Rick Ross on Tour

When performing, the boss of Miami trades his unassailable cool for shouting and sweat. Stalking the stage in sunglasses, Ross performs hit after hit, touching on solo tunes like "Hustlin'" and "B.M.F.," which helped transform modern hip-hop, to the collabs he's done with Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, DJ Khaled, French Montana, Ace Hood and Skrillex. A rap superstar, Rick Ross has performed at Rolling Loud, Wireless Festival, Made in America, OVO Fest and at gigs across Europe and Africa. In 2011 he toured as part of Lil Wayne's I Am Music II tour and in 2019 headlined his own Port of Miami 2 tour.

Rick Ross in Concert

A titan of outsize boasts, booming bass and trunk-caving hits, Rick Ross is a hip-hop icon with one of the genre's most reliable and formidable discographies. Raised in Carol City, Florida, the artist born William Leonard Roberts II was writing and performing rhymes as early as junior high but ultimately shined as a high school football star. Working with Miami indie label Slip-N-Slide Records, he emerged as Rick Ross in 2002. After then signing to Def Jam, he became an ambassador of trap music with his bold single "Hustlin'" and platinum-certified debut Port of Miami in 2006. Ross would ultimately record with a who's who of hip-hop — Kanye West, Jay-Z, Drake, Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj — and remain a consistent, bosslike presence through more than a decade of evolving hip-hop trends. His Maybach Music Group imprint helped exploding rappers like Meek Mill, Wale, French Montana and Gunplay. In 2016, he would even take a small detour into EDM with "Purple Lamborghini," a Skrillex collaboration that became the lead track on the soundtrack to Suicide Squad. In 2019, Ross released his 10th album, Port of Miami 2, also the 10th record in a row to land in the Top 10 of the Billboard 200.

  • Rick's Stay Skemming was unforgettable!!!

by Astoria1 on 3/15/12Manhattan Center Hammerstein Ballroom - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

The event was very very interesting. I really enjoyed myself just for seeing Rick Ross live on stage that really made my day. When you hear the songs on the radio it is different from when it's been played very loud on stage, that was the very best moment of my life.

by CMAMI on 3/15/12Manhattan Center Hammerstein Ballroom - New YorkRating: 4 out of 5

I had a great time, I just did not like the ending! Rick Ross just walk off the stage without saying nothing, I thought something happened!

  • MMG Was Epic

by JBurkett on 3/13/12Blue Cross Arena - RochesterRating: 5 out of 5

The crowd was on their feet the entire show! Bottom line it was crazy and a night ill remember forever.

  • Sound check was horrible. Artists Were lazy

    by Cad12 on 3/13/12Blue Cross Arena - RochesterRating: 2 out of 5

The artists did not perform enough real music. They sampled drake more than Rick Ross even rapped. Meek mill was by far the highlight of the show I just wish the rest would have come to actually perform.

You know I really didn't think Rick Ross would be that good but it was enjoyable. He interacted with the audience. Did some famous songs and Jerimah did Birthday Sex on piano which was honestly the highlight of that whole concert. Overall I would say Rick Ross and Jerimah were solid performers and I would recommend seeing them to someone else it was a good show.

  • Maybach Music & Brick Squad put it down!

    by Nicole319 on 3/4/12Bojangles' Coliseum - CharlotteRating: 5 out of 5

Waka's acapella versions were great, Rick Ross was amazing. This show exceeded my expectatations, I can't wait for the next 1!

  • Fat Trel and Ross killed it!!

by lenoxtre on 2/28/12DAR Constitution Hall - WashingtonRating: 2 out of 5

The entertainers did a great job. The event wasn't as packed as it should've been. The event wasn't even half full when Ross stepped out on stage. There wasn't enough advertising. Constitution Hall is the worst place to find parking if you've never been there before. The drink selection was terrible. There was absolutely no security check at the front door. This event had great performers but it was definitely poorly planned and executed.

  • Dissapointed, but still had fun

by uptowncookie on 2/27/12DAR Constitution Hall - WashingtonRating: 3 out of 5

Was Jerimah there?? I was expecting to see some of the other MMG artist. Wale at least since he's from the area and expected Jerimah to come out when Rick Ross performed That Way. Rick Ross was great, although it only lasted an hour, I enojoyed his performance

The concert was pretty awful except when Rick Ross got onstage. The concert started an hour late and I don't know why the tickets were so expensive when there were at least 200 empty seats. The opening group from DC sucked and were awful. Jeremih really needs to work on his vocals before performing again. I did enjoy Rick Ross, but I think he needs to open for a bigger artist or perform in a smaller intimate location. Overall, I wish I had used $200 towards tickets to see Madonna instead.

  • Why so late

by KtAlexis on 2/25/12DAR Constitution Hall - WashingtonRating: 1 out of 5

I know that the Knicks were playing the Heat but that's no reason to be late.....Jeremiah has 2 albums he could of been on time. Not only was it late Rick Ross didn't come on till 9 and did a 1 hr set......I paid for good seats but it was so empty I should of bought crappy seats and walked to the front like everyone else. They weren't even telling people to go back to their seats just in the isles blocking people.....

