The venue was smaller and that was great but these guys rocked the house anyway. They are talented, versatile, funny and extremely entertaining, add in the Scottish element and well they just have it all. Would go see them again in a heartbeat.
This was an amazing evening everyone in our party loved the show . Food was good too. I even managed to get members of the group to make a little video for my mum who’s in hospital.
This is a fantastic show. High energy, raucous good time. These guys are talented and fun. If you like bagpipes and you like rock and roll, do not miss this show.
The show and venue was awesome we really have a good time, we will definitely see them again.
The Red Hog Chili Pipers are a fun band to see live. They are energetic and have a lot of talent. I’ve seen them twice & hope to see them again soon.
Great but the flashing white lights “blinded” those in the Balcony. 👍
I saw the pipers 12 years ago in Milwaukee. They played a lot more rock, had more pipers (I think) and didn't have the full band. They were exciting and energetic then but fell flat for me at this show. I thought the vocalist was a poor fit for the band, and their over the top efforts to get the audience to clap, dance etc. was annoying.
Always a good performance, great energy and talent.
The Red Hot Chili Pipers kept it fun and moving, warming up a freezing venue. Their mix of traditional reels and jigs along with singable pop music (Coldplay, Stevie Wonder, Journey, for ex.) brought something for the wide-ranging crowd. The group's high energy and remarkable musicianship made for a great night out, for they did not disappoint. So glad they put Cincinnati on their tour stops.
High energy, upbeat and lively. Great song selection; very entertaining. This is a don't miss, family friendly event. I have attended 4 of their shows in the last few years and I would attend another if it was in the area. Go and have fun!
The Red Hot Chilli Pipers put on such an amazing show! Their stage presence is second only to their musicianship. Every member of the band contributes something special to the blend that pushes the music to the next level. I would definitely recommend catching the Pipers any chance you get (especially if you’re into classic rock)!
So with the name pipers in the title we would not expect the other instruments to be turned up so loud not to showcase the pipers. Also the venue was way too small to be blasting lights out at the crowd. Every song they were blinding to try to watch. The show
1st time at the Ludlow Garage and will be going back. It's about a 90 minute drive to get there for us, and well worth the drive and enjoyed the show as well.
My husband and I loved every minute of this concert. It was high energy, great music, and so much fun!
Great concert. I'd suggest that the civic theatre let customers know how much time in between acts the next will start. Would be nice to know if there's enough time to use restroom, buy souvenir, get drink, etc.
Loved the show - lots of familiar tunes, high energy, super-talented musicians, and lots of surprises. The encore had everyone on their feet. Nice job, pipers!
Shout out to the openers, Mia Asano and Ally the Piper. They were amazing and I would have listened to them longer. The Pipers were enjoyable but I would have enjoyed them more without the singer. He was a little too broadway and over the top.
Thought I had tickets to the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Bought two tickets. One was for my nephew for a birthday present. But the Pipers were worth the price. Main floor second row out from stage. Enjoyed their songs and would see them again.
We didn't know what to expect. This was spontaneous for us to go. A friend mistakenly thought she had tickets for the Red Hot Chili Peppers. She gave them to me about 2 hours before the show. The band has a great sound, excellent back up band to the bagpipes, including guitar, bass, drums and a singer. It was a great show. Inwould see again.
Well. Firstly, i thought i was buying ted hot chili peppers tickets… my mistake. I figured id go to the show anyway, why not, since i bought the tickets. I think if i wore ear plugs i would still be able to hear everything perfectly. Great musicians buttt i dont like bagpipes. No fault of theirs.
