    Amazing show!

by Lorna44 on 12/30/09House of Blues Las Vegas - Las Vegas

The show was great. There was a good amount of energy. Street Dogs opened, giving it kind of a punk atmosphere. I enjoyed this, as Reverend Horton Heat is difficult to classify. He did a good mix of older and newer songs. He even did a couple of Christmas songs. He and Jimmy even switched insturments at one point. Like I said, great show.

Reverend Horto Heat show , IMO

by BostonRocky on 10/10/09House of Blues San Diego - San Diego

Really enjoyed the show. Jim was on and the band was tight. Also appreciated JIm and the boys playing the "standards" as well as some cool tunes off the new album. The between song chatter was funny. Goofing with Jimbo was cool. Funny line "...so, I was with Brian Setzer and we were doing blow with eddie Van Halen....Did I tell that story already?........." It was a pleasure to watch RHH play up close.....I had me a real good time.

Rev. Horton Heat still going strong!

by SaphireButterfly on 10/9/09House of Blues San Diego - San Diego

Rev. Horton Heat gave a great show, starting with country-influenced material from their newest album and culminating with some fan favorites. The show picked up speed halfway through their hour-and-a-half long set, and soon enough pits formed in the crowd. This band has been around for many years, and the show included songs from album one all the way to today. All in all a wonderful rockabilly show!

Sixth time feels like the first

by andrewwillkill on 10/9/09House of Blues San Diego - San Diego

This is my sixth time at a Reverend concert and, while they were definitely more on fire last time I saw them at San Diego HOB, they still cranked it out loud and heavy for 2 full hours. If you're looking for your money's worth on a concert, the Reverend has enough tunes to bury a mule and always some good banter.

    THE REV AND THE PUSS

by LISALAVA on 10/9/09House of Blues San Diego - San Diego

GREAT CONCERT! THE STAFF WAS PROFFESSIONAL AND VERY COOL. THE FUNNY THING ABOUT THESE TWO BANDS, IS NASHVILLE PUSSY IS MUCH BETTER LIVE THAN JUST LISTENING TO ON CD. AND THE REV, IS SOOOO MUCH BETTER WHEN YOU CAN ACTUALLY KNOW & HEAR THE LYRICS AND UNDERSTAND WHAT THE SONGS ARE ABOUT. THE WORDS OF THE REV ARE WHAT REALLY MAKE THE SONGS FREAKIN . AND I NOTICED FOR NEWBIES, WHO DON'T KNOW THE REV'S LYRICS, WHEN TOLD WHAT THEY WERE, BY ME SINGING THEIR YOUR EARS OVER THE MUSIC, THEY LOVED IT, BUT JUST STANDING THERE WATCHING, NOT SOOOO INTO IT. OVERALL..."WATCH" NASHVILLE, AND ALWAYS LISTEN TO YOUR REVEREND.

The Reverend maintains his rockabilly crown!!!

by tcmusic on 9/16/09Culture Room - Ft Lauderdale

The Reverend once again proved that he is the KING of rockabilly showmanship. With Jimbo slapping the boogie out his bass and Paul providing a hard driving back bone, the trio performed one of the best show Ft. Lauderdale has seen in quite a while.

Salvation on the road to damnation!!!

by TheOriginalBilly on 9/16/09Culture Room - Ft Lauderdale

What more could be said about one of the greatest rocko-syco-billy bands in the land? Not too much. If you've never seen The Reverend Horton Heat live, then you need to. Once you do you will instantly become a disciple. The show was as always flawless and afterwards Jim "The Rev" Heath and Jimbo had a meet and greet with fans (or disciples), and at this venue, that happens with them more times than not. The price of the show was less than they deserve. So put The Reverend Horton Heat in you band reminders, and go and see them, it will be well worth it.

    The show was AWESOME!

by AllAboutRedHat on 9/15/09Culture Room - Ft Lauderdale

Must have been one of the best shows I have been to. First time I've seen them live. The band played for about 2hours and they kicked ass!!! Some people, who should have not been there in the first place, didn't appreciate the mosh pit and all the dancing, but that's what made the show so unforgettable. Reverend rocked my world!

    Blisters on my feet!

    by dalilama2k on 9/11/09The Norva - Norfolk

Even though Nashville Pussy was a no-show, Nerve Scheme and The Reverend each put out twice as much music and madness to make up for it and DELIVERED. Each band played a full set, then a little more, then (after much enthusiastic demand from the crowd) came out for encores that lasted dang near a full set in themselves! The energy, stage prescence, and dynamic of Heat was absolutely electrifying, with beats and notes that demanded swing a'la slam dance. Infectious, exciting, and intoxicating.

    Reverend Horton Heat review

    by mark5610 on 9/11/09The Norva - Norfolk

The Reverend Horton Heat with The Nerve Scheme started an hour late my guess due to Nashville Pussy bailing out which was th emain reason I came out to the NORVA(boo). The Nerve Scheme Band songs all sounded the same and they were lame. Reverend Horton Heat show started out slow but as the band got going the wailed.

exactly what i was waiting for

by rockabella on 9/11/09The Norva - Norfolk

sounds exactly like the way he is recorded... although the music isn't too big in this area... it was nice to finally see him... we have been waiting FOREVER... and it lived up to our own hype and expectations!

The show was fantastic. Jimbo is amazing on bass. The Rev was on in every way. I'm never gonna miss a show if I can help it.

    The "Rev" was great!

by CKA55 on 7/27/09Grand Sierra Resort and Casino - Reno

This was a fun show. The music was fast and loud with clever lyrics. Psychobilly has its niche in Reno for sure. I would definitely see them again.

Reverend Horton Heat was totally forgettable

by Texascowboyrocker on 7/27/09House of Blues Dallas - Dallas

Boring... Every song sounded the same....same drum beat, same tempo , same lame guitar riffs, same bass lines, same mediocre singing.... The only thing that changed were the lyrics that weren't very good.... I can't believed I paid to hear them.....waste of my time and money even with the cheap tickets ...I don't know how they get audiences ..... I guess it's marketing and a cool name ... Great venue and good sound at the House of Blues Dallas !!....

Reverend Horton Heat as always was a blast!

by jlsdona on 7/27/09Pops - Sauget

I had never even heard of RHH before my husband drug me to a concert in Columbia, MO at the Blue Note. That was the best concert that I had ever been too! So when I heard they were coming to STL...I was there! They have so much energy and it just infects anyone watching and listening to them. You can't help but to move. The crowd is always a good mix of people, and I don't think I saw anyone standing still. I had never been to POPS before and it wan't near as dirty as I had heard or expected. Overall, we had a great time...RHH comes highly suggested no matter where they play.

    100% pure fun!

by lfarrimond on 7/26/09House of Blues Dallas - Dallas

Fantastic people watching! Great energy, hard-driving rock songs, just a touch of trashy beer-guzzlin country...what's not to like? Best of all, it was in the great House of Blues venue. If you can't have fun at a Rev show, I say you're just the type that won't have fun anywhere.

by RavenKeely on 7/26/09House of Blues Dallas - Dallas

I've seen Reverend Horton Heat several times now. They always put on an amazing show, and last night was no exception. Highly entertaining and incredibly proficient musicians. Check them out - you won't be disappointed!
