    Not VIP

by Rafarally on 6/25/14RFK Stadium Lot 8 - Washington

I bought ViP tickets for this event And the diffrence was poor. Only nice tables with redbull shades... Not even a water free The general grandstand view was a lot better than the crapy view from VIP. Private restroom sucks 30 min line nothing VIP , spend 230$ for nothing ... Next time General Admition

    Boring in between races

by dmtracer on 6/25/14RFK Stadium Lot 8 - Washington

Race was awesome but very short. Out of 4 hours there they only raced for about 20 minutes. Two 6 lap qualifiers and one 10 lap main race. The rest of the time there was extremely boring

    First Rallycross

by SlotCarRacer on 6/25/14RFK Stadium Lot 8 - Washington

Should have been there Saturday also, but WX was not promising. Good location for public transportation to the event, but may consider driving next year. A shuttle to the METRO stop would have been greatly appreciated. The walk back to the METRO in the heat was exasperating. I should have tried viewing from the top of the berms opposite the grandstands. I was looking to find a location for photos without having the safety grid in the way. Getting on the berm with a 400mm lens might have been the solution. No driver appearances in the VIP area on Sunday, so the only perk for VIP tickets was air conditioned restrooms. A few stickers would have been customary at Watkins Glen.

VIP Club Ticket is not worthy

by holyloverMe on 6/25/14RFK Stadium Lot 8 - Washington

i won't recommend buying this $106 ticket . There are no difference on a regular admission ticket for $25. The main race event is done in 15 minutes. Saywhat? Grand Prix is so much better... i do not recommend this event.

RBGRCDC could they add more letters

by ThatGuyWithThatBeard on 6/24/14RFK Stadium Lot 8 - Washington

It was a bit annoying you couldn't buy one day tickets ahead of time, that being said early tickets were reasonable for what they got you. A few notes to anyone who would want to go yo any of these events. Get there by metro/ mass transit, Saves time and money. Only reason to park is to tailgate which they were allowing (wish I had known that, couldn't find on the website). Arrive early. Going through the paddock before the masses arrived allowed anyone to rub elbows with the drivers, including the likes of Ken Block. If you do get there early it will allow you to get a good spot and stake a claim. Not all seats created equal. With short bleachers you must be at the top to see anything, even then there is no way to see the whole track. Wish there were a little more elevation to see everything better. If at all possible be in front of the jumbotron, it was in a good spot to see the most of the track anyway and if anything happened in the one corner you couldn't see it would be replayed a few seconds later. Unrelated to the racing but the stunt show in between races was a bit dull to begin with and then they did the same show every time. Get something better (instead of the ferirs wheel) or don't bother All in all a great event, just wishing that at full price that all of the drivers would have been there (all but one make the final is a bit lame) and that there would have been a little bit better viewing area. That being said if they announce a dc stop next summer I will have tickets for sure.

    Global Rallycross Two-Day VIP Package

by rallyracer on 6/24/14RFK Stadium Lot 8 - Washington

Well I have to say I was very disappointed I took my 12 yr old son to his first automobile race and ended up watching construction equipment work for 13 hours over 2 days, and a total of 35 min of cars actually on the track . the general admission had better seats and a TV to watch over the vip section do not know what I really paid for ? no wonder Red Bull has so much money. from watching the tv coverage you would have thought it was very exciting . it was far from exciting .

    Needs Work

    by SandyBeach007 on 6/24/14RFK Stadium Lot 8 - Washington

The VIP seating was a bit lacking. The event organizers should also consider having higher grandstands. I have been to NASCAR races where you can see over the fence and the other side of the track. With the current grandstand height, you're looking through two fences and it gets annoying after a while.

    Keep 'em coming

by bgarsound on 6/24/14RFK Stadium Lot 8 - Washington

Great event. It definitely has some teething pains that will go away. We were there only for the practice day and it was still a blast. It's a great competition with good viewing. As it grows, it's really going to be incredible to watch. Paddock access adds a cool aspect as well.

    Fun day - great racing

    by KF55 on 6/24/14RFK Stadium Lot 8 - Washington

This event in DC shows why Global Rallycross keeps gaining in popularity while other forms of racing are declining. Open paddock, approachable drivers/teams, lots of fun activities and relatively easy to get there and find your way around. Even my non-racing fan wife had a lot of fun and was jumping around cheering at times. Only complaint was the quality of seats...the grandstands were way too low to have visibility to the track, and from some angles you were looking through numerous lines of fences. Maybe having the seats on platforms next year would be better.

