Rick Ross on Tour
When performing, the boss of Miami trades his unassailable cool for shouting and sweat. Stalking the stage in sunglasses, Ross performs hit after hit, touching on solo tunes like "Hustlin'" and "B.M.F.," which helped transform modern hip-hop, to the collabs he's done with Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, DJ Khaled, French Montana, Ace Hood and Skrillex. A rap superstar, Rick Ross has performed at Rolling Loud, Wireless Festival, Made in America, OVO Fest and at gigs across Europe and Africa. In 2011 he toured as part of Lil Wayne's I Am Music II tour and in 2019 headlined his own Port of Miami 2 tour.
Rick Ross in Concert
A titan of outsize boasts, booming bass and trunk-caving hits, Rick Ross is a hip-hop icon with one of the genre's most reliable and formidable discographies. Raised in Carol City, Florida, the artist born William Leonard Roberts II was writing and performing rhymes as early as junior high but ultimately shined as a high school football star. Working with Miami indie label Slip-N-Slide Records, he emerged as Rick Ross in 2002. After then signing to Def Jam, he became an ambassador of trap music with his bold single "Hustlin'" and platinum-certified debut Port of Miami in 2006. Ross would ultimately record with a who's who of hip-hop — Kanye West, Jay-Z, Drake, Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj — and remain a consistent, bosslike presence through more than a decade of evolving hip-hop trends. His Maybach Music Group imprint helped exploding rappers like Meek Mill, Wale, French Montana and Gunplay. In 2016, he would even take a small detour into EDM with "Purple Lamborghini," a Skrillex collaboration that became the lead track on the soundtrack to Suicide Squad. In 2019, Ross released his 10th album, Port of Miami 2, also the 10th record in a row to land in the Top 10 of the Billboard 200.
He put on a great show. But we had to wait hours for him to come out to perform
Showed up 45 min late at least. Only performed for about 45 min left and didn’t even say anything before he left the stage.
Good energy, amazing crowd, performance was off the charts and he performed all my favorite songs ❣️❣️❣️
Rick Ross was great but we waited over two hours for him to come on and then it was only a 45 minute set and the concert was over. He also did all songs that were collaborations, he hardly did any of his own songs. It was a great concert but overall pretty disappointing.
The show started over an hour & a half late. No artists performed before him & the DJ was fair. I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED!
Waited 2 hours for him to show up and only performed for maybe 30-45 mins
I loved the environment, great show, and good memories
One of the best events I have attended in a while! Do more events like this!
My husband and I loved it and would go again in a heartbeat. The selection of artists was amazing.
From opening to close the night was outstanding! Hats off to all of the artists that displayed such wonderful talents. I hope I get a chance to attend something like this agin in the future. Just beautiful!
Wow wow wow! One of the BEST SHOWS EVER! Orchestra Noir led by Maestro Jason Rogers was on fire! Mapy, Sainted, DJ Sam Sneak and Rick Ross did not disappoint and are all super talented! The audience was engaged the whole time. It was sooooo much fun. This show should definitely tour other cities and perhaps be offered for purchase on BET perhaps… truly a magical evening! Rick Ross’ Maybach Music paired well with the sound of Orchestra Noir! This was truly a remarkable evening showcasing black excellence! I am elated that I was there, my spirit is full!
Simply put it was utterly amazing.. The pinnacle of music Ross’s caviar and luxurious sound with the first and only ALL Black orchestra in world made for an evening in heaven..
A spectacular evening unlike anything I've experienced. Some creative mind masterfully executed a blend of music styles that not many would have assumed could work. Mix trap, gospel and classical...no problem. Standing slow clap for Red Bull, Rozay, Orchestra Noir et al. I would recommend to anyone and I would certainly be interested in seeing another production perhaps with a different featured artist.
This show was truly amazing! This was my second time seeing Orchestra Noir and it was truly a blessing. Mapy and the Sainted Trap Choir are now on my list to see whenever possible and Rick Ross was the cherry on the top. My only negative was the late start but the show made up for it.
This event was planned to perfection, all the way down to the smallest of details. From beginning to end this event was amazing. Redbull this is exactly what the city needed and needs more of. A major shoutout to Maegan Moguel + team. This was the event of the year!
Black excellence amazingly displayed in classical and hip hop form!!!
Experience was amazing! Orchestra was amazing! Rozay was amazing! His songs sounded so good with the orchestra!
Rick Ross, Orchestra Noir, Sainted Trap Choir and Mapy the Violinist were absolutely amazing! Please come back!
I had a great time! Parking lot was expensive but worth it!
He showed up at 1 AM and walked off the stage at 1:40 AM. He’s a music artist, not a comedian. Pretty awful performance for how long he made his fans wait.
