    RjD2 was amazing again!

by duuderino on 4/10/12Paradise Rock Club - Boston

2nd time i've seen RjD2 at the paradise in the past 12 months. He was absolutely great again. He played a lot of really good hits from ghostrider and smoke & mirrors, and really got the crowd going with his dj skills and timings. he stayed after and took pictures with the crowd, and seemed like a totally down to earth guy who appreciated his fans. highly recommend

    Commander Crotch Buttons killed it!

by luski09 on 4/10/12Paradise Rock Club - Boston

The opening DJ(s) were great after about an hour after the doors opened and more people came into the venue. One of the DJ's seemed to be more content checking his phone than doing or even faking DJ like actions. However, once RJD2 came on, he ROCKED. Awesome set, very close to the stage, he even hung around after the show to autograph fans things and give out hugs!

Way too short, WAY WAY too short. I paid $22.50 for a ticket and RJD2 only played from 9-10:15...what???? He was great but I severely feel like I wasted my money on this show.

    RJD2 in an intimate setting

by Mizzledizzle on 4/2/12Arts Quest Center - Bethlehem

The bottom line is, you have to see RJD2. His energy on stage is incredible and he can spin and flip records like a master. He played all of his biggest hits such as The Horror and Smoke & Mirrors along with some exclusive material just for this venue, such as sampling The Cars "Good Times Roll". The crowd was small but electrified by the music. I went with a group of 15 people and we had practically owned the third row. I even got to take my picture with him and shake his hand!

    Awesome!

by 1231dzsf on 10/13/11Paradise Rock Club - Boston

We got to the show kind of early so we got to stand right in front of the stage. The music was awesome; it wasn't a huge crowd but everyone was very enthusiastic and you could tell the artists appreciated it. All in all the show rocked!

Waterfalls near your hometown don't compare to the natural beauty of Icebird and Rjd2.

    So chill and fun

by Nimss on 10/12/11Paradise Rock Club - Boston

The concert was excellent, it was pretty much a 2 part show, first half was with icebird and the second was just RJD2 .. it was an awesome transition of style/genre .. Sadly, I cannot say that this was an "unforgettable" event .. but if you want to go out for a fun time it is highly recommended, I say this isn't an unforgettable event just because nothing unusual happened .. nevertheless, I would go again.

I should have listen to the last album. this wasn't hip-hop, it was cheesy soul music for elevator. I stayed 3 song just to make sure this wasn't a joke and then I left

Great Event with a Few Kinks to Work Out

by WildcatRocks on 9/19/11Red Rocks Amphitheatre - Morrison

Snowboard on the Rocks is a great event, at least in concept. Overall, I had a really nice experience. The films were excellent. The vendor tent village was superb. One of the best I've seen at any event. I walked away with two free t-shirts, lanyards, candy, stickers, and burritos! The event did get really cold and long at the end though. My recommendation for the planners for next year would be to change the structure a bit. By the time the headliner RJD2 came on it was after midnight, cold, and most of us had been there for at least five and a half hours. I felt badly the ampetheater basically emptied out at the start of this set. Instead of Artist/ Film/ Artist/ Film/ Artist/ Film/ Artist, I would suggest the planners skip the opening act and end with a film. In the end, this event was really about the films, not the musical acts.

    really?

by juhupenguin on 9/19/11Red Rocks Amphitheatre - Morrison

Next time I shell out $40 to see someone play I would like to see them actually play for a while... not half an hour. Next year tell those snowboarders to shut their mouths, get off the stage and let the music play that we all payed to hear.

The movies were great! The excessive talking before and after the movies however, were not as great!!! No one new who these people were or cared if they wanted to speak in the mic or not. The movies were also pretty long winded but they were overall entertaining.

by jt350 on 9/18/11Red Rocks Amphitheatre - Morrison

sor was real fun this year! rjd2's performance was not up to his par of music. I would have had to like to have seen more swag and maybe a raffle too. but redrocks amphitheatre is the best venue in the world

    Snowboard on the Rocks

by Chesire94 on 9/18/11Red Rocks Amphitheatre - Morrison

Was disappointed. Show was not organized well. Videos were not amazing and focused only on park tricks. Will stick with Warren Miller in the future. At least it was at Red Rocks.

RJD2 is great! but it's not worth waiting 3hrs.

by Badi on 9/27/10Masquerade - Atlanta

RJD2 is an amazing DJ and producer. No doubt. But it took more than 3 hours for him to come on from the time the doors opened. My friend and I were so bored waiting for all the other DJs and MCs to finish filling up the 3 hours. Some of them were okay. At least there were other bands in the venue, so we just walked around, but for the most part, it dragged on and on. Also the volume was way too loud. It's not healthy to listen to extended periods of loud music. One more thing was that the price was high to have that kind of experience. We probably ended up paying more for the opening artists than for RJD2.
