About

Rick Ross on Tour

When performing, the boss of Miami trades his unassailable cool for shouting and sweat. Stalking the stage in sunglasses, Ross performs hit after hit, touching on solo tunes like "Hustlin'" and "B.M.F.," which helped transform modern hip-hop, to the collabs he's done with Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, DJ Khaled, French Montana, Ace Hood and Skrillex. A rap superstar, Rick Ross has performed at Rolling Loud, Wireless Festival, Made in America, OVO Fest and at gigs across Europe and Africa. In 2011 he toured as part of Lil Wayne's I Am Music II tour and in 2019 headlined his own Port of Miami 2 tour.

Rick Ross in Concert

A titan of outsize boasts, booming bass and trunk-caving hits, Rick Ross is a hip-hop icon with one of the genre's most reliable and formidable discographies. Raised in Carol City, Florida, the artist born William Leonard Roberts II was writing and performing rhymes as early as junior high but ultimately shined as a high school football star. Working with Miami indie label Slip-N-Slide Records, he emerged as Rick Ross in 2002. After then signing to Def Jam, he became an ambassador of trap music with his bold single "Hustlin'" and platinum-certified debut Port of Miami in 2006. Ross would ultimately record with a who's who of hip-hop — Kanye West, Jay-Z, Drake, Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj — and remain a consistent, bosslike presence through more than a decade of evolving hip-hop trends. His Maybach Music Group imprint helped exploding rappers like Meek Mill, Wale, French Montana and Gunplay. In 2016, he would even take a small detour into EDM with "Purple Lamborghini," a Skrillex collaboration that became the lead track on the soundtrack to Suicide Squad. In 2019, Ross released his 10th album, Port of Miami 2, also the 10th record in a row to land in the Top 10 of the Billboard 200.

  • Unpleased Queen

On April 1, 2022 I attend the Legend of Hip Hop Concert. This was my second time attending this particular concert. The first time I was pleased until all the drama with Lil Boosie.. Rap concerts promote the vibe, the prices, hype and energy when promoting concerts. I was very pleased with the energy TI and Jeezy perform .. However Rick Ross was a hot mess. I was very disappointed.. I was really excited to see him. Rick Ross seem very tired. He did not seem to have hyped the crowd at all. Rick Ross eyes were bloody red. Eyes look like he wasn't feeling well or sleepy. Seems like the concert ran short. Myself and the crowd were looking forward to seeing more performance. It was really a negative experience for a lot of people who went and was looking forward for a great show. I wasn't hyped at all with Rick Ross.. We were looking forward to seeing Gucci Mane and other rappers. What happened. I feel I need a refund for the show. Last of all the closing was a goddamn mess! People were behaving badly and acting out due to not being pleased with the concert.

  • Fun experience but do better with the sound!!

by Kee on 4/5/22State Farm Arena - AtlantaRating: 3 out of 5

TI and Jeezy were the highlights of the concert. Trina was beautiful as usual. We were looking forward to Gucci, but he didn't perform. The sound was, in one word, trash. You could hardly hear the artist do their thing, which is what we are paying for right? Mr. Ross was putting myself and those around to sleep. No, I'm serious, we were literally falling asleep. His performance was lackluster at best. Still love his music, just on the radio or Apple play, cause no ma'am. The security at the arena was very polite. The bathrooms were clean, easy in and out. The drinks were great! We had regular margaritas and strawberry margaritas and they weren't too expensive. The food is average, it served it's purpose. We had wings and fries. Overall, we had a good time!

  • They upset me and my homegirls

by HARLZ on 4/5/22State Farm Arena - AtlantaRating: 1 out of 5

Paid 700 for 3 tickets and Gucci mane didn’t even come out. They didn’t announce him not being there or anything. The order they came out was boring. Rick Ross should have came out second and closed with t.I. Or jeezy. Everyone was literally sitting closing set waiting on Gucci. Please do better babe. Cuz I got pissed then me and my wife almost broke up. A divorce is way more than 700 please don’t do this shit again.

  • Bad sound

  • TERRIBLE!! WASTE OF MONEY!

by Mike Jxnes on 4/5/22State Farm Arena - AtlantaRating: 2 out of 5

One of the worst, IF NOT THE WORST concert I’ve ever been to! We paid for floor seats, they felt closer together than normally. We were not informed that Gucci was not going to show up. He was who most of us came go see. No explanation, no refund, the lights just came on & we were made to exit. Rick Ross was trash & we should have been told Gucci was not coming. He said he will make it up, I will be looking forward to it. Jeezy saved the entire show!

