So sorry to see Rain go...My third time and it was the best!!
For anyone who loves the Beatles and their music this was a wonderful, fun-filled, fantastic experience. Excellent, highly recommended. I can't wait for it to hopefully come back to New York soon.
we've seen 'em all--Beatle tributes--and this one is pretty good. It covers all the basics--the British Invasion period, the psychedelic period, the break-up period. A feel-good time--esp if you can beat the heat!
As good as we hoped it would be! Singing, dancing and overall fun show!
Thoroughly enjoyed this show, the music was great -these guys really do sound like the Beatles and have mastered the instruments, vocals, and general feel of the Beatles. A good time.
While Rain is leaving NY, it was great to hear the tunes that made the Beatles so popular during that time. It always makes me reflect if they were coming together during this time, would they be the sensation they were then. Probably not. However, they were here at a time when Rock and Roll needed them. And for that, we should all be thankful. Rain did a good job representing the different changes that the Beatles went through during there time together and brought back many fond memories. While it is no longer in NY, I would definitely recommend it if, or when, it comes to a theatre near you.
Overall entertaining and a wonderful walk down Memory Lane. When put together it is amazing to see how prolific the creators ofthe Beatle's music really were. All well done by Rain although they seemed in the beginning to lack some cohesiveness and energy in the front end of the performance.
Went to see Rain with wife and 2 teenage kids. We all loved it. It is a concert placed within a nice time capsule of the 60s scene. I was a big Beatles fan and a bit skeptical going in and my daughter had only barely heard of them. After the show she wanted to buy all their CDs. The show starts really strong and ends strong. The middle is more theatrical than musical, but that was the Beatles. Certainly one of the best values on Broadway. A real feel good and fun show!
Excellent, engaging, audience totally involved. The artists were right on , never missed a note or word. Their musical artistic diverse ability was amazing. The artists performance demonstratic how much they enjoyed doing it and sharing with the audience. I definitely felt as though I was part of the original experience. A wonderful memory for my family. I strongly recommend for all ages. I can't say enough good things but my thanks and appreciation to all who made this possible.
This was the third time that we went to see Rain since November. Joey Curatolo (Paul) puts on an amazing show, has such charm and charisma (just like Paul) and his musical ability is phenomenal. Each time I went to see them, it left me wanting more. I cannot wait till they come back to the area to see them again.
Great nostalgic look at the 60's and very real Beatles music.
Made me wish I existed in the sixties. Basically 5 - 6 concerts in one with great interludes that really transport you back in time to the decade of peace of love.
What a great show. it felt like i was really watching the Beatles. From the costumes right down to the voices, Rain was incredible!!!
Excellent tribute band. Enjoy the show tremendously.
Prefer the Las Vegas Beatles production. The "John Lennon" character was better in Las Vegas. The Paul character was excellent on Broadway. Also prefer the Ed Sullivan character in the Las Vegas production. Did enjoy the Shea Stadium re-creation on Broadway. Would have liked to see Ringo do more than one vocal. Since I was able to compare productions, I am glad that I gave Las Vegas a five star and Broadway a three star.
not as good as Jersey Boys which told a history of the group could have been better although I enjoyed it immensely as a matter of fact I loved it ..the generations after me were lost ...they knew the music but would have liked insight into the players....
Almost as good as the real thing! Loved the video clips playing throughout - especially the 60's commercials! Strongly recommend music lovers of all ages see this show if it tours anywhere near them. Great job, everyone.
Really great show. Takes you back in time as if you were seeing the real thing! Great for all ages. The actors/musicians were excellent look-a-likes and had all their mannerisms down to a tee.
This was one great show! I was shocked to hear that it is closing this weekend....not sure why since it was flawless. The 4 musicians both looked and sounded like the iconic Beatles and with the 4-5 costume changes (in chronological order) it was the closest one could come to seeing the The Beatles. The "Paul" character was the best, with "John" being a close 2nd. RAIN is great - don't miss it.
AWESOME! A five-star show! Multi-generational! IMAGINE!
