I have been a musician all of my life and when I tell you that these musicians were having fun.....indeed they were having fun with each other and the audience......

  • Great music...Disappointing location

by ValetParking on 11/9/15Andiamo Celebrity Showroom - WarrenRating: 4 out of 5

BWB was outstanding!!! They played a great selection of music, old and new. We wish that Kirk would play a medley, similar to Norman Brown (Afterthought, Over the Rainbow, etc.). We are just a little bit biased because we saw him play those songs years ago in Austin and San Antonio. The sound system/acoustics, camera work, and lighting were just average in this venue. The seating was disappointing, crowded, and uncomfortable.

  • Jazz at its finest

This was a awesome concert. It was my first time seeing Kirk Whalum & Rick Braun, has seen Nroman Brown several times. These guys performing together was AWESOME!!!! They played their own hits as well as hits that they have together. Some of the seating in Andiamo's was not the best, but the sounding was awesome. I love this venue and hope they bring more acts including this one back in the future.

  • Amazing talent on one stage

    by JHP1213 on 4/20/15Berks Jazz Fest - ReadingRating: 5 out of 5

This event was wonderful! As a music and media producer, have great appreciation for the love these guys bring to the table for their talent. My guest, a composer for film and television have played with most of the artists featured so having him rave about their performance was an added treat! Excellent! Excellent! Excellent!

Good crowd, great price, and there were so many awesome artists including Gerald Albright, Rick Braun, Peter White, Marion Meadows, Everett Hart, Paul White, Jay Rowe, Bobby Lyle, Kirk Whalum, and more! This was my first trip to Berks Jazz Jam but it won't be my last. We had a GREAT time!

Amazing show with Steve Cole kicking it off and Rick Braun giving a 5 star performance. Extra treat with Tom Braxton.

    by TauOmegaChi on 8/19/13Charlotte Uptown Jazz Fest 2013 - Charlotte,Rating: 5 out of 5

The first night hyped you up for the second night. The second night - The Sax and the City (Meadows/Taylor/Ingala) lineup laid it out. BWB did the damn thing; it was the place to be bobbing your head and rocking the with cool crew. It was worth the drive from Jersey. I plan on attending the 2014 venue.

Needed a little more Sax n the City, but overall it was great. I would like to see Dave Koz and Keiko Matsui too.

  • Under The Stars. WOW!

by JAZ3 on 6/24/13Uptown Amphitheatre at NC Music Factory - CharlotteRating: 5 out of 5

The musicians really jammed and gave their all into the perfomance. I really felt that the live version of them playing was even better than the CD. as a member of audience i truley got the feeling that they all loved what they do, and it really came out in their performance. It was well worth all the money that I spent to attend the show, and i do plan to attend again next year.

  • Chrisette Michele was great with BWB

by MommyMTH on 5/28/13Chastain Park Amphitheatre - AtlantaRating: 4 out of 5

Concert was good..not sold out so I wish they had a way to have audience move in closer to fill in the empty seats. Thought I purchased a table but was not..I guess I shouldve protest when arrived that my row had no tables but the row in front and in the row behind had tables. Enjoyed the Michael Jackson rendition of the songs that BWB performed... well done!

  • Rick Braun & Richard Elliot

by MackinawMan on 2/16/13Scottish Rite Cathedral At Masonic Temple - DetroitRating: 5 out of 5

An awesome night at the Temple Theatre in Detroit. R&R were great & the openers demonstrated outstanding talent. Lansing, Michigan's own Phil Denny truly demonstrated that he belongs!!

Rick Braun and Richard Elliott put on an awesome performance. If you get a chance to catch them, do it. Valentines Day was never better.

  • Jazz Series was Excellent

    by Choochoo98 on 4/2/12The Paramount - HuntingtonRating: 4 out of 5

Pros: The concert was an interesting new venue for The Paramount. It was our first time at the theater since it's renovation & we were very impressed. We loved the intimate lounge look (i.e. round tables with table cloths and candles). Both Rick Braun & Richard Elliot were outstanding. The new sound system accentuated their & their bands talent beautifully. Cons: We thought the folding chairs were very uncomfortable after sitting for a long period of time. In addition, we noticed that both employees and patrons were using the emergency exit to go outside to smoke. The door was constantly opening (letting the cold air & smoke in) which was very much a distraction. Overall a wonderful experience.