  • 2 missing performances

by Mickey on 4/5/22State Farm Arena - AtlantaRating: 2 out of 5

There was supposed to be 2 more performers to hit the stage before the concert was over. I want to know if the concert promoter going to get with these performers and try to make it up to their city.?

  • Not professional

by Leroy on 4/5/22State Farm Arena - AtlantaRating: 2 out of 5

Honestly when I first got there it definitely wasn’t the best experience. First of all I bought a ticket for parking , but it was nowhere to park when I got there smh. After that I tried to check in my damn tickets wouldn’t scan . So we wasted 20 or 30 mins trying to get in. After we finally got in we tried to find our seats which the people said our seats doesn’t exist anymore, I just felt like I spent too much money ,I spent 800$ on 3 tickets, I really think they should do better with organization fr.

  • Trina, Ti, Jezzy 100 & Gucci Mane as stated on the tickets

  • Advertising Discrepancy

    by B. S. on 4/5/22State Farm Arena - AtlantaRating: 2 out of 5

The tour was advertised to have Rick Ross, TI, Jeezy, 2 Chainz and Gucci Mane as performers. TI, Jeezy and Ross were the only acts that performed.

  • Disappointed

    by B. S. on 4/5/22State Farm Arena - AtlantaRating: 3 out of 5

The show made it seem as though all acts would’ve performed but two didn’t.

  • Felt cheated with other artists performance or the lack of

by Monnie on 4/5/22State Farm Arena - AtlantaRating: 3 out of 5

TI and Jeezy were great DJ drama kept the crowd entertained.. Trina wasn’t and enthusiastic until the end of her set and she appeared to look pregnant. I was extremely disappointed in Rick Ross performance he at some point appeared to be in a daze. I wish Gucci Mane should up it would have been the best ending to the show versus just turning the lights on and everyone not knowing what to do.

  • 1 of the main performers not showing up

by Dee on 4/5/22State Farm Arena - AtlantaRating: 3 out of 5

Show would have been outstanding but 1 of the main performers which was Gucci man did not show and we was not informed he would not show. Every indication was that he would be performing until the end when they just turned lights on. Not sure if something happen last minute or he just decided not to come out but horrible to be 1 of the headliner and not come out

  • Enjoy the show

by Chermaine on 4/5/22State Farm Arena - AtlantaRating: 3 out of 5

I enjoyed the show except for when rick ross came out the dj in the back and his speaker over power the front. So I had a hard time understanding what he was saying. Which cause the crowd to not be as tune in. I could hear Jeezy and he was amazing.

  • Ripped off

by Tracey Holman on 4/5/22State Farm Arena - AtlantaRating: 2 out of 5

The concert was a rip off. I understand things happen, but wats the chances of 3 of the artists on the line up not being there? I actually drove almost 3 hours to see Gucci and he wasn’t there, neither was fabulous or Trina. Overall I’m very disappointed

  • Rick Ross was OK! But he’s not a show closer.

by KeKe on 4/5/22State Farm Arena - AtlantaRating: 3 out of 5

T.I. or JEEZY should have closed the show. From much larger catalog to the best energy as a performer. Ross should have went after Trina. Was disappointed that Gucci nor Future showed as they were on the line up-I simply like to get what I pay for.

  • Disappointed‼️

by AK on 4/5/22State Farm Arena - AtlantaRating: 1 out of 5

I waited almost 2 years to see this show! The show constantly was postponed! Came all the way from Ohio to realize the people for this show kept changing. Then for DJ DRAMA to lie about artist being in the building, they never even came out! I came to see GUCCI AND JEEZY, GUCCI never even came out. They never even said he was not coming out! He was on the screen as one of the ARTIST and still no show! I need some of my money back and it was my BIRTHDAY!

  • Nice experience

by Neka on 4/5/22State Farm Arena - AtlantaRating: 4 out of 5

The food was great! The line up was even better. All the artist did a great job. The sound at State Farm stadium was terrible. We could barley here the artist and what they were saying. Thank god we knew the lyrics. T.I. Was my absolute favorite of them all and of course Jeezy! But overall all the performances were good
