RINGO STARR & HIS ALL STARR BAND IN CONCERT:

Count your lucky starrs, Ringo Starr & His All Starr band are on tour, bringing Beatles classics and the best of Ringo's solo material to fans around the country. The latest incarnation of the supergroup features yet another stellar lineup of musicians, including Toto's Steve Lukather on guitar, Santana's Gregg Rolie on keys, and Todd Rundgren on, well, just about everything. Covering a variety of contemporary and classic hits alongside beloved favorites by the Fab Four, the band has hordes of eager fans awaiting their 2014 tour dates.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Ringo Starr, beloved drummer of The Beatles, has been touring the world with his All Starr Band since 1989. Over the last two decades, Ringo has played with 12 variations of the band, always sharing the stage with members who are veritable stars in their own right. Past All Starr Band players include Joe Walsh of the Eagles, Peter Frampton, and Sheila E., and the ever-humble Ringo always gives his fellow performers equal stage time to perform hits from their respective catalogs.

FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:

"He played old classics from his solo career and Beatles, and plenty of other favorites from bands of our era. He is a true showman!"

"Ringo is a great emcee and performer. He is funny, down-to-earth, and obviously loves to perform — he was having lots of fun, and so were we. The musicians he brought along this time were fantastic..."

"People of all ages (kids to seniors) all dancing, cheering, clapping, laughing and singing together. I'm not sure I have ever seen anything quite like it. Incredible show & incredible talent."

Ringo Starr and his All Starr Band was a must see concert, not to miss. Ringo didn’t miss a beat, voice is still strong, and entertains the crowd. All the band members were fantastic, was a great lineup, each bringing back memories with their songs. One of the best shows of the year!

What a great concert experience. Very cozy atmosphere

by Cycledog on 10/15/23Simmons Bank Arena - North Little Rock

Very cozy atmosphere in the arena. Ringo and his all stars put on a great show. Edgar Winter's Free Ride to open the all stars part of the show was great. All the other Allstars took their turns playing their hits. It was a great evening for some of the classic rock music.

The show you know by heart

by Marty on 10/15/23Simmons Bank Arena - North Little Rock

What a night! Once again, Ringo’s All Star band lived up to its name. They blended the Beatles and Ringo’s hit with those of the other band members, creating a show where you know and love every song. Songs from Toto, the Average White Band, Men at Work, and the Edgar Winter Group combined for a the playlist we all grew up with. It was a night I’ll never forget.

I wasn’t sure what to expect but it was better than I’d hoped for. Great to rock to many old faves. Amazing job as older rockers that still have it! Glad they haven’t quit and are sitting around growing old. Still moving and playing real music! Thanks for the memories! Peace and love!

    Wanted more Ringo

by CindyA on 10/15/23Simmons Bank Arena - North Little Rock

My husband and I have always been Beatle fans and so is my granddaughter. We loved the chance to see Ringo perform but we were disappointed that a large part of the concert wasn’t his music. The other performers were stars in their own right but that’s not what we took our granddaughter to see. Good music but not the performance we bought tickets for.

Ringo was Ringo, ‘nuf said. Always the ultimate showman. The “All Star” Band was outstanding. A better group of musicians would be hard to find, especially E. Winters. Would love to see them again.

    Great Show!!!

by Al on 10/15/23Simmons Bank Arena - North Little Rock

This was a Bucket List show. I've always wanted to see Ringo and his All Starr Band, and it did not disappoint!!! The band was tight. Everyone from Steve Lukather shredding up the guitar, to Colin Hay singing some classic Men at Work, to Edgar Winter blasting the synthesizer, and Hamish Stuart laying down some fantastic base lines was amazing. Add Gregg Bissonette on drums and Warren Ham on just about everything else. What an amazing show!!! Would definitely see this lineup again.

    Fantastic Show!

by Big Blue Bob on 10/15/23Simmons Bank Arena - North Little Rock

So great and nostalgic. It reminded me of the Dick Clark Caravan of Stars back in the 60s where major acts would come out one after another and play their hits. These guys are super talented and played for well over two hours. I would definitely see them all again.

Would have liked a little more Ringo

by Library Lady on 10/14/23Charleston Coliseum - Charleston

What a blast to see The All Starr Band, especially Edgar Winter! All of the stars performed as they did when they initially recorded their works. It was like, a last chance to see these stars performing their hits. But, essentially, I wanted to see Ringo. It would have been great if he would have performed "Back off Boogaloo", "What's my name", "Goodnight, Vienna"and a song or two from his 'Cowboy/Western' style album. I felt like I got short changed.

Ringo Starr and His All Starr Band

by Lindsey on 10/14/23The Chicago Theatre - Chicago

Awesome to see one of the Beatles and all the music legends that made up the All Starr Band. The songs were amazing and sounded just as great as they did when they were originally performed. This concert was absolutely worth seeing and I would definitely go again if they toured in the future.

    The All Stars were Excellent!

by Pat on 10/14/23Wexner Center Mershon Auditorium - Columbus

A great trip down memory lane with men who still can bring it! I have not seen Ringo since he was a Beatle in Cleveland, Ohio. He was spot on in vocals.
