’s last epic venues, a place where the legendary Stacee Jaxx returns to the stage and rock-n-roll dreamers line up to turn their fantasies into reality.
Featuring the music of hit bands such as Styx, Poison, Twisted Sister, and Whitesnake among many others, this Tenth Anniversary production features a dynamic new cast revisiting the larger than life characters and exhilarating story that turned ROCK OF AGES into a global phenomenon.
This is one for the ages that will have you singing “Here I Go Again.”
“Absurdly enjoyable! About as guilty as pleasures get!” - The New York Times
“ROCK OF AGES is the power-ballad decade in all its glory, tricked out with big perms, bigger dreams, and the kind of operatic ecstasy you read about only in bathroom stalls.” - Entertainment Weekly
“Insanely fun! Rock and comedy in perfect proportion!” - Time Out New York
A great show! Great music choices and very funny! Highly recommend.
I found it to be very entertaining, I would go again! We had a wonderful time..
good not great show.....kind of mindless entertainment......great voices, very talented cast
A great show with a great cast. The music was awesome bringing us back to the past. The actors were fun to watch keeping you interested for the entire show, they had the audiences attention, laughing. The cast narrator started the show by telling all to put phones away and everyone complied, which rarely happens from my experiences.
2nd time seeing this show! Best experience ever! It’s hysterical, touching and a total blast!!
The music was fantastic ... The whole theatre was rocking !!!
This hands down was an amazing show. The cast and band immersed so much in the show and how great they were they left us wanting more! If they were in town another day we would definitely come back to see it again. If you have an opportunity to see them do it!
Cast, music, all of it AMAZING!!! Will definitely go again when they come back to town!
We had an awesome time reliving the 1980s with the Rock of Ages touring company. Lots of iconic music and a witty script made this a memorable night. Talented actors and good vocals from the whole ensemble!
Easier to use the bathrooms since more were added. Fun group presenting show.
What an amazing show! Will definitely see this again if they come back!
Saw the show in NYC many years ago. This show was by far the best. Performers voices were amazing. Loved every minute of it.
This is one of the best and most fun shows we’ve ever seen! I literally had a smile on my face the whole time, even after seeing it multiple times. The cast and band is amazing!! Go see this show!!
Talented and entertaining , Would definitely recommend seeing this show
Outstanding show...for adults. Enjoyed every minute. Take heed and be warned that ROA is not for children. A friend and her daughter left mid show as it is way too inappropriate. Even the “13 and older” recommendation is off the mark.
Going to this show, my expectations were not high. Ive never sttended a musical before. I bought the tickets for my wifes birthday because she loves the movie. Let me tell you that i was blown away!! The performers were amazing and played to the crowd very well. All around fantastic performace and i would gladly buy tickets again. 5 stars easily and highly recommended!
It was just a fun evening of great 80’s musics, good story line, the audience just got into it with the singing.
The music and the band were awesome, great story, great actors and singers. I don't want to leave out the narrator, he was awesome too.
The music , the singing , the acting was excellent . It was a fun night for someone who spent their teens in the 80’s.
I saw better highschool plays. Stage was basic Acting was sub par Music and singing......heard better watching some of the TV mustc atdditions out-takes. Can't believe they are touring with this. The lack of an audience compared to other events should have been a clue.
