About

RINGO STARR & HIS ALL STARR BAND IN CONCERT:

Count your lucky starrs, Ringo Starr & His All Starr band are on tour, bringing Beatles classics and the best of Ringo's solo material to fans around the country. The latest incarnation of the supergroup features yet another stellar lineup of musicians, including Toto's Steve Lukather on guitar, Santana's Gregg Rolie on keys, and Todd Rundgren on, well, just about everything. Covering a variety of contemporary and classic hits alongside beloved favorites by the Fab Four, the band has hordes of eager fans awaiting their 2014 tour dates.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Ringo Starr, beloved drummer of The Beatles, has been touring the world with his All Starr Band since 1989. Over the last two decades, Ringo has played with 12 variations of the band, always sharing the stage with members who are veritable stars in their own right. Past All Starr Band players include Joe Walsh of the Eagles, Peter Frampton, and Sheila E., and the ever-humble Ringo always gives his fellow performers equal stage time to perform hits from their respective catalogs.

FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:

"He played old classics from his solo career and Beatles, and plenty of other favorites from bands of our era. He is a true showman!"

"Ringo is a great emcee and performer. He is funny, down-to-earth, and obviously loves to perform — he was having lots of fun, and so were we. The musicians he brought along this time were fantastic..."

"People of all ages (kids to seniors) all dancing, cheering, clapping, laughing and singing together. I'm not sure I have ever seen anything quite like it. Incredible show & incredible talent."

    Wonderful Show!

by Mike W. on 10/17/23Simmons Bank Arena - North Little Rock

More a show than a concert, but ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!! I wish I had the energy of all those on stage. Ringo and his All Starr Band were just marvelous. Didn't play a song that we didn't know. All hits from all of the band.

    Most amazing concert!

by Therese on 10/17/23Simmons Bank Arena - North Little Rock

I saw Ringo at age 18 (30 years ago) I think he was even better. The band was absolutely amazing. Wasn’t a Toto fan until now. The concert was phenomenal. Absolutely phenomenal!

Ringo, North Little Rock AR, 10/12/23

by Brownie Washington on 10/17/23Simmons Bank Arena - North Little Rock

This is not a detailed review of every song or of every musician or of the venue or anything like that. This is about what the concert meant to me. I'm 71. Ringo is 83. My first vivid memory of the Beatles was when I was in the 4th grade, maybe I was 10. That's going back at least 60 years. That's how long I've following them. I had all their records. I skipped Sunday night church, ran home to watch them on Ed Sullivan, then ran back to church to ride home with my parents. I saw their movies. I could copy all of their signatures to look like autographs. I never saw them in person. Little Rock was not an attractive location in the 60s. However, I've seen Ringo 3 times and everytime I see him it's line experiencing a liitle bit of history. The things he's seen and done. The guys he played with. The childhood thrill is still there for me. He was moving around the stage at 83 better than I can at 71. (Ringo is a great drummer but he can't dance. Sorry, Ringo.) The whole experience was worth it for me, and it looked like there were a lot of others in the audience that felt the same way.

    A night of hits

by Mike R. on 10/17/23Simmons Bank Arena - North Little Rock

Ringo Starr and His All Starr Band was everything I wanted to see/hear and more. It was an amazing experience to be with a crowd that knew the words and sand every song. Another awesome thing was there were people of several generations that shared the same enthusiasm for the music!

by Irv_61 on 10/16/23Simmons Bank Arena - North Little Rock

This was an amazing trip through time based on the man of the hour, Ringo, and his great and gifted talented band mates. A great show and all musicians were great.. enjoyable to listen to their stories of rock and roll… and Edgar Winter is by far the surprising leader and Emmcee of this fine band of brothers .. I recommend this show !!

    Great time

by John Z on 10/16/23Wexner Center Mershon Auditorium - Columbus

The band did a great job and a it was a fantastic stroll down memory lane with them. Ringo was amazing, hard to believe that he's 83. The only downside was the parking at Arps Garage. They had difficulty getting the parkers in and we nearly missed the beginning of the show. On the way out the scanner was difficult to manage and it took too long to get out. They could have used more workers to help.

    Always a fun time!

by Yorkshirerose76 on 10/16/23Mystic Lake Casino Hotel - Prior Lake

This was my third Ringo/ASB show and it never disappoints. Edgar Winters and Hamish Stuart were a great addition to this tour. Of course Colin Hay never disappoints and ‘Luke’ from Toto always rocks. It was refreshing seeing a lot of young kids in the crowd being exposed to great musicianship and legends!

by Parisienne on 10/16/23Charleston Coliseum - Charleston

What can you say that hasn't been said? Ringo is still the greatest and such a joy to see and hear in person! He and the boys in the band - what a talented all star line up! - played a great set. I could've listened for hours. Thanks for stopping by and visiting with us! Peace and Love!

    Fabulous concert

by Wayne on 10/16/23Wexner Center Mershon Auditorium - Columbus

What I liked most, besides getting to see a Beatle in person, was that there was such a variety of music to enjoy. I assumed (incorrectly) that the "All-Starr Band"was simply going to be backing Ringo on all his songs, but each member was a star in his own right, from Toto, Men at Work, Edgar Winter Group and Average White Band. Each of them played 2-3 of their biggest hits, so you can image what great music filled the air! We hardly sat the entire evening, which was nearly 2 1/2 hours. They started on time and just kept playing. One of the best concerts ever!

Ringo and the whole band are incredible! You get an amazing array of classic hits from some rock legends all in one band. Ringo still looks and sounds great and is certainly the highlight. For any Beatles or rock fan a splendid time is guaranteed for all!

by HoldTheMayo on 10/16/23Simmons Bank Arena - North Little Rock

Thought I was going to see Ringo sing some great songs, didn't realize that there were also some musical superstars singing their own hits.

by Elmo on 10/15/23Simmons Bank Arena - North Little Rock

Ringo made a supergroup of wonderful musicians. And they all got to sing their hits or their other groups' hits. It was so much fun! You could feel the love and peace in the building!

    Ringo Starr

by kalibo on 10/15/23Charleston Coliseum - Charleston

VERY good concert! Could not believe the talent everyone still possesses at this point in their lives. Thoroughly enjoyed how everyone contributed their own past hits, complimenting Ringo and his solo and Beatles’ recordings. Great audience interaction, and I really believe the band was enjoying themselves as much as we loved being there! Worth every penny!!!