Great event but VIP was a joke!

    by Dennis313 on 6/24/14RFK Stadium Lot 8 - Washington

I had a great time at the event as a whole, but I paid extra for the VIP ticket and it was the biggest waste of money ever! They claimed that it would come with a "premium viewing area", but really all they did was stick us in a corner at the end of the main straight. You could hardly see anything! Never again!

    First time event, impressive

by FrankRaceFan on 6/24/14RFK Stadium Lot 8 - Washington

For only having two classes of cars activity on track was very interesting. The format maintained interest plus the off track activities were very well ran. All of the "Staff" were helpful and offered suggestions to make sure you didn't miss anything. VW was a major presence and if you missed the test drive you did miss some serious fun. Food service was good, beverage locations good, restrooms, well it is a race temporary race track in a parking lot, but lots of blue and green "boxes" and a couple that were Air Conditioned! Overall I hope this happens again next year, a lot of fun.

    This sport has a future

    by JBIALLAS74 on 6/24/14RFK Stadium Lot 8 - Washington

Engaging drivers who are good to the fans, cool small cars driven with both skill and daring at the same time, affordable ticket prices, food trucks this event had it all.

    Fun experience!

by JettaDriver on 6/24/14RFK Stadium Lot 8 - Washington

Overall had a great time at this event. I have never been to a race prior to this and i wasn't dissapointed. Location was good, price was very fair. The only downfall i found at this place was the lack of seating. I would have appreciated being able to sit anywhere around the track, versus just near the finish line. Apart from the race itself, there was plenty of stuff to do and see during the downtime. I liked the fact that you could watch the cars being worked on in between races and possibly meet some of the drivers! it was very interactive and engaging.

Forget the VIP go General Admission

by Vesco on 6/24/14RFK Stadium Lot 8 - Washington

Saturday was ok but VIP features weren't as stated. VIP grandstand was not a premium view, couldn't see stage or bigscreen or hear loudspeakers. All of these were fine with only General Admission. Sunday was much worse since VIP was oversold and there wasn't enough seating. Since when does the VIP experience consist of standing on folding chairs to watch the race through the fencing. Announced special driver appearances never happened. Overall very little racing actually occurs Sunday. At 30 seconds a lap, a 10 lap race is under 5 minutes total. If you stood in long lines for food you missed two races. Go Saturday on a General Admission walk up and save your self a $100 because the Andretti VIP tickets aren't worth the high cost.

    WHAT WAS THIS!?

    by Duncan424 on 6/24/14RFK Stadium Lot 8 - Washington

Overall- This event SUCKED First off, let me state that I went to the Redbull Flugtag and that event was great. $80 VIP tickets, free food, games, drinks and souvenirs. This event. Terrible. - Opened gates at 8am but nothing within the event opened until 10am -VIP tickets cost $179 but you got nothing except seats off in the corner of the track, away from civilization, with one set of bleachers that gave you a terrible view of one turn. - General admission tickets gave you a better view, but not by much. Still only a view of the turn you are closest to. - $11 for mixed redbull drinks and you could even keep the remaining redbull from your mix. -$4 for a redbull (keep in mind this is their event) with not even ONE redbull girl walking around giving out free samples. Which I could find on my campus at any given time of the day. - Lastly, there were tickets for an even more expense VIP section, that you couldnt purchase through Ticketmaster, that allowed you access to a three story platform, which gave you a view of the entire track. I cant imagine what the cost of those tickets were. This event was terrible and has deterred me from going to another redbull event.

    Cool Event but...

    by pompy26 on 6/24/14RFK Stadium Lot 8 - Washington

Overall the event was still alot of fun. However I don't really feel like the ROI for the tickets was QUITE there. There was too much downtime in between practices, seeding, races without enough to do during that downtime. Food and drinks were rediculously priced and ticket prices for "VIP" also didn't really have quite enough of a return on investment. Good news though is that the paddock was super open and the drivers were extremely friendly and always out mingling with the crowd, which was very very cool. Races were short but exciting.

    Love Red Bull Global Rallycross!!

    by LuckyAX26 on 6/24/14RFK Stadium Lot 8 - Washington

The level of driver/fan interaction is great. You are so close to the action that it is crazy. Really a lot of fun. The fact that you can move around and check out the races from different vantage points is really cool. You can make sure you are in your favorite spot for the finals. Kid friendly too!!

Red Bull Global Rallycross vs. Volkswagen Rallycro

by Brandondelano on 6/24/14RFK Stadium Lot 8 - Washington

The VIP package was a complete waste of money. Nothing as promised!