  • Rick Ross was awful and he knew it!!!

by DCElle on 2/25/12DAR Constitution Hall - WashingtonRating: 1 out of 5

Rick Ross' performance was awful! He clearly performed based on size of audience. It was not a sold out crowd and as such he decided to give a terrible performance!

  • You Came to DC and did WHATTTTTTTTTTT?

by ExMrsRickRoss on 2/24/12DAR Constitution Hall - WashingtonRating: 1 out of 5

    I can't believe Rick Ross would do this to DC???? For Real? The show was over by 10:30 he didn't perform any of his latest songs. I have been to MANY shows, and this by far to me was the worst! I paid $116 per ticket and they sang along with their cd's??? I'm confused.... Then I look at the Line up for other cities, it's much better than the line up in DC, Rick Ross and Jeremiah?? I have never seen Constitution Hall that Empty, I wish I would've passed on this concert I would have an extra $232 in my pocket! Rick Ross I'm reallllllllllllllllll disappointed in you. :{

The show was awful! It was suppose to start at 8 but the 1st artist didn't come out till 10:45. My friend was back stage n told me that the artistes were there by 9 but hadn't got their money so they weren't going to perform!! I'd never go again!!

I have been to many concerts of all genres, venues, locations etc and this was by far the worst concert experience. I would never attend another concert at this venue. After waiting for an hour and a half in the freezing rain to be frisked we thought we had missed half of the show. Little did we know the show had not start and would not start for another hour and a half (three hours after the scheduled start time of 8pm). I understand they needed more security for this event but they were definitely unprepared and should have hired more people. This show was very unorganized. The DJ's had no clue who was coming out next- Waka Flocka even came out after the headliner Rick Ross! I have seen Rick Ross twice when he toured with Lil Wayne last year and it was amazing. His preformance for the Stash Bash was no where near as good. The whole show was a joke and definitely not worth the $150 we paid for our seats!!!

  • by Anonymous on 2/1/12Webster Bank Arena - BridgeportRating: 1 out of 5

The concert started late and i think some of the money should have been refunded. The wait between each artist was terrible.Such a shame the perfomances were ok but could have been better. There were audience members falling asleep because of the long wait. Then the monitor cameras were pointed to the dj not the perfermors.Didnt get to see Wacka Flocka Flame due to long wait and tired.

  • Stash Bash Concert

    by mm29 on 1/30/12Webster Bank Arena - BridgeportRating: 1 out of 5

The DJ's were the highlight of my night, they played good music, only negative to them were that kept repeating themselves whenever they would do random shout outs. They kept saying Rick Ross is in the house, and this person and that person, and misleading us when the performance was going to start. The show was suppose to be for 8am and didn't start until 1035pm with the opening act. Very long wait process, i became irritated and fustrated. I was exhausted considering it was a day out the working week. I had a headache and could not stay for the entire show since it started so late, i left at 1pm and it was still going. I was told the law in CT for a concert to last until is 12midnight, so where does the law apply here. Customers should get refunded for those who could not stay any longer. I had a ride set up, and he had to wait 2 hrs after the fact. This concert was very unorganized. It showed in its entirety. On stage setup was unorganized, performers being announced were incorrect, it wasn't clear who was on stage when they were performing. By far the worst concert i have ever been to. Then you read in the newspaper the next couple of days after, that the whole time the performers were late because they were sitting in their coach bus in the back waiting to get paid. What kind of crap is that. So they would not perform until they got paid. Really!!! Then the vendors closed early, i could not get any food or beverages after 1030pm. There were people smoking cigarettes and marijuana and i was there with my 15 year old sister. The seats were not labeld very clear, everyone was sitting in wrong seats. Just so very unorganized and not what i expected at all.

  • Rick Ross stash bash

    by Croch7 on 1/30/12Webster Bank Arena - BridgeportRating: 1 out of 5

It started very late, 3 hours to be exact. The performances were very boring. I waited in line for an hour and the arena was only half full so I don't understand why there was such a hold up. People were falling asleep during performances and were disappointed by the artists.

  • Great Artist but Unorganized

    by Peaches1006 on 1/30/12Webster Bank Arena - BridgeportRating: 2 out of 5

The show was a joke to many people like myself. We waited almost 3 hours past the start time for the 1st artist to come to the stage. The artist did a good job but the organization of the event was very poorly done. Never again will I go to Stash House Concert ........

  • Rick Ross really is BOSS

    by danimr35 on 1/29/12Webster Bank Arena - BridgeportRating: 4 out of 5

Rick Ross and his crew Wale and Meek Milly were awesome. The crowd was like a circus and the other acts besides him were a joke but it was worth all that to see MMG live. I'd do it again in a heart beat, and pay the same price for good tickets again too.
