  • Great to see 2 classic LA bands

by Jazzy on 7/22/25Paramount Theatre - DenverRating: 4 out of 5

Los lobos was way to loud at beginning of show they did adjust but a little loud. Seems like they could have had the stack of speakers another 20 ft up. X was awesome sounded great. Seems like they used different sound systems. Xzena looked and sounded excellent. Wish they would have played for more then an hour.

  • Los Lobos, 5-Star, X, not so much

by boomboomer on 7/22/25Paramount Theatre - DenverRating: 1 out of 5

Los Lobos was the opening act and came playing some very early stuff. The set was all electric. Still, great. We came to see Los Lobos. X, honestly we had never heard of, but sat for a couple of songs just to see what they were about. Sorry. When their lead singer said, "How about Los Lobos, if it was me, I'd say that's good enough"....we took his advice.

  • Los Lobos and X celebrating 99 years of Music!

by WPOrion on 7/22/25Paramount Theatre - DenverRating: 5 out of 5

Hard to avoid having fun at this show, especially from the front row! Los Lobos and X delivered world class hits from yesterday and today in full-form. Nothing less than what we'd expect from these veterans of music. Must see! Find a Los Lobos & X show near you!!

  • X doesn’t miss a beat!

by Ironside Stevo on 1/3/25The Observatory North Park - San DiegoRating: 5 out of 5

This show proves that punk ain’t dead! The band was tight, enthusiastic, and ready to entertain. As good as I’ve seen in 45 years! Absolutely fun. I saw them at The Belly Up over the summer of ‘24 and thought at the time “This might be it for X”. They were lethargic and tired, made me feel bad! The Observatory show refreshed my faith in my favorite band though. Here’s to a lot more shows. Great band in a great venue! Thanks for a first class staff, especially the young lady running the ADA rows. That front, right seat along the rail is the best seat in the house, wheelchair or otherwise.

  • X is a great band

by Marcus86 on 1/2/25The Observatory North Park - San DiegoRating: 5 out of 5

The opening band sucked, but x puts on a great show. This was my first time seeing them but they sounded as good or even better than they did in the 80s when they recorded most of the songs. Watch em if you can!

  • Way to end of year and end of Tour

by Mary O on 1/2/25The Observatory North Park - San DiegoRating: 5 out of 5

X is the best! Loved seeing the last three shows at the observatory. Both at Santa Ana and in San Diego. Thank you X for the new album and rocking the past 47 years. Love the whole Crew

  • X at Observatory

by El Sid on 1/2/25The Observatory North Park - San DiegoRating: 5 out of 5

Authentic, energetic and passionate. Great to see the members of X put on this show after so many decades of music. Southern California audiences love them.

  • Still the bust punk Rock band EVER **X**

    by froger805 on 12/31/24The Observatory - Santa AnaRating: 5 out of 5

They can still bring it, clearly father time is catching up, but X has never disappointed me in 45 years of being a fan. I celebrated my 21st birthday with them in the 80s at the Palace in Hollywood and have been to over 50 shows in my life. Exene and John were as great as ever, I wish them the very best in their retirement. Thank you X, you will always be the X in Christmas.

  • The best

I've been following the band for a long time, and possibly the best shows ever

  • blast from the past and into the future

by xhead on 12/30/24The Observatory - Santa AnaRating: 5 out of 5

X delivered in every way. Hard and fast, slow and jazzy. Hard to believe they're all still together, and playing so well! Many of the old favorites, and in new arrangements using the vibe and sax. Exene is singing better than she did back in the day, John Doe still sounds great, DJ and Billy Zoom still playing strong. For any old So Cal punker from the 80s (or earlier), these guys are must see! Just wish more of them had gotten into the show, floor was half-filled with standing people. Standing. Felt a little awkward to be bouncing around and sing/shouting along like I used to 40+ years ago hehe but hey, that's how we used to do it... guess it's different these days... As for the Observatory, my first show there, but not the last. Great venue, small floor section for moving around, tiers for greater views for more people, "premium"seats in back. I had a premium seat (shared 4-person table) just in case I needed a break from the floor (I didn't!), but those seats are way too cramped. 2 seats side-by-side extend past the tiny table, and there's literally no room to turn the chair towards the stage as "shown"in Ticketmaster's seat selection image. So buy a ticket, yes, but don't but a premium seat ticket unless you're with 3 other smallish friends that you want to get cozy with. Parking was easy, $10 on night of show in the lot across the street. No need for VIP parking.
