Veteran comedian Ralphie May's popularity exploded after the success of the first season of "Last Comic Standing." Long-time fans of Ralphie were joined by countless new fans when America thought he was robbed of the winner's title. Despite the show's outcome, Ralphie's special brand of comedy combines the familiar elements of hip-hop and topical comedy with a dash of southern down-home flavor and quick wit, making him one of the most popular comedians in the country. His first DVD, appropriately titled "Just Correct," went platinum!
His special brand of humor and incredible timing has allowed Ralphie to cross social, cultural, and ethnic barriers and has earned him roles in such films as "For Da Love of Money" and "Gas." Ralphie has worked as an actor, writer and producer on ESPN's "Mohr Sports" starring Jay Mohr and made multiple appearances on "The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn" and "Jimmy Kimmel Live." He has also appeared on "Tough Crowd," "The Man Show" and MTV's "Bash," as well as in guest-starring roles on numerous television shows. In an appearance on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" he received a standing ovation, the first comedian in 10 years to receive this honor.
He was drunk and the show was terrible! Good thing the tickets were FREE! would never pay to see him.
He came out on stage and looked completely hammered! He paused for a long time transitioning from one joke to another; like he was trying to get his thoughts together or something. I saw multiple people leave and walk out. People were heckling and being disruptive during the show. Security did nothing to kick people out. It was a train wreck! I spent $75 a piece on these tickets and wish I could get a refund. I will never go see him again!
Ralphie came onto stage a bit high. As the show went on and he woke up it fit considerably better.
I took my husband to see him and we were both very excited. When he came on stage he was visibly heavily intoxicated and when he started his show he would pause for 15-20 seconds between his jokes and left an uncomfortable feeling. I could tell the crowd could sense this, and in his long pauses with start to jeer him and made the experience even more aweful. When he slowly sobered at the end of his performance it was great. Very disappointed that I spent so much money watching a drunk/high person on stage to only be funny in the last 10 minutes of his show.
Although I'll never see another show at this venue, seats were small and crowded, someone sat on half my seat the entire time. Even with the hecklers, Ralphie kept it funny and had us laughing entire time, would love to see him again!
When he first came on stage, blazed, I thought he was gonna Dave Chapelle the show. But Ralphie really delivered, especially with new content. Just wish fellow audience members could sit back and enjoy the show instead of yelling at the stage.
Ralphie May was very funny and did a good job entertaining his audience. Some of the fans were hecklers which was annoying, but he performed straight through them and made that a humorous situation too.
He was a bit under the weather with a tooth infection but started up quickly. Very funny and very rated R. We will see him again
Didn't enjoy...too much time on same topic. Don't like constant talk about lady parts. He made me feel sick.
Ralphie May was hilarious!! I hurt from laughing so hard.
Fantastic show... Current material, in the way Ralphie does it....
WOW! 1st off, if you are overly sensitive, don't book this show- grow a pair. For the rest of you, this was an absolutely OUTSTANDING show. I booked for 5 of us, all in front row with a VIP meet n greet. I would spend the money again on a Ralphie May show without hesitation. His opening act was decent, when Ralphie came out- I will advise he was rather over the top on the vulgar side- BUT he quickly warmed to the crowd and had us absolutely ROARING! My gut still hurts from laughing. I brought my 75 yr old father along, and was not quite sure how it would go, even though he is a Ralphie fan. Well, he was called out for basically being the old guy towards the end of the show... and the banter was so fantastic that Ralphie ran with it and the show ran super late! It was such a great time. Fantastic experience had by all of us, and a great time at the meet and greet after. BOOK THE VIP package!!!
I HAVE SEEN QUITE A FEW OF RALPHIE'S SHOWS ON CABLE. THIS SHOW IS DEFINITELY MORE EXPLICIT AND BLUE - THAN HIS CABLE "SHOWS". YOU HAVE TO BE READY FOR IT. BUT, I HAVE TO TELL YOU - IT WAS AWESOME. MY MOTHER'S MOUTH NEVER CLOSED DURING THE ENTIRE CONCERT. RALPHIE IS RAUNCHY AND CRUDE BUT, IN A VERY HONEST AND IN DEPTH WAY. "YOU CAN'T BE BE WRONG, IF YOU ARE RIGHT." GREAT SHOW!
Ralphie May is one of the best. Show was awesome. Theater was great small enough to make it feel like it was a show just for you.
Ralphie was awesome. He kept us laughing for the entire show.
We laughed all night and all next day. Terrific show. The best money we spent in Vegas.
I've been watching Ralphie on TV since he debuted on Last Comic Standing. His show 'No Apologies' is a must see in Vegas. My girlfriend and I were lucky enough to nab front row seats at the show and meet Ralphie after. His comedy routine is raunchy, smart, and ultimately hilarious.
Definitely worth the money, had a great time and he was very funny.
I haven't laughed so hard in my life, it was so much fun. Worth every penny.
Ralphie was funny, quick witted and really put on a good show. Catch it.
