  • Red Hot Chilli Pipers are great!

by Anonymous on 3/19/11MassMutual Center - SpringfieldRating: 4 out of 5

First the bad - the warm up band was awful and made me want to leave the Mass Mutual Center. Also I thought this venue was a terrible choice. It was an exhibition room made up with a stage and then rows of folding chairs. There are so many other great venues within 25 miles I was scratching my head at this choice. The Pipers themselves were great, so talented and inventive - but you have to like bagpipes to enjoy!

The Red Hot Chili Pipers were absolutely amazing in the way that the music and bagpipes went together.A far cry from traditional piping.Just wish more people were there.

  • Red Hot Chili Pipers Spice It Up Big Time

Innovative musical twist on rock and traditional Scottish, songs. Excellent show by a band that enjoys what they do. Don't let the bag pipes put you off. Great show, young or old. I met my 23 yr old daughter in the city and dragged her along and she loved it too. We'd both go to another RHCP show, but take some more friends and/or family along.

I thought it was a great show, it was different, didn't know what to expect due to never seeing the Red Hot chili Pipers before, but i was very satisfied, definetaly reccomend getting floor tickets and dancing to the music verses sitting and watching, very upbeat music that makes you want to get up and dance. i would definately reccomend seeing them, I will be going to there next show when they tour around here again.

  • NYC Got BagRocked!

I brought my 12 y/o daughter to see the Chilli Pipers. After we saw them 2 years ago on a PBS special she'd been asking me to see them live. This was our first dose of the real thing and they didn't disappoint. They were a real treat and truly unforgettable. We left the show with my daughter asking when they're coming back. =D

  • I could not stop dancing

They really are an amazing band. The way the music is composed along with the bag pipes is so well done. They are a very tight band and the beats are always right on time. They also incorporate the audience into their show and make it interactive and fun.The overall energy of the music is high and very contagious. It was in the top 3 of my favorite shows. I cannot wait to see them in September!
