    dj set was ok, band set was very mediocre, some parts seem less rehearsed.

    SO good... SO good that standard English won't do this any justice.

    Venue way too small for this Rjd2's following. Awesome show though.

    Anyone who has the opportunity to see RJD2 live needs to go. It is an auditory and visual experience like no other. He's a genius dj and musician!

    The structural stability of the upstairs floor at the masquerade is beyond questionable and the drinks are a little expensive. However, they had a good band playing downstairs while celestial or whoever was sucking it upstairs. Pizza for sale was clutch. This is my second time in 3 years to see RJD2 and again he by far surpassed my expectations.

    RJD2!!! Sooo Talented!

    by Buh7 on 1/19/10The Social - Orlando

    RJD2 performed an incredible show. He knew exactly what he was doing, and even though no one else did, the audience knew it sounded great. He played all of our (the fans) favorite songs and a few of his new ones! I really respected his request for a "No Smoking" policy while he performed. He was funny, entertaining, and upbeat. I don't think I allowed myself to blink once. Perfect concert!!! :) The opening were really fun! Happy Chichester, who also performs with RJD2, was AWESOME! He was sweet and is a king of beat boxing with an indie twist. The band The Constellations from Georgia were perfect and really spiced things up. I LOVEDDDD it!!!!!!!!

    RJD2 = Yeea!

    by illsubliminal on 1/19/10Masquerade - Atlanta

    This show was the 2nd time I have seen RJD2. The Masquarade is a cool venue. It has plenty of bars through out the 3 story world...Heaven(upstairs), Purgatory(in the middle), and Hell(at the bottom). Smoking out front or out back. The bouncers are NO JOKE there. Don't show up drunk as a skunk. They will deny you a drinking wrist band, and definitely kick you out if they catch you drinking. (this happened to my friend and he missed the opening acts. i talked with the manager, and he eventually let him in after several attempts). Buuut. RJD2 Brought one hell of a show. He would switch from the turntables to the guitar and play along side some other members. He released his CD that night to us(2 days early) and had some rare unreleased vinyls of his instrumentals, which i bought. Over all an Aplus.

    Great show.

    I loved RjD2, even his new stuff which is much more pop sounding. The opening act was OK but not very memorable.

    RJD2 is, in fact, God

    by Calz on 1/18/10Masquerade - Atlanta

    Im really glad that the show was in Heaven. It was packed, getting there early was a great idea, even if it was freezing and raining. It was well worth the front and center view. Great venue, even if they are sticklers on smoking, but I later learned that the performers rather us not to. Opening bands were great! fun, got everything pumped. RJ's entrance was kickass, Commissioner Crotchbuttons. And the show was pure ecstasy! Beautiful.

    Rj came out as Comissioner Crotchbuttons, rocked our faces off then went back to his vinyl. He played some old favorites, got the crowd going, then he came out with this band and played some stuff off of Since We Last Spoke, went back up to his mixers, played some more old stuff, did his usual Mario thing which everyone loved. He then went back to the front of the stage with this band and played some stuff off of his new upcoming album, The Colossus, he closed with The Horror and then Ghostwriter. These two songs back to back were incredible. The crowd basically turned into a mosh pit during Ghostwriter and it was amazing. The whole show was great. Loved hearing all my old favorites, he even played Bus Stop Bitties, which I've never heard him play before. He never fails to put on a good show and even shook my hand at the end of it all. Go see this man spin.

    RJD2 is a MODERN DAY BEETHOVEN!!!

    by RJD2isGOD on 1/14/10The Social - Orlando

    This has to be one of the best shows i have ever seen, no crazy lights, a little bit of video, but JUST TO WATCH RJ IS ENOUGH!!!!!! THIS MAN IS A MODERN DAY BEETHOVEN!! HIS BRAIN WAS DEVELOPED BY AN UPPER POWER JUST FOR THIS REASON!! THIS MAN PLAYS BASS GUITAR, LEAD GUITAR, DRUMS, KEYBOARD, TURNTABLES, BEAT BOXES. HE IS INCREDIBLE. I DROVE FROM FORT LAUDERDALE TO ORLANDO, LEFT ORLANDO AT 2AM AND ARRIVED IN FORT LAUDERDALE AT 5 AM, AND STILL MADE IT TO WORK AT 8AM, AND I DO NOT REGRET ONE SECOND OF IT!!!!!! DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND SEE THIS, THIS IS THE BEST MUSICAL SHOW I HAVE BEEN TO IN A LONG TIME
