About

Rick Ross on Tour

When performing, the boss of Miami trades his unassailable cool for shouting and sweat. Stalking the stage in sunglasses, Ross performs hit after hit, touching on solo tunes like "Hustlin'" and "B.M.F.," which helped transform modern hip-hop, to the collabs he's done with Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, DJ Khaled, French Montana, Ace Hood and Skrillex. A rap superstar, Rick Ross has performed at Rolling Loud, Wireless Festival, Made in America, OVO Fest and at gigs across Europe and Africa. In 2011 he toured as part of Lil Wayne's I Am Music II tour and in 2019 headlined his own Port of Miami 2 tour.

Rick Ross in Concert

A titan of outsize boasts, booming bass and trunk-caving hits, Rick Ross is a hip-hop icon with one of the genre's most reliable and formidable discographies. Raised in Carol City, Florida, the artist born William Leonard Roberts II was writing and performing rhymes as early as junior high but ultimately shined as a high school football star. Working with Miami indie label Slip-N-Slide Records, he emerged as Rick Ross in 2002. After then signing to Def Jam, he became an ambassador of trap music with his bold single "Hustlin'" and platinum-certified debut Port of Miami in 2006. Ross would ultimately record with a who's who of hip-hop — Kanye West, Jay-Z, Drake, Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj — and remain a consistent, bosslike presence through more than a decade of evolving hip-hop trends. His Maybach Music Group imprint helped exploding rappers like Meek Mill, Wale, French Montana and Gunplay. In 2016, he would even take a small detour into EDM with "Purple Lamborghini," a Skrillex collaboration that became the lead track on the soundtrack to Suicide Squad. In 2019, Ross released his 10th album, Port of Miami 2, also the 10th record in a row to land in the Top 10 of the Billboard 200.

by Ashley on 6/1/22F.G. Clark Activity Center - Southern University - Baton RougeRating: 3 out of 5

So it started off good with Juvenile, but after that it was tragic. It was well over a hour when the next act came on. I think it could have been better due to the acts that were lined up!

by Shai on 4/13/22State Farm Arena - AtlantaRating: 1 out of 5

We bought our tickets early and Im guessing due to slow sales they dropped price almost $100 than what I paid. I went to same concert Oct 2021 and was cheated out of seeing Rick Ross this time we was cheated out of seeing Gucci Mane. Not happy that promoter doesnt make sure we see all the acts we pay for

  • Okay

by Landa on 4/12/22State Farm Arena - AtlantaRating: 3 out of 5

The entertainers were good. However, the sound was off. There was an echo during Ti’s performance. I could barely understand the artists. The music drowned out their voices. Gucci mane was a no-show. The concert ended abruptly. Rick Ross left the stage then the lights came on. I was expecting Gucci Mane.

  • Disappointing

by Meache on 4/8/22State Farm Arena - AtlantaRating: 3 out of 5

Trina was ok. TI did good and represented the city!! Jezzy did excellent, performance was good!! Rick Ross was horrible!! If anything he should have came out after Trina. His performance was bad and he just left off the stage without saying anything to the crowd. I will not be attending another show with him performing.

  • Blah

by Blessed on 4/8/22State Farm Arena - AtlantaRating: 3 out of 5

T.I. And jezzy was phenomenal...Trina was good. Rick Rosss ummmm no. Ross was boring. Gucci didn't even show out which was disappointing so I want some of my money back

  • Awful Show

by Alia on 4/6/22State Farm Arena - AtlantaRating: 1 out of 5

Concert scheduled to start: 7:00 pm Actual start time: 7:40 Concert end time: 11:40 Pros: DJ Drama was good Cons: Gucci didn't show up and no reason was given they just turned on the lights after Rick Ross, sound quality was terrible and everything had an echo, Trina said there was "bad vibe tonight" and it showed, Rick Ross wasn't that great and because of the echo we could only really hear his Hype Man and not him, whole event seemed thrown together. Would not recommend.

  • All BAD

    by K.Malik on 4/6/22State Farm Arena - AtlantaRating: 1 out of 5

I paid $400+ for my two tickets, I brought the tickets because I wanted to see Gucci Mane.My heart was broke when he didn’t come out.. I will not go to another concert. Soooo sad

  • Rick could've been better

by Mz Lyte on 4/6/22State Farm Arena - AtlantaRating: 4 out of 5

The concert as a whole was cool. I think Rick Ross could've been better. The energy changed once he came on stage. T.I. And Jeezy were definite showstoppers!!!

  • Not worth what I paid

by CB on 4/5/22State Farm Arena - AtlantaRating: 1 out of 5

If ever I have to wait two hours for someone to come out and perform… Then, there’s a problem! I think this was something the promoters should have fixed the time for each performer should have been spaced out in the show would have been continuous. They crammed four performers in two hours… We waited for two hours for the last performer to come! I want my money back!!!

  • A NoShow

by Mango on 4/5/22State Farm Arena - AtlantaRating: 1 out of 5

I was so angry Gucci Mane was a no show. He was the only reason i purchased a set tickets for almost 500 and then the price dropped a few days before the show..I just wanted to see Gucci thats it thats all..If he wasnt a headliner i wouldn't have come

    by J on 4/5/22State Farm Arena - AtlantaRating: 1 out of 5

  • Where’s Gucci

by Maryjane on 4/5/22State Farm Arena - AtlantaRating: 3 out of 5

I was very disappointed that Gucci Mane wasn’t at the concert. That’s the reason I bought the tickets: Gucci mane, Ti, and Jeezy. I had a good time but when I found out Gucci mane wasn’t there I was instantly disappointed.
