  • Short show

by Anonymous on 11/30/15Wilson Theater at Vogel Hall - MilwaukeeRating: 1 out of 5

I haven't missed a show at Irish Fest since their first appearance, love them, but I will not pay to see them in a venue like this again. Show was way too short, about 1hr 10min long. Not worth my travel time nor money. I'm sure they cut 1st show time due to adding 2nd show....so much for fan appreciation. Very disappointing. They and Wilson Theater should learn from Garth Brooks when he added a 3rd show and didn't cut the 2nd show because of it. The truth is, he went over time! Now that was fan appreciation!!!

  • Red Hot Chili Pipers was Red Hot!!

by JennifferL on 11/28/15Effingham Performance Center - EffinghamRating: 5 out of 5

My husband and I have been wanting to see this group for a long time and we were not disappointed at all! The seats were amazing and you could see how fast the pipers played. Sound was excellent. I was glad we were so close though because the theater did not have good video on the screens and was rather blurry. I was very disappointed in that but that had nothing to do with the pipers. The band was very entertaining and had the whole audience out of there seats dancing and not caring about a thing. They were amazingly talented and the accent made it even better. All the members were talented and the showmanship was great. They deserve the best. Also, everyone got to meet them afterwards which was even better. With the seats we had I would have paid double just to see them but then the meet and greet after was the best icing on the cake. I now have something for my husband to try and beat. Go! Don't regret it for a moment!

  • Unlike any band you've ever seen!

    by m200pilot on 11/23/15Effingham Performance Center - EffinghamRating: 5 out of 5

If you expect to see the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and these guys come out on stage, you might be disappointed... But not for long! The Red Hot Chilli PIPERS amaze and entertain you with their "Bag-Rock" renditions of contemporary classic rock songs, and some of their own originals. Queen's "Fat Bottom Girls" never sounded better, as when played by RHCP's Great Highland Bagpipes. Of course they played their fan favorites, "Gimme All Your Lovin'", "Wake Me Up", and "Don't Stop Believin'". And no bagpipe concert would be complete without "Amazing Grace" (done the RHCP way). If you get an opportunity to see the Red Hot Chilli Pipers play... DO IT! It's just plain FUN!

  • Great show! Would have given 5 stars but.....

by tdwyer on 11/22/15Wilson Theater at Vogel Hall - MilwaukeeRating: 4 out of 5

I loved the show. It was interactive, funny and the music was done perfectly. Here's my complaint. The woman that came out singing, pierced my eardrums. I felt punished. Her voice had just one volume, and that was LOUD. It didn't compliment the songs she was singing and it was as if she was trying to drown out the instrumentals. All in all, a good show. I would go again.

  • Rock on Pipers

by Womelsdorf on 3/7/15Hershey Theatre - HersheyRating: 4 out of 5

What a blast. Our first time with the RHCP and quite a hoot. While not for everyone, some folks who thought the band was something else left during the first half. Man did they make a mistake. The second half is when things really took off. Great talent, loved the pipes of course but the drums blew me away. By the end of the show everyone was on their feet. High energy great fun.

  • Bag rock at its best!

by Jockrockers on 3/5/15Hershey Theatre - HersheyRating: 5 out of 5

Really good mix of old and new, very well done. They all looked like they were really enjoying themselves. Happy to meet with everyone after the show with photos and autographs. Really nice group of people.

travelled 3,000 miles to see this concert from U.K , wasn't let down in any way , good fun ,the band made sure to entertain the audience , we are Scottish and new all about them and there music ,don't know if the Americans quite relised that they were the Pipers and not the Peppars still a great experiance and a great night out, well done to the band and will be looking out for my next trip to New York to see them again.

  • Red Hot Chilli Pipers were HOT HOT HOT!

by BronxBee on 3/4/15B.B. King Blues Club and Grill - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

one of the most amazing acts i have ever seen, even if i weren't a fan of bagpipes (my dad plays, my sister plays and my nephew plays)... these guys were full of energy and brought the ancient instrument into the 21st century with their arrangements and musical choice. next time they're around, i will definitely go see them! unfortunately BBKing's has very little in the line of seating, so we wound up standing for three hours. i'm of an age where standing for 3 hours is getting tough. but this show was worth every ache and pain.

  • Red Hot Chilli Pipers Performance was Outstanding!

by loveabeachday on 3/4/15B.B. King Blues Club and Grill - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

Besides the unbelievable talent and music, the best part of the performance was watching the musicians have so much fun. You can see instantly that they love what they are doing by the way they interact with each other and the pure joy on their faces....If you ever get the opportunity to see them perform you should go! We watch the Red Hot Chili Pipers at the House of Blues in NY.. The venue was perfect.. The lighting and sound showcased the talent on the stage. My friend lost his cell phone on the dance floor (jumping to the music), the bartenders and the coat check attendee both helped him find it. (3 wonderful Samaritans turned it in) He yelled " I Love New York" for hours!

  • BEST SHOW EVER!!!

by LTDANI on 3/3/15Hershey Theatre - HersheyRating: 5 out of 5

The Red Hot Chilli Pipers were amazing. Each member is very talented. It was my first time seeing them and I haven't had this much fun in a long time. They were so lively and enthusiastic. They interacted great with the audience. They really know how to get the everyone to participate. It made you feel like you're a part of the show. They were nice enough to sign my CD and were very personable afterwards. I would definitely without a doubt see them again. Thanks for such a fun night.
