The Reverend Horton Heat was spectacular!!

by 007007 on 7/26/09House of Blues Dallas - Dallas

The Reverend Horton Heat show was a spectacular show, like always! Their new songs were great but the classic RHH songs are the best.. Can't wait for them to come back to Dallas/Fort Worth!

The Rev was preaching with his music!

    by D541900 on 7/21/09First Avenue - Minneapolis

I was very impressed with the skill of each of the players. I enjoyed the stories that He would talk about before continuing on with playing more music.

Reverend Horton Heat was hot hot hot!

by WickedRed on 7/21/09First Avenue - Minneapolis

The Reverend put on yet another amazing show at First Avenue. The show was high energy, tons of fun and very interesting. I am excited to buy his new album...maybe just so I can play "Don't Take the Baby to the Liquor Store" over and over..

The healing powers of the Reverend

by BuckRighteous on 7/20/09Newport Music Hall - Columbus

Another fine sermon delivered by the Reverend. All my demons were cast aside as the Gretsch sang it's sweet, sweet song in the hands of the chosen Mr. Heat.

    The Reverend is badass!

by BuckeyePsychobilly on 7/17/09Newport Music Hall - Columbus

Great venue, very personal, and the show was fantastic. Not only does the Reverend play great music, he knows how to play to the crowd. Jimbo's bass is amazing too, simply badass.

    Amazing!

by StevethePirate on 7/16/09House of Blues New Orleans - New Orleans

That might've been the best show I've ever been to in my life. I've seen the Reverend about 7 or 8 times and they get better every time. My location might've help, though. I was literally front and center stage. At one point Jimbo and the Rev did a guitar riff right on my head. I could've actually reached out and touched the guitar. After the show, I started the crowd on "OLE OLE OLE" to entice the boys into an encore. It was successful and I was quite proud of myself. One of the greatest shows of my life!

    The Reverend Never Disappoints

by Keebler75 on 7/16/09Newport Music Hall - Columbus

Horton Heat consistently putts on one of the most energenic/entertaing shows . The Newport, inspite of its regular pungent smell and lack of air conditioning, is the best place in Columbus to catch a show: always sounds great, always affordable (this show was $5).

    Reverend was great as always!

by EvilAsh on 7/16/09House of Blues Houston - Houston

The show was great, sounded better than ever! They seemed right at home in the House of Blues, and the venue was awesome. The staff at the HOB was great, coming to take drink orders in the crowd, bartenders were friendly. The crowd had a great energy and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. Definately will return.

    Still kicking it!

by bball43 on 7/16/09House of Blues Houston - Houston

I've been watching the Rev since the early 90's. He's still got the great rock-a-billy sound and does a great show.

"The best Fathers Day gift I ever had."--My Father

by SCOPP on 7/15/09House of Blues Houston - Houston

I purchased tickets to this show as a Fathers Day gift for my father. He was around the scene in Houston in the 80's when Reverend Horton Heat was first starting their music career. I remember as a child being with my father and the Urban Animals while they did security for many acts, including Reverend Horton Heat! I grew up around these guys and their music and I have been to every show they have put on in Houston. My father, on the other hand, had fallen on hard times in the recent years and pretty much nothing could really cheer him up. After the concert on June 20, 2009, Fathers Day weekend, my father told me that "This is the best Fathers Day gift I ever had." Ever since then, it seems like he has had a better attitude and outlook on life. Amazing time, amazing venue, and an amazing band!

    One Kick Ass Show!!

by morpheus101010 on 7/15/09House of Blues Cleveland - Cleveland

Haven't seen RHH for about five years and am happy to report the show is as tight and rockin' as it ever was. The Rev hasn't lost his ability to get the audience psyched up and ready for more! Five Stars from me and my wife!

by HammerHead1 on 7/14/09Newport Music Hall - Columbus

The Reverand & the Band Rocked the house as always!!! The only difference between now and 10 years ago is they are all much better musicians. A little older, a little fatter sure but, there chops are the tightest in the biz!!!

Hallelujah! The Reverend rocked my world!!

by LibbyJean on 7/14/09Showbox at the Market - Seattle

I wasn't a religious person before, but now I am a firm believer......in the Reverend. They put on an amazing show, one of the best show's I have ever seen! They have such a commanding stage presence and incredible amount of energy. The anecdotal stories were great and gave the enthusiastic mosh pit a much needed break between songs. I love every member of the band Paul performed an awesome drum solo, Jimbo is just so damn cool, and of course the Reverend he's got a whammy bar momma and I like it a lot!

Reverend Horton Heat with Backyard Tire Fires

by waterkin on 7/14/09House of Blues Cleveland - Cleveland

Incredible and high energy Psychobilly rock out! Always a good time, Reverend Horton Heat brought the house down. Backyard Tire Fires weren't too bad either. They were a good warm up before the Heat was turned up and the band rocked the House of Blues down!
