About

Rick Ross on Tour

When performing, the boss of Miami trades his unassailable cool for shouting and sweat. Stalking the stage in sunglasses, Ross performs hit after hit, touching on solo tunes like "Hustlin'" and "B.M.F.," which helped transform modern hip-hop, to the collabs he's done with Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, DJ Khaled, French Montana, Ace Hood and Skrillex. A rap superstar, Rick Ross has performed at Rolling Loud, Wireless Festival, Made in America, OVO Fest and at gigs across Europe and Africa. In 2011 he toured as part of Lil Wayne's I Am Music II tour and in 2019 headlined his own Port of Miami 2 tour.

Rick Ross in Concert

A titan of outsize boasts, booming bass and trunk-caving hits, Rick Ross is a hip-hop icon with one of the genre's most reliable and formidable discographies. Raised in Carol City, Florida, the artist born William Leonard Roberts II was writing and performing rhymes as early as junior high but ultimately shined as a high school football star. Working with Miami indie label Slip-N-Slide Records, he emerged as Rick Ross in 2002. After then signing to Def Jam, he became an ambassador of trap music with his bold single "Hustlin'" and platinum-certified debut Port of Miami in 2006. Ross would ultimately record with a who's who of hip-hop — Kanye West, Jay-Z, Drake, Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj — and remain a consistent, bosslike presence through more than a decade of evolving hip-hop trends. His Maybach Music Group imprint helped exploding rappers like Meek Mill, Wale, French Montana and Gunplay. In 2016, he would even take a small detour into EDM with "Purple Lamborghini," a Skrillex collaboration that became the lead track on the soundtrack to Suicide Squad. In 2019, Ross released his 10th album, Port of Miami 2, also the 10th record in a row to land in the Top 10 of the Billboard 200.

by Angry fan on 4/5/22State Farm Arena - AtlantaRating: 3 out of 5

Ti, jeezy, Trina, and Ross did their thing but where was Gucci and 2chainz? If I pay my money to see certain artist they should perform.

  • Gucci didn't even show up!!!

by Steph on 4/4/22State Farm Arena - AtlantaRating: 3 out of 5

Gucci Mane didn't show and they didn't tell us that he wasn't coming. I think they owed us that! He was a part of the lineup and a main reason many ppl got the tickets. At the end of the show there were a lot of angry individuals!

  • Terrible

by Valerie on 4/4/22State Farm Arena - AtlantaRating: 2 out of 5

The show started late. Trinas energy and dj was offbeat. Jezzy was ok. Ross made me sleepy. T.I made the show. Dont forget Gucci never showed!

  • Lackluster

by Al on 4/4/22State Farm Arena - AtlantaRating: 1 out of 5

Rick Ross wasn’t motivated for this show. He turned his back to the audience multiple times and had his cousin out there as his hype man. He was not legend caliber this night, He should have been the the first act and TI should have closed.

  • In Disbelief

by A Real Fan on 4/4/22State Farm Arena - AtlantaRating: 2 out of 5

Ross show didn’t meet the expectations of a Head Liner. TI had the best show and Jeezy was right behind him at #2……………watched folks head toward the exits about halfway thru Ross’s set. And not to mention Gucci was a no-show.

  • Artist were great Gucci didnt show and that’s what I paid fo

by Fly Derrick on 4/4/22State Farm Arena - AtlantaRating: 4 out of 5

I enjoyed the concert. Each performer did a fantastic job! The access to the concert was very easy with the scanning of the tickets… I will be shopping through Ticketmaster a lot

  • Never again

by Londa on 4/4/22State Farm Arena - AtlantaRating: 3 out of 5

I really thought this go around it was going ti be better then last year but once again we pay to see people that we didn’t get to see… Gucci was a no show and at the end Rick Ross didn’t say thank you for coming nothing lights just came on and it was over… I have been disappointed both times they came so never again.. But I want to say TI did his thing so thanks king I came for you anyways

  • Hmmmm

by Awb on 4/4/22State Farm Arena - AtlantaRating: 3 out of 5

The only reason why I gave a 3 star rating was due to DJ Trama, Trina and TI who were great ….EVERYONE else was underwhelming to say the least (Jeezy and Rick Ross). And the fact that Gucci Mane was not there and. Not mentioned that he wouldn’t (not good at all). Oh and let’s not forget the show started an hour late, there were multiple random performers used as “fillers”.

  • The experience

by Bigtime on 4/4/22State Farm Arena - AtlantaRating: 3 out of 5

Gucci Man not showing up horrible for the integrity of the Atlanta show #2. Considering the 1 fist show was cut short because two artists had beef and a issue with security. In which no refunds or discounts being offered. I had high expectations…. T.I. Headline the show!!! , Jeezy was on fire!!!

  • It could have been better

by Nicole k on 4/4/22State Farm Arena - AtlantaRating: 2 out of 5

The last time I came to State Farm Arena it was called Philips Arena the reason why I haven't been there is because of seating the sound of their concerts I wanted to go to a concert because we've been in a pandemic for over 3 years I was assuming that the artist would be more appreciative and energized about performing. T.I and Jeezy did great, trina and rick ross were lazy with their performance and Gucci never showed up. The amount of money state farm arena put in to revamped it should have rearrange the seating.I made the best out of it but i will go to other's venues with better seating and sound and if rick ross or trina is on the ticket or tour i will pass on it

  • Trouble

by Yo on 4/4/22State Farm Arena - AtlantaRating: 1 out of 5

Never want to see him perform again. It was very very bad performance

  • Artists didn’t show

    by T.E on 4/4/22State Farm Arena - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

Rick Ross and other artists did great!!! Very disappointed that one of the major headlining artists, Gucci Mane, we paid to see did not show up and nothing has been said from the venue or Ticketmaster to compensate us.

    by S. T. on 4/4/22State Farm Arena - AtlantaRating: 1 out of 5

This is not the lineup l paid for. Trina was not on the lineup and 2Chainz and Gucci were a no show. Last year Lil Boosie acted a fool and the show was cut short and Rick Ross didn’t perform. I am sick of being ripped off. The Atlanta Show was on April 1st April Fool’s Day and l totally feel like l was fooled yet again for a False Advertisement Concert. I work hard for my money to see the entertainment that l pay for and yet this is the second time l feel like my money has been taken but yet l bet the artist are getting paid in full. It’s not fair.

  • Gucci Mane a no show

    by M&M on 4/4/22State Farm Arena - AtlantaRating: 4 out of 5

Pissed that Gucci Mane did show up! One of the only reason we wanted to go!

  • Dope

by Swannetta on 4/4/22State Farm Arena - AtlantaRating: 4 out of 5

I enjoyed myself but Gucci Mane did not show up. No one said he was not there. Everyone cleared the stage and turned on the lights.
