About

RINGO STARR & HIS ALL STARR BAND IN CONCERT:

Count your lucky starrs, Ringo Starr & His All Starr band are on tour, bringing Beatles classics and the best of Ringo's solo material to fans around the country. The latest incarnation of the supergroup features yet another stellar lineup of musicians, including Toto's Steve Lukather on guitar, Santana's Gregg Rolie on keys, and Todd Rundgren on, well, just about everything. Covering a variety of contemporary and classic hits alongside beloved favorites by the Fab Four, the band has hordes of eager fans awaiting their 2014 tour dates.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Ringo Starr, beloved drummer of The Beatles, has been touring the world with his All Starr Band since 1989. Over the last two decades, Ringo has played with 12 variations of the band, always sharing the stage with members who are veritable stars in their own right. Past All Starr Band players include Joe Walsh of the Eagles, Peter Frampton, and Sheila E., and the ever-humble Ringo always gives his fellow performers equal stage time to perform hits from their respective catalogs.

FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:

"He played old classics from his solo career and Beatles, and plenty of other favorites from bands of our era. He is a true showman!"

"Ringo is a great emcee and performer. He is funny, down-to-earth, and obviously loves to perform — he was having lots of fun, and so were we. The musicians he brought along this time were fantastic..."

"People of all ages (kids to seniors) all dancing, cheering, clapping, laughing and singing together. I'm not sure I have ever seen anything quite like it. Incredible show & incredible talent."

    Fun concert!

by Kim G on 10/15/23Simmons Bank Arena - North Little Rock

Wow! So much fun! Decades of hits from the Beatles, Ringo, Edgar Winter, Toto, AWB, Men at Work. Ringo was so full of energy. The band was tight. Greg Bissonette was amazing and I cannot say enough about Warren Ham. Saw them in Little Rock and we would have gone on to OK for the last night of the tour but no rooms were available. I will never miss another Ringo All Starr Tour.

    Credit Where Credit is Due

by Mark on 10/15/23Simmons Bank Arena - North Little Rock

I’ve heard some badly mixed shows in Simmons Arena, but the Ringo Starr and his All Starr Band show on October 12 was one of the best shows I have heard in that venue. The FOH person that night should get a bonus. And the lighting was good, too. Kudos to the crew!

    Yahoo!

by Sal on 10/15/23Simmons Bank Arena - North Little Rock

The concert was wonderful and everyone sounded so tight. My only complaint is the sears at Simmons are so uncomfortable. Little leg room and too close together but that’s not Ringo’s fault. I’m amazed he is still rocking at 83! More power to him!

    Incredible concert

by TeddyBallgame on 10/15/23Simmons Bank Arena - North Little Rock

The All-Starr band has some superb musicians. Edgar Winter is a longtime favorite. It was like going to an Edgar, Toto, Average White Band, Men at Work, and Beatles show. Ringo was just fantastic, and I had to pinch myself that I was getting to see him sing and play drums in person. Just some lifetime memories I’ll cherish. All in all, an incredible experience and show. Highly recommend.

    Fantastic!!!! You Wont Be Dissapointed!!!

by SteveE on 10/15/23Silver Creek Event Center at Four Winds New Buffalo - New Buffalo

The concert was fabulous!!! Dont go expecting to hear a ton of Beatles though. Its an All Star Band so you get to hear hits from all the bands the people were in. For the line up you cant go wrong. Steve Lukather from Toto is awesome, Colin Hays from Men at Work was also great, Ringo need no explanation, Edgar Winter was extremely entertaining and fantastic, Stuart Hamish Fantastic, and you cant go wrong with Greg Bissonette on Drums. Just can't express enough how wonderful the show was!!!

    AMAZING!

by Power Pop 53 on 10/15/23Simmons Bank Arena - North Little Rock

The Ringo Starr and His All-Starr Band concert at Simmons Bank Arena (Little Rock, Arkansas) was EXCELLENT! It ranks right up there with the best I've seen...Edgar Winter was AMAZING! His rendition of "Frankenstein"brought back fond memories of yesteryear. The guy from Toto sang three of his hits. Colin Hay got us rockin' and reminiscing about his Men at Work years. Average White Band guy was above average. The second drummer and the multi instrumentalist were wonderful! and there was also 83-year old Ringo who was spry and tearin' up the stage! Mick Jagger has nothing on him!...Overall, this was more than worth the money and time I spent driving over to see this AMAZING! WONDERFUL concert. It will be long remembered...

by Jfar on 10/15/23Simmons Bank Arena - North Little Rock

The All star part of it was under advertised, it was awesome seeing the hits that I grew up from multiple groups with great full muscial sound from them all as they played together, the icing on the cake was getting to see Ringo too

Ringo & All-Stars: Great nostalgic concert

by Tim on 10/15/23Simmons Bank Arena - North Little Rock

Accompanied by long-time professional musicians, from significant bands, Ringo Star shined in LR. The audience, mostly mature fans, enjoyed remembering their pasts listening to iconic hits. Ringo was a charming MC & shared the stage with past stars, including Edgar Winter, Colin Hays, Stuart Hamish, ... Ringo, the former Beatle, is certainly still worth seeing live. A fun night

    Fabulous

by 1chris on 10/15/23Simmons Bank Arena - North Little Rock

2nd time I've seen Ringo...LOVE that his concerts are about the music versus having a big theatrical event/special effects and so on. Too bad tho that things are now paperless and cashless.

    Ringo’ All-Star Band

by Doug on 10/15/23Simmons Bank Arena - North Little Rock

He is still a great showman, musician, and has energy that belies his age. He surrounds himself with other storied musicians and together they put on a show that is musically varied, steeped in some of our favorite songs from the 60’s-80’s, and downright FUN!! The respect the musicians have for him, and for each other, is easily seen. I think they had as good a time playing together as we had watching and listening to them!!! Go see them if they come close to you!!!

    Great show!

by Jk on 10/15/23Simmons Bank Arena - North Little Rock

I have seen & enjoyed Ringo’s concerts several times before, and this time was no exception. I have not seen this group of current All-Starr band members, and I really, really got into their musical selections! Frankenstein, Pick Up The Pieces, Overkill—it was awesome getting to hear these songs live. And Ringo! 83 years old, bopping around on stage like he’s 33, voice is still strong—just amazing! Photograph was probably my emotionally favorite song—last year I lost several family members & friends, so that song really tugged at my heartstrings during the show. It has always been one of my best liked songs, but this concert truly cemented it as an all-time sentimental favorite. Well done, Ringo & the All Starrs! I hope they come back to our town again. And, I really appreciate the staff who work there at the arena. They have always gone above and beyond whenever I’ve needed assistance. I hope the arena manager knows what a great team he has working there!

All about the All Star band

by All Star Band on 10/15/23Simmons Bank Arena - North Little Rock

Well, I am glad I got to see Ringo, but, I think his All Star band was the highlight..Edgar Winter and Colin Hay brought back a lot of memories along with Steve. Not sure how this can be improved. Simmons Bank Arena did and outstanding job hosting this and the venues they do!
