Public Ice Skating Macon Coliseum Tickets

I was very excited to take my kids ice skating with friends. I actually skated when I was younger at this location. I put in the first pair of skates and went out. I could hardly skate. The blades were so dull they could not grip the ice or push off the ice. Returned the skates and asked for a sharper pair. I was informed they were supposed to get new skates the past season. I was also informed that they had a person who could sharpen the skates but they simply don’t do it. I was very dissatisfied that my child and I had to struggle to skate because the facility can’t take the time to sharpen ice skates. I watched my children and several others struggling the entire time. I could feel the blades and tell some were worse than others. Very disappointed. I had planned to go back with my kids. I’m not sure I will now given the experience.

A little difficult to find if you’ve never been before. The staff was friendly and the bathrooms were clean. The hour flew by and it was the perfect amount for time for teens.

An hour just isn’t long enough. They had a great time, but it wasn’t worth the drive and admission for an hour, which was more like 40 mins by the time they got to skate.

I really enjoyed the ice skating. The ice was great and lots of room on the ice for all level of skaters. Restrooms were clean. Can improve on the directional signage for parking and entrance into the Coliseum. From out of town and first time at the Macon Coliseum. I wear a size 12 men's size skate. The skates were not in the best conditions. Overall I had a wonderful time ice skating.

We had a great time! Not overly crowded, the workers were great, and the facility was nice. Would definitely go again!

The experience was very tense. The restrictions are more than people can handle. No hanging on the wall, no picture taking, No cell phone usage period is taking It to the extreme. I have been skating here for a very long time and have NEVER seen the atmosphere like this. I completely understand that the safety for everyone is top priority but being screamed at for checking your cell phone is taking it too far.

This was my first time ice skating and I had a good time.

The skating was great, Ticketmaster was easy BUT some Insurance trickster ALLIANZIN had a box (apparently) that had to be UNCHECKED and I did not see it so I was charged an extra $112.

We love going ice skating. I think the session should be longer. The people working here are not friendly. But this is a fun thing to do in the winter.

It’s a must try ! This was my second time but my kids first time and we all really enjoyed it ! Great family friendly activity!
