Awesome experience, great show by the drivers. Great overall, one of the best events that I has seen. Ken Block is a great dude.
Great event, fun time, participant friendly. Great access to the paddock.
Its refreshing to see a motorsports race that is really competative; love the shorter races instead of watching roundy rounds for hours.....boring. On the negative side the gaps between races need to be shortened, very long wait times. Also the parking was horrible at the Linq, need to have enough parking set up to handle the crouds.
Great event. Vegas needs more Red Bull events like this. Exciting, entertaining, family friendly fun. Unlike other similar events, all attendees have access to the team paddock and photo ops with the drivers and vehicles.
Red bull rally cross was awesome!!! Way better than i expected.Hope this happens again next year and for years after..Have been telling all my friends about it.Will definitly be attending next year. Will be going both days.Nassau coliseum should do two events a year! The only thing they need are higher grandstands. My brother came with me and did not know anything about this event but now he is hooked and cannot wait for next years event.
I HAD THE TIME OF MY LIFE. I had know idea the Red Bull GRC was such an exsperance. The staff we SO helpful and down to earth. The GRC event itself was setup perfectly. The fact that everything was so open. I was able to walk right up to Nelson Piquet Jr. and Tanner Foust and Scott Speed and Patrick Sandell AND Ken Block & say hi. I walked right up to the racecars and touched them. I TOUCHED THE RACECARS. It was such a great event and I HOPE that they ,Red Bull GRC, comes back to Nassau Colliseum over & over again.
I attended the GRC Saturday event in Long Island , it was an all day event , but it had a massive amount of downtime. The paddock area and the couple minutes of actual racing was the main highlight of the event. The spectating area was very mediocre at this venue , and speakers playing music really ruined the experience with hearing the race cars. It was cool you can walk around the designated area for the cars and interact with the drivers and mechanics , pick their brains. The cars were very fun to watch , however the track layout was primary tarmac with one dirt jump. You are allowed to leave the area on foot , but you have to pay for parking AGAIN if you leave this certain venue. Since Red Bull sponsored the event , I assumed their beverages would be regularly priced or slightly discounted. WRONG , it was 5 dollars for a bottle of water and likewise for a small can of Red Bull. Three times the amount , ridiculous pricing for food and snakes too. Unfortunately I didn't plan ahead with bringing my own cooler with food and drinks , which I praise on doing if you go to this event. All and all it was fairly decent to spectate the GRC Rally , I would recommend it.
Unbeliebale event. Drivers were approachable and super friendly. Tons of interaction with fans
The event was awesome! The only thing I wasn't happy with was the amount I paid for a VIP ticket when standard tickets pretty much did everything the VIP ticket listed.
Awesome racing finally in New York, I hope they come back again.
2nd time attending a GRC race. Last time was when they were following the NASCAR series. Seating was much better this time. The light class is a big improvement, but there is still a lot of down time. More classes like the speed stadium super trucks or a lower level class then lights division would be good. One other improvement that could be made is something like Indy car dose where 1 lucky fan gets to do a ride along be four the race. Overall enjoyed the entire weekend and will do again next year. O ya please don't schedule it on the same weekend as forest rally next year.
Coolest race!! Great location. So close to home can't wait for it to come back.
This was the first time Global Rallycross was on Long Island. The race course set up in the parking lot of the Nassau Coliseum was great. The viewing areas were set up so the fans could see the course in its entirety. It is a small, intimate, close form of racing so there was never a dull moment, rather it was exciting and fun. Access into and out of the venue was a breeze with no traffic issues. It made for a great weekend and I can only hope they will keep this stop on their racing schedule in future.
This was my first GRC event and I fully enjoyed it. I only went on the second day so there was only 2 races, but being able to walk the track afterwards and meet the drivers was epic!! I met Tanner Foust!! I recommend this event to anyone who loves rally racing. Definitely an intense experience!!
Great event for everyone who has the Need for Speed fix
More events like this are needed in the NY area. Keep motorsports alive on Long Island! It's about time Nassau Coliseum got used for a real event!
The roar of the engines, the starts and the excitement the joker creats was awesome.
I would attend this event every time it comes to NY!!!! Such a good time with a great setup.
The race was awesome. We need more of these events on Long Island!
I enjoyed the races, my 7 year old loved it! It's fun, the races themselves and the paddock where you get to see each race car serviced up close.
